Awful dealership. I've taken my M5 there twice for repairs – once for interior trim and electronics, and once for the rear spoiler – and both times they've completely bodged it up. They're utterly useless. If you can, visit Thames Ditton instead.

I took my car LR60PZV into Berry BMW Croydon for a repair to the side and it came back with damage to the bumper. They are refusing to put this right. I’ve been taking my car there for 10 years for MOTs, servicing and repairs. Are me and my car too old to care for anymore?

I’m rather taken back with the service I’ve received at the BMW. I had an issue with the car overheating. I called you up and was told it was something to do with a recall. You kindly took the car in to get fixed. The recall has been done but there was absolutely no mention of any damage the overheating may have caused etc. Instead, I received a call telling me a ‘major’ service was required and that I would need to pay £300+ For this. The guys who usually service my car charge me far less and even change the spark plugs etc. All BMW did was change the air filter and some very minor things I could have done myself. I then received a phone call wanting almost £1,200 for break pads and discs to be changed (I do these myself (yes I am a female but this is an issue fix) and only pay for parts; to sort out an oil leak which isn’t really an issue as it just needs tightening; to ‘investigate’ a rear wiper water issue which is simply unblocked (I’ve unblocked it before so certainly don’t warrant £120 to do a 2 second job). And on top of this, my car was not cleaned, well not fully cleaned as it’s looks like someone has spilt something in the car, hence only a section of the interior was cleaned. All in all I would not recommend your company to anyone and I wish I never paid for the service as what I received was much higher than I usually pay AND less work was done during the service. Lastly I was almost roped into paying for another MOT certificate as you told me mine had expired. I almost had a panic attack but suddenly realised it’s not due until NOVEMBER this year. All in all, my car over heated and conked out due to an issue response by BMW hence the recall, yet despite this, I was conned into paying for a ‘major’ service, incorrectly told I needed an MOT, and quoted £1,200 for things I do myself for less than £100 and still wasn’t told whether the recall had caused any damage. What a rip off
4 visits during Lockdown and still wasn’t repaired. My driver seat came back ripped, my bodywork came back damaged on too many panels. Item is my boot stolen. Avoid this garage as their customer service department refuses to help you.

I am Giorgio , me & my wife bought an x1 on 26october so happy for our "brand new" suv car. Till today 22 December we Sorn the car because lots of issues related to tyres, camber, alignment, tracking& no chance from them to fix or exchange the vehicle: it's guaranteed 3 years. They just want Frode us , take our money those fuckers starting from gm Andrew Amiss Avoid this brunch! Thanks
Absolutely disgusting behaviour by management I was refused to use toilet facilities after a 3 hour journey to deliver products to the company. I have a medical condition and my card as proof was shown,, gloves and mask are always worn, offered to wipe down all areas I may come in to contact with. Absolutely disgusting how the treat a human being

I have a drive train issue on my 640D and have done for over 5 years now. On average my car is in their garages ( Cooper Croydon) under repair about once to twice a year. And each time I'm charged a large bill for various bits they have fitted, and each time within a time period of 1 week to 6 months the Drive train fault reappears. Today I had a scheduled meeting with the service manager. The Drive train fault was reappeared as off last week, clearly this faulty has never been truly fixed in over 5 years. I requested that they pay me back some of the repairs monies I had paid over this time period. Managers response was no i they will not be giving me any money back but they can offer a free inspection/diagnostics. I think I will have to seek further advise as it feels I have been Royally hacked off.
We part exchanged our car for a Mini Countryman, and found Asif (the sales consultant) thoroughly professional and helpful throughout the process. As were Diana & Vinesh.when sorting out a service plan. Moreover, we have been a using this Cooper branch for some years and have found them to be efficient & effective.. However, like all large dealerships we have experienced some difficulties in contacting them, but by & large their customer care has been very reasonable, hence our continued custom.

Went to Lookers Croydon after lockdown release some weeks back to notice the information pedestals next to their new cars (price, performance, mpg etc) was missing in about 90% of the cars. I questioned why and their weak answer was just getting back from lockdown. Visited today 7/7/30 and about 80% of this info still missing with same pathetic excuse .... this is exceptionally bad marketing as clients go into the showroom for information so why is this critical information still missing. Suggest that the company has no customer respect and not really interested in selling cars. Hopefully the head of business David Jones reads this and gets his act together and shows a modecombe of respect to his clients. Have been to many other showrooms recently and they obviously present this important info.
