Good service at first but as they say true colours appear when there’s a problem. Paid £23,500 for a car. You would expect it not to vibrate when driving. Car was faulty. Realised this on the 200 mile journey home. Initially spent £180 and hours of my time trying to repair it using local garages myself but to no avail. (I shouldn’t need to do this but I did). Called David and explained the situation. He was no help to begin with. After a while he Reluctantly agreed to take the vehicle back on the condition that I drive it back over 200 miles at my own cost! I feel this was just a ploy to avoid taking the car back. When I refused he started to ignore me. Avoid at all costs. If your car has an issue he will not help. I have begun legal action through my solicitor. At this point it’s more a matter of principal. Buy from a main dealer instead people! Don’t be fooled by his ‘charm’. Typical salesman.

Hi I have just read this review in disbelief, I have know David Wren for a number of years and in my opinion have always found him to be a decent honest person. Regarding his car dealership, he has always given us the best service & value for money with his quality cars, for myself & members of my family & several friends that have also purchased from him. His after sales service has been superb. I will no doubt use him again when the time comes & would recommend him to anyone..

Part time dealer that sells you a car if he wants and will waste your time if he doesn’t.
I have had a first class service from David Wren Cars, I will definitely use again and have no qualms in recommending this dealer. Would like to thank him for an excellent service.

We have just brought a BMW from David Wren Cars, and I am writing this review to let others know it was a pleasure to do business with him. the car was as described, nothing hidden unlike other dealers. The transaction was smooth. His communications were very good. This is good old fashioned quality of service, and something other dealers should aspire to be. thank you David if we are in need of another car we will come straight back to you.
Have Purchased my second Car Now From David, and recommended 1 member of my family and 2 friends, all of us have been so happy with our vehicles, David is so helpful it really does not feel like dealing with a car dealer but a friend, like any used car I have had small niggles but David simply goes out of way to assist, I simply would never buy a car anywhere else, nor would my family.
Very poor experience with David Wren Cars bought a Mercedes form him back in April. There were lots of issues with the car including the engine management light coming on and faulty glow plugs. The service and after care was terrible and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

This is the only negative feedback I have ever received in 27 years of business. The customer financed this vehicle with Zero deposit Finance (which tells the story). An Exhaust sensor failed and Phoned me complaining that he could not afford to fix it and could not afford a warranty, so without question I offered to give him my own car to drive whilst fitting a new sensor, customer still refuses to purchase a warranty, I Still have not even received a thank you for Delivering his vehicle back to his work address, I also fitted New Brake Discs as the customer complained of a Wheel Wobble (which I nor an independent MOT Station could not detect) The Finance company have been given all documents and schedule of events, and they have praised me for going above and beyond, all documents and schedule of events are free to view by anybody at any stage. All of my customers reading this will confirm this is how I conduct myself, ABOVE AND BEYOND.
