Bought a Rav 4 Diesel off Cumbernauld Car Company 3 week ago it is a 15 year old car on a 04 plate 5 door silver . Having had a few of these over years it will not win a beauty competition it got a few rattle and moans but what a expect from a 15 year old car Very happy with service and car Some times people need to be realistic when they buy a car for 2 or 3 grand you ain’t going to get perfection.

Bought a car from Cumbernauld Car Company, the following day it developed a fault. The warranty people would not repair it saying the fault must of been pre-existing, contracted the garage and found them to be obstructive and totally ignorant, basically they would not take responsibility. Then under the consumer rights act of 2015 I asked for a full refund. It took them 7 weeks to collect the car and now 5 months on I'm having to take them to court because they did not give me the FULL refund. £875 short.

Dont Trust! Cumbernauld Car Company are scammers and sell dodgy cars, I bought a car from here 4 weeks ago, the following day it started making a bad noise from the rear and warning lights came on. I took it to another garage and was told the light meant the dif had a fault, the other light meant a problem with suspension and how an earth it had been sold with the breaks the way they were. I took it back to the garage and was told the breaks were fine and the warning lights were just bad connections and then charged me £220 for a replacement wheel bearing ( I'd only had it a week) I then took the car to a proper vauxhal garage to diagnose the faults, turns out it was sold faulty with faulty diff and suspension also breaks are unroad worthy. The garage is not interested in helping and now have trading standards involved. I'd really recomend avoiding this garage!

When you look at the Cumbernauld Car Company advertisement on the website saying FSH ,and look at ticket on window of car ,saying the same ,asked the salesman for service records ! Surprise surprise he did not have them in office or in car .If I had known the car did not have a FSH ,I would not have wasted my time and money travelling from Lanark.poor show .I noticed tonight that the FSH bit has been taken of the website

Had a fault jake and paul was great took it back and it was repaired there and then great service will be going back for other car in the future would recommend Cumbernauld Car Company to all.

Bought a car from Cumbernauld Car Company and was very pleased with the service I received. Car showed a fault after a couple of weeks took it back expecting grief but it was taken in very efficiently and have now had it for a couple of months and running like a dream. Would recommend.
