Congleton Trade Cars sold us a car, with the wrong brake discs on, took it back the next day had to hire a car while we waited, been messed about for over three weeks the car has been with him more than us..still hasn't settled the finance on our px car and clearly has no intention of. We asked for our car back after being patient for weeks to be met with a tirade of abuse, and a down right refusal to give us our car back... We will be contacting trading standards 1st thing tomorrow. Vile man.. Don't be fooled. And whoever he has doing his MOTS is clearly no good. STAY AWAY.

I THINK THE TRADE CAR GARAGE IN CONGLETON IS NOT ALL BAD IT HAS ITS PROBLEMS LIKE ANY SECOND HAND CAR GARAGE DOES THE MAIN PROBLEM IS YOU ALL WANT A SHOWROOM CONDITION CAR FOR A SECOND HAND CAR PRICE HE EQUALLY TACKS THE RISK ON HIS TRADE CARS LIKE EVERY ONE ELSE DOES GIVE THE GUY A BREAK......................
I absolutely love my Alfa Romeo from Congleton Trade cars I have had it for a while now and I have had no issues with it what is ever, it was in immaculate condition when I received it and it was a very good price. The dealer was really nice and very helpful. I would 100 percent recommend this dealership to anyone.

Bought a Vauxhall Astra from Congleton Trade Cars. It broke down after a day. They had it back for a week it broke down again the next day. Refused my money back. Refused to spend any more time fixing the car. Threatened with trading standards & eventually got my money back. Also I had abusive phone calls off the owner for wanting my money back. Very vile people stay well away also they garage on Manchester road call fairmill. They told my wife to do one (to put it politely) when we went there to ask for our refund.

Same thing happening to me! Refusing to fix, refusing to accept calls, refused two 'signed for on delivery' letters. Very dodgy behaviour. Now pursuing him through county court.

I have bought a car off this dealer which has been faulty and i am also pursuing him through the courts. I have contacted trading standards because personally i think its better to stop people like this from trading instead of letting person after person get screwed over as has happened here. If any of you would like to be involved in my case with trading standards that would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly the same thing has happened to us, sold us a car that was a death trap with faulty and the wrong brake discs, refusing to have the car back, still hasn't settled.the finance on our old car either he's an absolute cowboy and had become abusive because we have asked for our car back, "not happening" he said. Trading standards call in the morning I think.

I am having huge trouble with the garage, bought a car from them, the doors didn't work properly, took it back for him to fix and do MOT on it, he decided he was going to try and resell it on for me as I didn't no longer want the car due to its faults, he still has the car and I have asked for my money back and he has been abusive to my husband on the phone saying we can f... off. I have had a letter now from DVLA saying that he has written to them requesting to be the registered keeper, which they say he can be???? even though I own the car, don't know why that is. I am feeling worried now as have no car and he has my money, please someone help me, I see that Katie is taking him to court, can you advise me what I can do Katie ??? I hope you see this response.

Sue or anyone else that would like to help get this man shut down please could you email katiebristow@live.com. I have taken him to court and won my case, he is currently in breach of the court agreement that was created as he is not paying me the instalments that we agreed on. I can give you any information you would like in relation to my matter. I am in contact with Trading Standards and i encourage anyone else to contact them as well. You can contact Trading Standards by ringing Citizens Advice Bureau, i think the more people that voice their story to trading standards the better. Im shocked and upset to see how many people this man has conned and i am going to do everything i can to make sure that this stops and he gets the justice he deserves for his atrocious behaviours.

How is he still in business or alive for that matter is beyond me, flogged me a ford abs light on engine light on, dodgy brakes none repaired, the MOT centre he uses is for a purpose, to pass cars he classes as safe, trading standards are useless.
Stay clear of fiat grande punto md08cwy, i bought this and found out it had a dodgy MOT certificate, the driver door is faulty and wont open from inside, the rear fog light does not work , these are MOT failures, yet were present when I bought it , owner even admitted on a phone recording that the MOT was illegal, and it has dangerous abs brakes, these kick in too early when going down hill and you skid sideways. i would NOT recommend these people at all. The car was given back with a full refund after legal action.

Really happy with my Jeep Commander from Congleton Trade Cars. The service was very good and The car was in good condition when they handed it over to me. I have had the car for a few months and up to now its been spot on! I would recommend this dealership.
