Please please please don’t not buy a car off this people! I brought a BMW 3 series off Daniel Maxwell on 28/05/21 . During the sale proceedings they were very easy to negotiate with , but that’s where the pleasantries stopped. Within 2 days of buying the car I noticed a flat tyre which seemed to have been covered up on the day I arrived to pick up the car , but I thought these things happen so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt with a new tyre costing me £185.00 After getting the car home I checked the on board computer to find the oil measurement function would not work, so I paid for a diagnostic test at my local Halfords which found a faulty oil sensor. On contacting the garage they refuted this claim telling me a sensor was fitted before I brought the car and would not pay for any work to be carried out even thou I had a six month warranty with them. Further discussions with Daniel himself he requested me to take the car to “one of his guys” who is a BMW specialist back in Manchester and I live in Staffordshire. When I enquired about my warranty it was dismissed, and also when I asked for a copy of the invoice for the oil sensor which was apparently fitted before me purchasing the vehicle I was promised a copy of this but it never arrived and further requests were ignored! Also I pointed out to Daniel it it is a faulty oil sensor and one that had just been fitted it would be under warranty and would be at no cost to the garage but still Daniel would not agreed to pay for the work to be done and was very aggressive in his manor. In the end I’m the space of a week I spent over £500 on the car I had brought in good faith. Please please please do not buy a car of these people they are cowboys and tell lies on top lies to get you money and are a leach on society and take advantage of trusting members of the public.

I've had the car a good month now and it hasn't missed a beat. More than happy all round, from the sale to driving the car. The salesman was no nonsense, not pushy and was more than willing to attend to a couple of very minor issues I had. The car was competitivly priced with similar throughout the UK. As a local business that has looked after Daniel Maxwell Car Sales phones & computers it really pains me to leave a negative review, On 07/11/17 I purchased a 59 Fiat 500 1.4 sport £4400 for my daughters 18th birthday, the 3rd car I have purchased from this garage, I believe in loyalty, on the previous 3 occasions I have not been part-exing a vehicle. Fast forward 11 months the car has covered 2500 miles during my daughters ownership, she is now living away at university and my wife's car is now getting old, an 04 Audi a4 purchased from here, we decided we would purchase a newer car to be used by my wife & daughter. It made sense to go back to someone that had we had dealt with previously and knew the car in question, my wife and daughter went to see them 07/10/18 and were offered £2500 a huge drop of £1900 so either the car was over valued when we bought or they like to rip you off. webuyanycar value the car at £3105 and Evans Halshaw at £3550, buyer beware if dealing with these guys, very poor!!
