Bought an Audi A6 from this garage as soon as I drive off forecourt problems with side lights told to bring back when electrician on sights every time I called guess what he was never there approx. 3 weeks later the car lost nearly all power and was told by them that the turbo pipe had split and it needed a new resonator ?? fair play repaired in three days under what I thought was paid out by warranty Now the big one about 3 weeks after that the engine seized completely I had to get someone to collect the car as it just packed up in the middle of the road with no warning apart from the oil pressure light came on and seconds later seizes engine car was taken to SVS in Cardiff I believe they were once known as The Cardiff engine and gearbox centre It was there for nearly 6 weeks no offer of a courtesy car from Compact Cars or SVS As the engine had been removed I decided to do some preventative work done and have a new clutch fitted after I got the car back and after a short while I noticed that it was leaking oil by this time I had had enough I contacted the finance company who practically ignored me for nearly five I stopped paying then they took notice what a supprise they told me that they had fixed the oil leak not a chance now I cant really afford car hire and car payments so I just kept topping up the oil until the next service now its in a garage that I trust after they had renewed all my brakes they started on the oil change I had a phone call to say they had found the leak and that my sump had a crack in it also the bottom end of the engine is probably from another 2.0 TDI But NOT FROM MY MODEL A6 they have had to bend the oil intake pipe to make it fit also there has been a vibration on the car since it had been returned from SVS Now this model A6 has a balance shaft which is missing in the repair from SVS So I have instructed the garage to replace the sump with a new one and do whatever repairs are necessary to pot the car back on the road the garage also reported that it had been badly fitted judging buy the amount of rounded and distorted bold due car and attention was not high on the list of whoever fitted this engine so my solution with the finance company and garage will be to ask them to take the car back refund all my payments and any money that I have spent on repairs and for costs whilst the car was off the road and an amount for compensation should this not be agreed within 48 hours of the car and contract ending I SHALL ISSUE AGAINST THEM NOT IN THE COINTY COURT BUT IN THE HIGH COURT

Some things never change. I bought a car with these people 6 years ago, drove it over the road and spent £600 in a repair shop immediately. Compact Cars are the perfect stereotype of what we think about second hand car dealers.

Found car to be full of problems and getting them to be resolved and acknowledged proved difficult. Would not recommend!
