I brought a Peugeot 208 from Jonty at CSG in August with a fresh MOT (only advisory was some pitting and scoring on the breaks). Within weeks the car had various computer faults and irregular noises. After taking it in the CSG's garage (meaning I had to take time off work) it was noted that the Top Mount's had eroded. I was also told I would have to take the car to a Peugeot dealership to get the computer fixed. After advising Jonty that the car was under warranty and that I had owned it a little under a month I was suddenly told that CSG could replace the Top Mounts & not to worry about the computer. Then the car began makings 'Squeaking' noises. This is because CSG had replaced the Top Mounts with ill fitting ones and was causing friction between the rubber. When I took this back to CSG they noted they couldn't hear the noise. After I filmed it and showed them they suddenly said it was a 'normal' noise and not to worry about it.....? A couple of months later I had noticed that the exhaust had dropped, again I took this to CSG who had said the hanger brackets had broken due to "rust and corrosion" - When I discussed this with Jonty that I am still under warranty and that the damage could not happen after I had owned the car for 3/4 months I was told that it was due to "wear and tear" and that I had to pay the bill. When I raised my frustration with the car and that I had asked to exchange it multiple times during this process & that CSG were in breach of that Consumer Rights Act of 2015 I was told by Jonty "This car has not constantly failed, you had had a noise from the suspension which they have fix for you, if you wish to raise a case with them, that’s down to you" To buy a car and to have so many issues happen in such a short period of time, to then have someone try and gaslight you has been truly outstanding. I do not understand how Jonty sleeps at night, he is one of the lowest of the low. As a side note CSG are not signed up to the The Motor Ombudsman - which is s sure sign that this kind of event has happened many times before.

Having bought a Pre-owned Toyota from Chalfont St Giles Motor company two years ago and being very happy with my purchase, I continue to be impressed by the service they offer. They are friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. I look forward to they day when I could make another purchase from them.
My car was booked in for its first service and 2 minor faults. One being the number plate surround which I asked to be replaced (at full price) due to Lease plan sticking an orange sticker that I had to scrape of leaving scratch marks. The other fault is the Tyre pressure warning system which needs resetting every other time I drive the car. They carried out the service and wrote "number plate surround checked and OK" and also Tyre pressure warning system fault not present. I now have to take my car to another garage to get the fault sorted and the number plate surround even though I explained the reason for changing it and phoned 2 days prior to my service to check they had the surround part ordered. Following the service my car came back filthy and was told they didn't have time to do the standard courtesy clean but I can take it back sometime next week and they'll clean it for me. Overall service is a complete waste of my time as I now have to spend another day working from home whilst my car is taken to another garage.

After having trouble with my part exchange Chris and Jason were very understanding with my situation and have delt with my decision professionally and have given me a chance to take a bit more time in picking the car of my choice. Thank you guys.
CSG Motor Company are dishonest car dealers, they sold me a 2015 car for full market price, they told me everything was o.k. with the car and that I am getting a good value. When I brought the car to Toyota I was told that the car has a sever rust problem. I called CSG and was told that my car has passed it MOT and therefore there is nothing wrong with it and they won’t do anything about it. Stay a way from them at any cost.

I would 1000% recommend CSG Motor Company to anyone, I have dealt with these guys on numerous occasions from Servicing to Repairs and the Customer Service is 2nd to none. Great friendly team and get the job done timely and efficiently.
Having recently bought a car at CSG Motors in Chalfont I received excellent service and am very happy with the purchase. Great quality and price. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
