Unfortunately i didn't see these reviews and i bought a car from them under their new name. Car was a write off and i found out the hard way when i tried to sell it. Only way for me to sell it without scamming someone the same way i was scammed was selling it back to them for a ridiculous price. I did not mention the scam in fear they would not buy it to avoid legal repercussions ( i really needed to sell the car as i was leaving the country in a week). Had to chase them to get the money for the sale and they were so sketchy about it. Made me really feel uncomfortable.

Went to buy a motor from Cumbernauld car sales.It all started off so good.I purchased said motor,30 day warranty.Within the first two weeks I had it back to them.Minor problems,which they fixed.On my last visit,two days before the warranty ended there was an electrical fault,I also informed them about the brakes squealing.Guess what ,I was told they are ok.End of warranty,and guess what.The brake noise is even louder.It is now going to cost me to have them repaired.So please be wary when using this company.It starts off good,then the problems start.
These people, had me in tears, I was on my own, scared and still am! I’m still within my right to take the car back! I asked to change the car, as the brakes had not been fitted properly and the clutch was about to go, I was told both off these thing where fine, and whoever looked at the car did not know what they where talking about! and as I had damaged the car it would cost me an extra 800 pound to even exchange! But by that time I was just to frighten to say anything! I just said ok I will just keep it! Tears rolling down my face and visibly shaking! I wonted to phone the police but I just couldn’t think what I would say! They didt threaten me or anything, I felt threatened, but I’m not sure that counts, I was definitely robed off 3900 pound, There was no Gun, but I definitely felt the shot! These people are dangerous!!! , they have already been closed down in 2018 ! they are still advertising on GUMMTREE!! EBay! And loads more sites! This is 2024! WHY HAS THIS BEEN Allowed? What on earth am I meant to do now! how can our government, police, trade & standards , Glasgow Council allow this to carry on? Please tell me?

my son bought a car from them before christmas,the engine and gearbox mounts collapsed ( within the so called warranty period ) because the bolts had not been tightened properly, only then we discovered the car had been an insurance right-off ,had to pay £120 to get it uplifted and towed back they then told us to leave it parked in the train station car park, ( so no one could see it lying at their cumbernauld showroom with the gearbox and engine hanging down ) stalled my son through not getting back to him then tried to get hold of the sales man ,impossible, i sent him an email telling him i would contact the ministry of transport and get all his cars checked ,he then panicked and said he would fix it,took over 3 weeks to fix it,then discovered the only thing tat stopped the gearbox and engine was that it jammed between the steering rack and radiator,which damaged the radiator and steering rack,he only fixed the radiator and did,nt tell us about the steering rack after "fixing it" the car would,nt go into gear,took it to a local garage ,paid aner £130 to fix ,a week later the two rear wheels locked,the brake shoes had broken up inside the hubs and the wheels would,nt turn , another £120 to get the car uplifted to a garage then £90 to get it fixed,thought we had fixed everything then in febuary 2024 my son was driving along the road and the steering went and my son veered over to the oncoming lane and crashed head on to an oncoming vehicle, the police came and he was charged with dangerous driving and the police did,nt believe him ,he appears in airdrie sherriff court on the 9th july,hopefully due to this website and trustpilot someone in court might listen, he also sreen-shotted all the whats app messages back and forth to cumbrnauald car sales as thats the only way to cantact the ,sounds dodgy so he done the sreenshots just in case of any denials,THIS COMPANY IS GOING TO CAUSE DEATHS,with their right-off repairables which arent even repaired properly,and by the way the front bumper was only plastic welded on to the car, not bolted,absolute criminal, why are they still alowed to trade,i checked the company on a gov,uk website many changes in ownership and all polish.

Cumbernauld Car Sales is complete fraud. Avoid buying vehicles from this dealer. I bought a Vauxhall Mokka from them on August 31 2023 which appeared ok at the time i picked the car. But the car developed serious engine problems before i drove it home. Cumbernauld car sales have been tossing me back and forth since them. They are con artist. I will be taking legal actions to get my money back no matter how long it takes. -Segun Nuga

Bought a car which was meant to have a years mot checked this and it’s not the case. The small sensor they needed to replace was actually a fail and have not replied to me. The bloke who sold me the car was disgusting when I spoke to him. Taking this further as you can imagine.

Talk to trading standards they are under investigation I took them to court and got some of my money back they have a few court appearances don't let them get away with it they are crooks and need closed down check Cumbernauld community page about them !!!!!
Husband bought a 2012 Chevrolet 7 seater, didn't even make it half way back to Perth before all power failed, company wouldn't collect it, RAC recovered and company said if he tows it back to garage they'll give full refund, argued with my husband nothing was wrong with it, got police involved as got out of hand, got partial refund and trying to get rest from the bank on fraud basis, car was advertised again the next day for 500 more!!!

I am at court in NOV started this case in March 2020 they have lied at hearings gave false names if you can give me some advice on your case we can work together and get these crooks stopped

I am in the process of court had two meetings both times said he would pay now at stage having to get sherrifs involved
Absolute rip off merchants, the cars they sell must have come from scrap yards because that’s all they are good for. Don’t believe a word the owner “Jack” tells you and the sales people would lie to a dying relative to sell a car. I use car in the loosest terms as these wouldn’t be fit to be used in a demolition derby. DO NOT USE.

Bought a car and it was meant to have mot. Advised a sensor needed replaced but it was a separate issue. Turns out it was on the mot so this is now a fail. Please email me as I will be looking to go to court. This is now Cumbernauld car sales?
Bought a car from here 6 weeks ago. Since then I have found out that they haven't sent v5 away. Lights on the dash from day I got it, took it to a garage and they said front suspension is hanging off don't know how it passed an MOT! Phoned up to get told that is isn't covered under warranty and that he didn't have time for this. Nothing but hassle I would avoid this garage at all cost!!!
