if there was a minus 5 star option id tick that. its not even worth 1 star. By far, these are the most cunning, deceiving and dodgy dealers in UK. brought a car (not stating which one due to identification) but it had issues with it from the second we took it from the garage. They have a excellent way of speaking utter nonsense in such sweet manor whilst ripping your pockets. They claimed to be AA aproved, but we all know thats a show. proper dumb dealers, never buy a car or trust their sweet manners. pure nonsense.
I bought a Ford Fiesta 2007 two years ago. During test drive the cover on the side mirror fell down. They said it was easily fixed. After having bought it and driving off the property, my friend spotted a rear light not working. They said it must have just broke and told me to get a bulb at Halfords. At home I discovered there was no pin to hold bonnet up. Also all tyres were worn of which two must be illegal. A garage near me confirmed the two tyres being illegal. I took the car back and said I wanted to return it since it not being roadworthy. They refused. After a dispute they promised to have it MOT’d and four other tyres. When I came to collect it, they presented a MOT certificate with pass, but the tyres were the same and they refused to give me other. I reported them to DVLA who MOT´d it. It was a clear fail. I had to make it roadworthy at my own expense. Stay away from that. dealer. The MOT certificates are not to be trusted.

I bought a car from d&g automotive, they wrote on the advert car has to be driven to be appreciated. However when I drove it home, pressing the brake pedal would jolt the steering wheel to the side. The car had no fuel in it and the engine light was on. Stay away from these scammers
I bought a car from D & G Automotive as I incurred a car accident; needless to say that I was desperate. My partner drove me two hours away to buy a car from these cowboys. They conned me into buying a road unworthy vehicle and encouraged me to go home in time to watch strictly come dancing. I drove this car in the rain and the windscreen wipers were not working properly. I prayed as I drove. The engine kept stuttering bad appeared like a break down was imminent on the motorway. As soon as I arrived home, I prayed to God, thank him for a safe return home. As untried to get back into the car, the driver door wouldn't open. I entered the car through the boot. As I out the key into the ignition, the car wouldn't start. It turned out that the engine was flooded; an information these crooks omitted when selling me the car. My mechab8c had tibtow the car to his garage and was I cred8bky dissapoinedd that I d8dnt consult him first, as there were cars fit for purpose in his garage. My mefhab7c told me to report to rogue traders. I called D and G the next day to request my refund but was informed that the car was now my problem. They laughed at me on the phone whilst I shouted down the rec8ever in frustration. My mechanic had to buy the car from me and have me another from his garage. It took my mechanic a week to de-flood the engine. These crooks will get their comeuppance one day, I guarantee it Now I will n8t buy a car without the presence of my mefgab8c or an RAC representative. Don't buy from these. You will be throwing your m8ney down the toilet.

I unfortunately purchased a car just over a year ago when Midlands sports and prestige were trading as D and G automotive. I’m driving home with the vehicle which I paid £7000 for I noticed that the car pulled to the left and the brakes were juddering on the motorway when I applied the foot brake. Thinking the car I’ve been standing for quite awhile and this could be the reason I decided to carry on with the journey and see whether the problem righted itself having been driven for a few days. It didn’t, so I rang them (James Diffey) And said I would get the problem sorted locally as they were 37 miles from where I lived which is what I did. Just about two weeks later the engine management light came on and advise there was a fault with the battery and also an engine fault. Diffey advised me to return the vehicle to them and he would put the diagnostics on it and get the problem solved. That was on the 2nd of June 2018 and I didn’t see the car again FOR OVER A YEAR!! After endless phone calls I was told initially that the fault was electrical, it was complicated, they had to send for parts from France, there was a hold-up there and finally the weeks are ticking by and I sought legal advice and was advised to reject the vehicle on the grounds that it was unfit for purpose and not of merchantable quality. I followed all the advice but Diffey was having none of it And just kept saying that I had agreed the repair and that is what I was going to get. After three months I decided to set the wheels in motion and take them to court. Diffey still maintained that the car was being repaired even after several months. In the meantime being without a car I had to borrow money to buy another one as I couldn’t be without a car. With hold-ups in the court system stating there was a lack of judicial staff, We finally went to court on the 7th of June this year. Amazingly and unexpectedly Diffey actually made the court appearance And lied to the court saying that he was never a partner in the business at D and G automotive and they had ceased trading last October and therefore I was suing the wrong person. This is an absolute lie because he was a partner in D and G automotive and he told me that he was now running a small workshop called Midland sports and prestige on the Stanton Road . Apparently this isn’t a workshop this is another car sales place and one of his partners in crime is Jed Davies Who along with Jake Davies have appeared in court on several occasions charged with selling scrapped motors to the unsuspecting public - Check out the old newspaper cuttings from the Burton newspapers. The only positive thing to come out of the court hearing is the fact that he did tell us where the car was that I haven’t seen for over a year . In fact it had been abandoned on a car park on a trading estate just rotting away and when we turned up after leaving court to our surprise Diffey had already got there before us and was waiting by my car. He denied having any keys for it although the vehicle was open and he told me that the car had been fixed not long after I had instituted court proceedings - he lied.....The car had never been fixed from the day I returned it to him on the 2nd June 2018, it cost us £120 to get it back to Birmingham on a low loader and almost £1000 to get it roadworthy. The fault it was returned to him with was still on the car when I picked it up over a year later. The judge whilst he said he couldn’t give me legal advice said that Diffey’s Defence was that none of it was anything to do with him because he was merely an employee of the company and the name he did give to the court that I should sue is a Russell James Martin but claims he doesn’t know where he is and hasn’t seen him since October last year. I don’t believe any of this because I am in touch with other people and IF Martin exists although some people think he is the one and the same person as diffey, And that if there are many people trying to get money back from them they probably have no chance and you just have to join the queue. Conmen who operate businesses like this probably have nothing in their name and they know how to hide any money so for the poor unsuspecting victims of their crimes they just carry on getting away with it and when things get too tricky they just close the business down set up again under a new name down the road . This whole sorry business counting everything up including the cost of the original car the repairs I had to get done myself and the court fees now amount to £9000, that’s without the £7,000 loan o had to take out to buy another car. I sold the car just a couple of days ago for a massive loss for a little over £2000. You have been warned and if you value your money and your mental health and stress levels do not have anything to do with Midlands sports and prestige or any of the people who are in partnership with them or you could end up like a growing army of us who have been scammed .

Brought a car from D&G Automotive which was not fit for purpose - a year later (and the car being sat from the day after purchase) after going back & forth, winning the court case to find they had changed name & place to Midlands Sports & Prestige, Trying to obtain the money has been difficult. Bailiffs have been sent round & now Can't pay we'll take away getting involved. They have tried to get away with it by saying they have resigned as directors of this company not knowing that the court case was before so are still liable. They have also lied by saying Jed is not there and is not known to have been there in the past. Very clearly from these awful reviews & even a youtube video proves they still work there. Jed started as D3 Burton Vehicle sales and they were selling dodgy vehicles, which saw them in court with 10 charges against them with things like selling CAT D cars as mint condition and alike, coming to a cost of £19,500 being paid out. Do not buy anything from these crooks.

Andy I bought a car from this fools after an accident that I incurred; fair to say that one as incredibly desperate. These cowboys sold me a car that had a flooded engine and were encouraging me to leave with the car, in time to watch strictly come dancing. As my hone was 2 hours away, it was an arduous process driving home in the dark. The windscreen wipers were not working properly and it was raining. As soon as I arrived at home, I came out of the car and started thanking God for a safe return, only to find out that I couldn't get back into the vehicle. I had to enter the vehicle through the boot. I put the car key in the ignition and the car wouldn't start. The next day, my mechanic towed the car to his garage and told me that this car was supposed to be in the junk yard, as it was dangerous to drive on the road. He further encouraged me to report D and G to rogue traders. I called D and G the next day to request my refund and was told that it wasn't their problem; hence, I bought the car and I had to deal with the consequences. I was stranded without a vehicle for a week before my mechanic bought it from me and have me a better car to drive. They will mess up with the wrong person and get their comeuppance on day Andy, I promise you that.

Hi Andy I bought a car from these crooks back in June 2020 (under MSP their new company). I was told after paying the full amount at the showroom that the vehicle still needed an MOT and they would deliver it next week. I stupidly agreed. They have stolen the money and am yet to receive the car. According to Companies House, MSP was dissolved in November of last year I'm looking back at some of these comments to try understand my next steps/ how to put a stop to the cycle Did you ever get your money back from these guys? Thanks James

If you imagine all the stereotypes of a used cars salesman, you get D & G Automotive. They try to apply typical sales pressure techniques, talking waffle on a car they obviously know nothing about. Sadly I needed a car so drove away with one. However after engine mangement lights coming on, they have NO interest of caring about the customer service after they have the money. There technical knowledge is non existent, being unable to tell the difference between air con run off and a coolant leak, after getting under the car to show them wrong, what was I offered for it? A bottle of steel seal............ Seriously take your money else where, some of their cars on the forecourt won’t even pass an MOT.
D & G Automotive are now trading as Midland prestige and sports...Stay Away..No after sales at all..I have had to spend over £2000 on car because they not interested..Lies lies and more lies

D & G Automotive is a company that does not care about customers. They sell lies and do not respond to the phone after the 14 days have passed. I'm very sorry I was messing with people like them.
