"5* Level of Customer Service"

Let me start by saying that it’s the easiest thing to write a mission statement and core values about extraordinary levels of excellence and customer service, it’s another to deliver them. DM Keith has done just that. I leased a car which DM Keith provided, there were issues at delivery, but DM Keith’s response has been nothing short of first class. Adele you have my thanks for delivering on the DM Keith promise of “treating customers fairly” and more. I believe the test of a business is when things go wrong for the customer; how do they respond and resolve issues. I cannot fault in any way the response and for this reason I would have no hesitation in recommending DM Keith. If I ever buy a car from the Leeds area, there’s only one dealer I am going to.

"Never deal with these disgusting people"

Never deal with these disgusting people and f*&king liars, so called 'family business run by liars' Put a deposit and Ian told me it is refundable, sales tactic. Explained my finances did not go through so had to abort my purchase. Chris the salesman is ignoring my emails and calls as I discovered afterwards. My trust in this company is gone and never recommend these bunch of cowboys, these salesmen are only after one thing! They come across polite and will suck up to you as much as possible and do not care about anything else. People be warned of these type of people and family run businesses. Dealerships might be slightly accommodating but NOT these guys. When I was honest about my situation, chris coudl not care at all. If I got my deposit back I would have respected them and would have bought a car at a later stage. On this basis they can go to hell. Lesson to learn, never ever give your deposit unless they send you confirmation in writing before you hand any money. If they do not do this then walk away! All those people i spoke to are all liars and thieves, taking deposit and not returning it.

Got a Skoda on Hire Purchase from D.M. Keith Bradford, and they've sold me a car which had a known design flaw in TSI engines prior to 2014. I am paying the car with interest in the vig. They have also taken around £3000 to repair the car based on a misdiagnosis, resulting in the fault of the vehicle not being resolved after paying them for the repair. According to their customer service manager that's life, and they do repairs based on a hunch - in this case, a £3000 hunch at mt expense, but yeah you know nevermind. Absolutely abhorrent business practices. They're also loath to return calls as well, especially if they can't be bothered with you. I was told there is nothing they could do. Here's a thought, give me my money back that you took not to fix my car, how about that then, and we'll call it even. On a separate issue, they put a warning on an inspection saying the timing belt needed repairing when the car was 8 years old. I'd had the car since it was 6 years old, so 2 years in my possession. I looked into it with another garage who told me that the timing belt should have been replaced between 5-6 years of use, meaning that the timing belt should have been replaced a year or at the time I collected the vehicle. When I pulled them up on this, they said that they didn't know whether the timing belt needed replacing or not, even though I still have a piece of inspection paper stating by them stating in red that it definitely needed replacing. They backpedalled and cover the cost of the parts, though asked me to cover the labour. Definitely some skullduggery going on there. Either it did need changing or it didn't, and likely should have been done before I took the car off their forecourt. Either they're just incompetent or dodgy as f**k.

"Ongoing betrayal of my good faith"

Having spent an unhurried few months waiting for exactly the right car to appear, at a dealership I had a good feeling about, I chose to do business with DM Keith at Bradford when the right car did turn up. My instincts have proven to be wrong. Apart from the scratches and damage to the car's bodywork, which were never highlighted to me during the purchase process (which eventually got resolved at the Leeds body work shop), I also discovered that I was never provided with what I assume is still called a log book. Subsequently I had to ask the salesman, Ian Cox, if a service was carried out on the day of purchase. Allegedly there was. There is no record anywhere of this, nor of the other annual service the car evidently had at some prior time. I had to find this out when I eventually got a reply at the 4th attempt, from DM Keith in York. I believe they only imparted this information because they smelled a service plan sale in the air. I am in possession of a quote for same, addressed to a wrong name! So, my good faith continues to be betrayed by DM Keith in Bradford. I have attempted to reach a manager, any manager, by email this morning. Watch this space. If I am furnished with the car's service and maintenance history, I'll update this review accordingly

"Bad attitude"

This dealership were not too happy that I had prearranged finance, had a pretty bad attitude about it. The lad who was dealing with me was alright though, as far as car salesmen go. The car did have a few scratched that I was unaware of but nothing major. I can't say I would recommend this dealership though as the service was not all there and because of their attitude about the finance.
