Now Cumbernauld car sales I believe. Still scamming people with write-offs and cars loaded with problems. With impunity. Then close and reopen as something new. Pure scum .

Stay clear of these scumbags there currently getting investigated on a criminal aspect by North Lanarkshire trading standards !!!!! only after your cash won't give you proper information on cars will wait until 30 days warranty is up before sending off your v5 so you won't find out your car has been a write off TWICE ! wasted 8k cash on these twats ,

Oh good!! I mean really how many times does one business need to be reported to TS before someone sits there and gives it “hud on, something isn’t right here!”? My “fantastic family car” is dead in the driveway and I can’t take my family anywhere, including a poorly baby who needs to have open heart surgery soon! They have continued to ignore my emails and pleading for a refund! Absolute heartless weasels!! And we’ve still not received our V5….and thats been since October! I hope someone from that garage reads this and I hope that in another life you are the statue and I’m the pigeon!!!!!!!!
Do not under any circumstances buy a car from this bunch of cowboys, they are still trading June 22. My daughter (17) saved for 2 years to buy a car we thought we had a good car from CUMBERNAULD CAR SALES we paid £3,495 even though we took the car back within 5 days we only recieved £3.195 they said they would keep the deposit as costs were incured by them reported them to Trading standards so we will see if they are allowed to keep trading as the bunch of criminals they are. Do your selves a favour and don't go anywhere near the place.

Unfortunately you won’t get anywhere with TS being involved. They (those crooks) will just ignore all your emails/calls and messages and act like nothing has happened.
AVOID THIS SCAMMING, ROBBING COMPANY, PURCHASED A CAR FROM HERE UNBEKNOWN TO THE EXTENSIVE BAD REVIEWS AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT HASSLE TRYING TO EXERCISE MY CONSUMER RIGHTS. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO GET A SALE. THEY WILL ALSO LIE ABOUT FACTS YOU PRESENT TO THEM AND AVOID COMPLYING WITH THE LAW. SALESMAN LIAM IS A CROOK. NOTED PROBLEMS WITH CAR ON SALES INVOICE WITH A PROMISE IT WILL BE REPAIRED. ITS RECIEVED WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE A DODGEY MOT AND NO REPAIR TO THE FAULT WAS CARRIED OUT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE, AND YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THIS COMPANY IS A HIGH HIGH RISK. BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS. ALL CARS ARE UNDER SEALED WITH NO PROOF OR RECEIPTS TO WHO HAS CARRIED OUT THIS WORK. THIS ITSELF IS A MASSIVE RED FLAG. DODGEY DODGEY DODGEY. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!! REPORT SUBMITTED TO TRADING STANDARDS AND VOSA/DVSA.

Unfortunately you won’t get anywhere with Trading Standards being involved, we’ve all gone down that route. What we need is a united front and face them down as a collective. We have a poorly newborn, who is awaiting open heart surgery, and a dodgy unreliable car because of those weasels! This morning my car won’t start for the school run for 3 kiddies and a baby in tow! They genuinely don’t care who you are or the situation they leave you in, they are spineless cowards and pathetic excuses for human beings!
I bought a car at the beginning of February, it was scrapped by March. Failed turbo and oil leak from Cylinder head. Trading standards are looking into this. Avoid them at all costs, the owner told me to to do something anatomically impossible when I complained.

My mum has been scammed. We paid for a Renault megane Convertible 3 weeks ago and were assured they’d fix the glass in the drivers window that makes a terrible sound. We drive 200 mikes to pick it up after being told it was fixed. It’s not fixed so we have no money and no car and will be taking legal action. Email me on Mayagordon555@gmail.com. I think collectively we need to go to the media.
Couple of years back, son got a BMW from them Electrics were shot and had bare wires in the boot next to the battery. Car died and they weren't interested. Paid to have it recovered to them. The bodged it to have it running again, but was never the same Further electric issues after that, so got rid of it quick. Trading standards involved, but somehow they continue to trade?

Interested to know how you get on with Trading Standards, I'm in the same situation after buying a car from them.
This garage are still trading March 2022 I put a deposit on a car , after watching a video of the car there worker put his foot right flat to floor and smoke come from the rear I then decided not to go ahead , they have told me I can’t have deposit back as they put new timing belt on , which they say I asked them to do , this I did not ask for , they was ment to send me pics of the timing belt first so I could decide to have it done or not not a good garage I am afraid and would advise not to part with any money as you will not get it back

Total weasels the lot of them! You’d be better buying a motor off Del-boy down the pub!!!! I wish I could’ve picked a zero star review! Rude, arrogant, think they are above the law, dodgy cars, dodgy MOTs, misleading. They ignore your calls and emails. Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. They sell death traps! THEY ARE STILL TRADING. Trading Standards have a whole file just for them!!! Nothing phases them! Avoid like they’re your ex!!! Unprofessional, zero customer service & zero aftercare. Broken promises and they continue without a care in the world! Don’t waste your money or your time on these opportunistic but altogether just tragic and sad examples of men/a business!

Suzanne Simpson in response to Absolute Crooks!
Hi, I have just purchased a car from Cumbernauld car sales and on the drive home the power steering failed. I took it back for them to fix as I had the 30 day warranty. I recieved a call to say my car was fixed. Went and picked it up but on the way home, horrible grinding noises coming from the brakes. Phoned again once I was home. They went from being very pleasant to being quite nasty. Wanted me to drive it the 15 miles to their garage which I refused to do as I didn't think it was safe to drive. Said I'd happily take it to my local garage but they said they wouldn't pay, or pay for the vehicle to be recovered to them. Took it to my local garage anyway and they said it shouldn't passed its Mot with the amount of fails it had. I was really wondering whether you got your money back or car fixed , as the owner, Jack, has said that as we seen the car and were happy with it, then then I wasn't entitled to a full refund. Still in the process of dealing with this mob and left with a car I don't want to drive. Suzanne

No I have not heard anything from them, as usual, despite many emails. I am heavily pregnant with a poorly baby and have been left with a car that I do not feel safe driving, will not put myself or my children in due to fear. They (Jack and his clowns) do NOT care. They have shown no compassion, have failed to do the decent thing, can’t even bother their good for nothing backsides to answer an email! They have zero morals, zero empathy, zero sympathy and are just in it to make money! I offered to return the car, for them to pick it up, for me to take it to he re-MOTd but as soon as i mentioned this they ended comms with me and I’ve been ignored ever since. Contact from TS has made no difference either. How they are still doing business is beyond me! They have clearly sold me a death trap and don’t care that a pregnant woman and young children were in the car! They should be arrested for gross negligence/knowingly seeking faulty goods!
Sold a car that the next day was seriously leaking fuel, after arguing with the garage they agreed to repair it but said I had to drive it to them which I refused to do as the vehicle was unsafe. When I went to pick up the car they demanded £150 for the cost of recovering the vehicle as they deemed it driveable. Dodgy cars and terrible service . . . DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!
