We got our peugeot 5008 from hear good car good pre sales team. After care not brilliant. We have had no problem with car just a few administration issues. The car was going through a private plate change. When DVLA changed the registration I had to be very pushy to receive new plates as I could not drive with old private plate. Still waiting for logbook as well.
Bought car from them, they hide faults on the car and I found it after service and checking MOT history with VOSA. They hide all faults by printing another MOT in same month ! Case was send to Court ! If anyone had same problem and wanna attach his statement to court it will be amazing ! Send email to Zodjak2009 at gmail dot com
Think before buying a car from these guy's. They over priced me, lied about the cars condition. Basically I would have been better buying right off. Side of car had been filled with filler after being told it had no damage. No oil when drove off over heated and had major problems with car. They sold it me with alloys when got home it at standard Peugeot wheels that were too small. Doors were full of water. Endless problems. When rang them they lied and said the person that sold me car was not available. I sat out side and the sales men were all there. Lie after lie. Two years on I'm having major problems too scared to use car on motor way as still got oil leaks. To top it off the took out parcel shelf and never returned it telling me I'd have one in a few days. When I first seen car it had alloys parcel shelf in it. I did not get this car at a great price either. So think again before buying from Coventry Car Mart.

Please do contact me in regards car mart.
I was very happy with the service that I received by Coventry Motor Mart. The staff was extremely friendly.I would definately recommend the service that was provided to me by phone and face to face.
Purchased a large 4x4 from Coventry Car Mart, there was a warning lights on the dash, I was advised that the light was a cautionary thing because the car had been stationary for a time and a good motorway drive would clear it, needless to sat it never cleared, I rang them and they wanted me to return the car (300 mile round trip). I took the car to the main dealer for diagnostics, they advised the 4 wheel drive system was shot and it would be a 2k fix, I contacted them and advised of the issue, they wanted me to return the car which I declined and told them to collect. After a few weeks they provided another vehicle, the smallest car in creation, no tax no MOT. The car had a myriad of lights on the dash, I didn't care too much as the repair was a week, 4 weeks later the car still was not returned, the small car was in pieces and they swapped for another 4x4, within a week this car failed due to brakes locking up! They wanted me to deliver this vehicle back! Needless to say this never happened either, I asked for another replacement as I was going on holidays, they agreed to rent a car, this never happened (big surprise) then at 01.35am I had an unannounced knock at my front door with some Eastern European guys delivering another car! They were great and clearly just doing their job, when I started the car in the morning it was in complete engine failure! This was 9 weeks now, I insisted on the finance being unwound and it was, like another review when I checked the website my car was actually up for sale in their other outlet just up the road! They were selling my car that I still held all the paperwork for! If I had a bit of bad luck with my car then I would have put it down to experience but when you have had 5 cars from the same place, each one lasting less than 2 weeks I would assume that all they are doing is selling garbage to an unsuspecting public! Do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague.
Daughter bought a car from the Coventry Car Mart spending all her savings. It came with full MOT, BCA mechanical report, HPI check and serviced, also came with 3 month warranty. As always we were sceptical about purchasing from a used car dealership. Our first issue with the car was met and dealt with adequately. There were follow on problems with the same issue but after contacting them again it was dealt with promptly. I can say that we have been very happy with the follow on service we have received.
STAY CLEAR of Coventry Car Mart. We bought our first family car from these people a Vauxhall Zafira, with having a newborn baby in the car we told the garage we need something suitable for our 4 children and reliable, however that that wasn't the case with the car we bought. They sold the car to us with a fresh 12 months MOT. After 2 weeks we then had to be recovered home from AA with our 4 children because the car had dropped at the front. After being recovered home we had a garage come look at our car to tell us it had excessive corrosion and was told that there was no way this should have passed the MOT. Now after 8 weeks our car is still sat on our drive not drivable. Coventry car mart have said its nothing to do with them, so after contacting Trading Standards we are now going through them and so many different stages to either get our car repaired or refunded. Our by children are missing out on days out and we are now having to rely on family members to run us about. Stay well clear and I will NOT be recommend this place to anybody.

Bought a 54 plate Land Rover Discovery from these guys. The Auto Trader said it had, amongst other things: full history, MOT until the following year, telephone prep, two sets of keys - none of which it transpired existed/were true. The car had a few faults which they really should have found and not had me running back and forwards to get fixed, for instance a wiring loom fault affecting the air suspension, a big hole in the air-con condenser, a faulty brake pad wear sensor. They did eventually fix all of these, but only after some persuasion and a lot of inconvenience. However, the missing service history was my biggest concern, so using the sole MOT certificate I did have, I did a little detective work and managed to find the original owner - a hotel owner up on the very northern tip of Scotland. He told me the car had been very well looked after by him (recent new turbo, lots of other bits - all later confirmed by a trusted mechanic), but that given the remoteness of where he lived he had not main dealer maintained the car and there WAS NO SERVICE HISTORY. He also kindly sent me the spare key. Meanwhile, CCM were still trying to tell me the History was in the post... What a joke! Armed with this information about the faulse advertising I entered a claim against them and www.moneyclam.gov.uk for £2000 (15% of the retail value of the car for the missing paper work and the rest for the missing items from the advert). As a result of this they now have a CCJ against them. I then raised the CCJ up to a high court writ and used "The Sheriffs" high court bailiffs to extract what I was legally owed. Doing this is really easy and costs the person claiming very little. Trading Standards know CCM pretty well and have, I'm told, been trying to make them improve their standards of service. However, reading the reviews here I suspect they still have a long way to go. I also suspect many of the positive reviews have been added by CCM themselves as they all read like they were written by the same person. Best avoid if you can, but say hello from me if you see them.
Bought a car from Coventry Car Mart. Told it was 07 plate as had private plate on it. Later found it was an 06 plate. Told the service history was in post. Nothing for 6 months. Blanked calls and told me it was off site. Told me he taxed it. And was in post. Rang DVLA no tax. Car had loads of faults and I have a 6 month old and 18 month old child. £14000 on a terrible car. Feel like I have been ripped off. Should of know when I also seen another customer in there returning his car after 5 days. STAY AWAY FROM Coventry Car Mart.
As others I have had problems with this outfit. Seem to think that by not answering e mails or the phone problems will go away. I bought a Honda Legend which was described on AA cars as being in very good condition which it most definitely was not. However it had full service history so I figured the cosmetic problems were worth ignoring. I love the car as a car but faults with the AFS system were almost immediately apparent. Informed them no response informed would take legal action again no response. Have now instigated a money claim, avoid at all costs as if you have a problem with your buy you are ignored
