I have always read reviews, and been influenced by them. So having read good reviews for DJ woodcock York, I took my car in for suspension replacement front. Whilst the car was being worked on I had a look to see how it was going. The mechanic / car. Sales guy had both front brake calipers hanging on their hoses no support, not a done thing if you know what you are doing. Anyway 2 hours later job finished. Day later clonking sound from front. Took car back, suspension refitted, told all was good. Not so Car back again week later . Told faulty part and was replaced. Car returned to me.On inspection both suspension units were the new originals.However clonking sound somewhat less. This mechanic should either sell used cars or concentrate on his mechanical work. Bad experience lied to about exchanging faulty parts, and bad workmanship. Not recommended for car repairs.

I bought a lovely Skoda Roomster from D & J Woodcock and just a week after, during the warranty period, an issue was identified with the front brakes; as I live very far from the garage I had to get the car fixed at a Skoda dealer near me; I then contacted D & J Wookcock to explain the situation, I provided some evidence and I am happy to share that they accepted to refund part of cost I incurred in to the parties mutual satisfaction. This is to say that not only when you buy a car from them but also when something doesn't go according to plan D & J Woodcock are willing to assist and look after their customers.

Bought a car from this dealership yesterday. Had called them Friday and they sent me a video of the car as we live an hour away. Placed a deposit on the car before doing to see it. I recently purchased a used vauxhall astra from D & J Woodcock and was a bit unsure about used car dealers after reading some reviews. I could not be more wrong in this case. I went to view the car in its "raw" state before preparation and zac assured me it would be as clean as any others on the forecourt when finished. He also said it would carry a full mot and service and even my concerns over the timing belt were addressed and it was replaced. We struck a deal which i was more than pleased with and collected the car which was as promised and no concerns.
