Coventry Car Mart is an absolute disgrace of a company... bought a £2,500 Golf Tdi ‘07’ plate. Noticed the juddering with the turbo on my way home and they really did not want to know. I waited a couple of months for a courtesy car (They only have one courtesy car) to which I’d had enough. The turbo was now going into safe mode when overtaking causing danger when driving. They recommended I take this to a garage, once I threatened to ask for my money back but little did I know this would be the last contact. They were not bothered or interested. After sales is dreadful. They fill you with rubbish of they pride themselves on good feedback and give 1 months warranty. To gain an extra two months warranty your requested to leave to more positive reviews. I did but but never received my extra two months. I have now sold the car 6 months later for £800. Asked to speak to a manager and there are no managers to speak you. The receptionist ‘logs’ the call conversations whilst your on the phone and does not listen to what you say. My advice would be to buy direct from a dealer. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!!

Christine in response to Absolute disgrace!!!!!!!
Hi Is this company now called Roadstar as the postcode appears to be the same ? Thank you
Highlanders GB, previously known as Mega Car Mart, Spec Autos and 3 other different names. Avoid this place, sell cars that are guaranteed to have a fault! I used to work for this company and had to deal with the after sales customers and I know exactly how they go about things and how they treat customers! Once they take your money they do not care! If you are to buy a car from there take it out on finance as the company likes to stay nice with their finance companies and they will cover your back for 6 months. They constantly lie to customers about the vehicles and warranties, also they extend your warranty for you if you give them a good review so don’t let them good reviews fool you! Miss V.U who used to call herself Anna so people don’t expect to much from her once they find out she was the company director...is now running the Highlanders company along with stuck up and ignorant Mr D.U who is her business partner and the manager. I have so much more to say about this company so if you have any question regarding this company or Mega Car Mart please don’t hesitate to message me:) Victoria Franica.
Bought a car and 100% satisfied , No pushy sells men.
They sold me a car whit the steering rack broken and I have to spend 700£ to repair it! They don't reply to my email after I told them how much it cost to repair the car!
Please please please avoid MEGA CAR MART. I bought a Ford S-Max from them on 12th November 2018. After 12 weeks, the car broke down on the motorway. We just found out the gear box was gone .When I called them, they told me that when they sold the car to me it had no gearbox problem so that's non of their business.O took back the car to them and they said they will check what the problem is but I have to pay for the repair. Two weeks down the line they phoned me and said the repair cost was £2,220.After arguing with them, they lied to me that they would pay 20 percent of the figure. After a long struggle with them,I suggested to them that they go ahead and pay the 20% of 2,220 and I will take the car to a garage of my choice and I will sort out the rest of the amount. My car disappeared from their car yard and they took it to unknown place for repair without consulting me.Later i was sent an invoice of £ 1,850 .At this point you will never see the Sales people or the manager of they have one.You will always deal with a receptionist lady. The invoice they sent me was accompanied by a letter stating that i only have less than 5 days to sort the amount of else i start incurring storage costs of £30 a day.At long last i decided to do away with them.Went to pay them and when I requested to test drive the car,I was told i can only do that after settling the amount. Buy a car from them at your own Risk. They will tell you everything you want to hear.DON'T BE TEMPTED.They know how to look and talk professional.KEEP OFF.Warranty is non-existent.

Purchased Audi A6 when viewed the dpf light flashed and was promised the world and that it had been Audi main dealer........ Three months later and we have been in limp mode since purchasing it and still dpf light still on. this place is a scam do not trust them. Never get back to you. Never seen anyone in charge or heard from anyone.
Went over on Sunday 28th may to look at a red fiesta for there to find it was covered in dents and had a Miss fire! When asked if they could fix the miss fire for the following weekend as we wanted the car they said no it wouldn't be a priority as more important cars would go first?! But Patrick wanted us to give him a deposit on the car? Walked out in the end as the customer service was shocking and all he was interested in was ripping people off! Luckily I took my husband (a mechanic) with me to look at the car! Not impressed at all with the company and Patrick!
Very nasty arrogant and disrespectful trader avoid at any cost I needed a car but it took me two minutes to find out that I can not do business with this dealer.
I bought one car from Coventry Car Mart... over the market price... was ok until i sigh the paperwork. Now when i start the engine start very badly... I go to them to fixed with that one month warranty and they try to say anything but never will say that they will fixed.
We bought a 4x4 for £10,220 from MEGA CART MART COVENTRY. Less then 24 hours later the car window wouldn't wind down, the door wouldn't open, the car made an awful juddering when accelerating, the air conditioning pump was broken, the cruise control and heated seats did not work. We informed them the very same day and they gave us the impression we could take it to a garage, get a quote and then have the garage of our choice fix the problems. We did so, it took a while for MCM to respond ,but when they did they then said they were not liable for these faults and that when we purchased the car it was not advertised as having air conditioning or cruise control and refused to fix any of the above problems, we rejected the vehicle on the 30th day of warrenty and they refused to take it back as it wasn't a "major fault" in their opinion even though the car was practically undrivable by this point After weeks of arguing and having to get solicitors involved, MCM told us we would have to bring the car back to them to fix the problems. They refused to recover it,So we made the 400 mile round trip, with a car that wouldn't drive over 40mph, and we left the car with them for OVER A MONTH. when we finally went to pick the car up, we were told that they had changed a fuse and that had stopped the juddering, also fixed the cruise control and heated seats (what a fuse!) replaced the faulty door mechanism and the electric window switch. We paid £200 for a second hand air con pump which they fitted but that was only as a "gesture of goodwill" as air conditioning wasn't advertised as a feature on the car. We were told the car had been to a main dealer to be reprogrammed, that's why it was taking so long to get the car back, however we later found out that they " had a good working relationship with the main dealer and been told how to reprogram the car over a phone conversation" As soon as we hit the motorway the dreaded juddering was back worse then ever, again the door the wouldn't open . What happened after this, was months of costly legal battling with this company, they told us to take the car to a main dealer, and then were not happy with their diagnosis and asked us to pay again to take the car for a second opinion. At this point we got another mechanic to look at the car, he found the problem was the air flow sensor, not a faulty fuse as previously we were told. We also found out that MCM stamped the service history booklet as having had the fuel filter and air filter changed, but on investigation NEITHER of these things had been changed for what "looked like years" ( mechanics words) the door mechanism was not a new part, merely CABLE TIED and botched, the electric window was temperamental and wouldn't wind up/down, sometimes it would, more often would go down but not back up. The car was disaster from the very second we drove it out of the forcecourt, the juddering issue meant the car was undrivable for 3 out of 6 months, the after sales care team were dismissive and their 30 day warranty stood for nothing. Of all the hundreds of calls made to this company, never once would a manager engage with us to solve any problems. Their way of responding was passing messages on through their receptionist, who was basically a puppet on a string. A simple query would take days before anyone responded as we could never speak directly to management, they point blank refused to deal with us personally. This company Do not care about their customers, nor do they care about where they purchase their vehicles, we later found out most are bought from auctions. Their after sale care team are obnoxious and conniving, Believe me, everything seems above board when you visit their showroom and are treated like royalty, however once they have your money they are uninterested in you, the car, or their promised warranty. Please, please, please avoid, they are a disgrace of a company and should be shut down, the stress it has caused us and the money we have lost is enough to send anyone over the edge DO NOT BUY FROM MEGA CAR MART COVENTRY
