I brought a Peugeot from here, the car was awful went back in the first week, I don’t do many miles less than 3,000 a year went for its first mot car had bold tyre down to the metal exhaust had been welded to the chassis awful first mot £700 contacted Whymans offered me £50 terrible service reported to trading standards by consumer advice centre

When I viewed the car on 28/03/18 the central locking didn’t work, but was told it would be sorted (maybe new batteries in the remote). When picking up the car on 31/03/18 with my partner (the car was for her) in the excitement forgot to check the central locking. I phoned the same day 31/03/18 when we got home and said the central locking was not working, I was asked to phone back on the Sunday 01/04/18 when Steve Wyman would be back from his holiday. I actually got back to them on the Monday 02/04/18 (we had family commitments on the Sunday. I was then told I could leave the car with them for a day to see if they could do anything! But if they couldn’t well that was that as it still works on the key. I was not prepared to do a four hour round trip twice with the attitude being if we can't fix it well that's it as the lock still works with the key. Seem nice people before you part with your money.

I was told by DJ Whymans Cars at 9.45 on Saturday morning that a car was still for sale and no one was looking at it, i said i was travelling from Bedford and would be 1 hour and 15 mins thats fine he said, i was literally in the street when i received a phone call which i didn't answer, i walked into the showroom and they looked at me and said we've sold it, totally unprofessional behaviour , imagine buying a car and having to take it back with a problem, take your business elsewhere were they deserve your custom.

If D J Whymans Cars LTD was that little bit better I would recommend them but because of the not so good aftercare I couldnt recommend them. I got a couple of issues with the Seat I bought of them which they knew what were but made me go and get the car checked. we came to an agreement that we would pay half each. Other than that it was good.

I bought a SAAB from D J Whyman Cars and I am very happy with everything! The service was very good and car was very clean and in good condition. There was an issue with the air con not working but the dealership repaired this immediately under the warranty. I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

I'd originally gone to a dealership just down the road from D J Whyman to check out a car and by chance spotted the same model at a cheaper price on my way home. The man at D J Whyman was incredibly easy to work with, he did all the leg work getting the paperwork in order and I'm very pleased with the car. I'm very glad I stumbled across their forecourt.

Not a pushy salesman at all. The bloke i dealt with at D J Whymans Cars was there to help me see what i wanted, teling me the pros and cons of the cars he had in stock, i didnt feel like i was being forced into anything, just there when i needed him which makes a big difference. In the end i went for a Vauxhall Zafira which im really happy with, even weeks after still no problems so would recommend them to anyone in the area and beyonfd to buy from
