Sold my hubby a car (Citroen DS3) that was dangerous after telling him it was ok. Always asks for cash even though he has a machine. Always complaining about people especially women drivers. Went for MOT needed advisories doing but he said they weren't needed, took to MOT to be told we had failed due to advisories and other small things. He mended other stuff but left advisories again, MOT man said has he done them we said no ! he said they need to be done asap so we took back and I told him I was not happy as my hubby needs car for work. He mended what was needed eventually. My hubby has called today for him to look at his clutch and he refused and was rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE !! rude and sarcastic old man if he is not happy he should retire simple as.

bought a car in january 2 week later the car started developing faults tuck it back he was not intrested in helping at all. verry arrogant no time once hes had ur money he doesnt want to no. gave me warrenty wise for 3 month still didnt want to no said hes not VAT registered so he carnt do there repairs so why offer it with hes cars people please dont use this garage looking at the reviews im not the onli person with problems if onli i would av read them before buying the car learn from ir mistakes i suppose, RIP OFF GARAGE

I took my car there to fit new brakes and change a headlight bulb, they didn't put the back of the headlight cover on properly and it came off and jammed into the fan!!! The car overheated and could have been written off because of these useless people, they denied it was there fault but then admitted what they had done after asccusing me of lying, and then told me not to go there again, as if i would anyway. Rude and incompitent, that go's for both the owner and his son.

Crossgates Motors sold us car literally covered in dog hair. They knew the car was coming to a family with a new born and tbh the car was generally clean but when driving it home then realising the car smelt like dogs... to a closer inspection and looking in the boot, under the mat in the boot and under the seats there was SO MUCH dog hair literally never seen anything like it in my life. There was also a car mat in the driver side only, when removing it to try clean away the dog mess it revealed big hole in the upholstery, Things shouldn’t be covered up to this extent in the event of a sale, a sale should be honest showing all positive and negatives about the car. The car has been professionally valeted by myself and I’ve even paid for somene to clean the upholstery and there is still dog hair in every nook and cranny. I feel it’s wrong for them to sell such a smelly n hairy car to a family with children and a newborn it should have gone to another pet owner or they should have been honest and said as they would have sold the car anyway. I would defo not buy from here again. Please thoroughly check the cars you buy from Crossgates Motors.

I travelled over 150 miles to view the car I saw on the Crossgates Motors website, when I got there the owner was really helpful and I ended up getting more for my car as px than he said he would give me, had the new car for a few month now, no problems at all, so thanks for a great car and excellent service, would recommend to anyone wanting a good deal and car.
