Over the past several years I've found myself avoiding mercedes of derby and finding more customer centred service centres. I've never found them all that helpful, after my second service there I noticed the car become sluggish, when I questioned this the lady I spoke to asked if I drove the car in sports mode 'too often'...? And every discussion after that was her attempt to tell me it was how I drove the car... Recently the adblue system has failed in my car (under 30k miles on the clock but over 4 years old) so this is more of a niggle on my part.. but they want to charge me a hefty sum to diagnose the issue twice that of very reputable competitors, I feel they missed a beat hear and had the opportunity to diagnose for a more reasonable price and then charge me for the repair.... But being that the car is well under the warranty milage (4 years or 50k) I'm sure they could have been more agreeable about the whole thing. Then in general there is just after care... Trying to contact them via their online system... You have little chance of getting a response, I even drove there once and was told to book the service on the app.. rather than speaking to the lady on the reception desk.. Just not worth putting money in their pocket.

Terrible customer service, bought a brand new car in April from Jeremy and James which was delivered with a couple of scratches on one of the rear lights, have sent numerous emails with photos as requested over a dozen phone calls which I'm always told they are not their desk when they here my name. Promised they would return my call but NOTHING and it's now 8 weeks later.

Contacted Mercedes to make an appointment to view and test drive a car Chris rang me back to say the car I wanted to view was out and would be back on Saturday so made an appointment for 10.00 on the understanding that Chris would ring me on Friday before close of business to confirm Guess what he did'nt ring even though he'd put it in his diary Saturday morning I get a call at 10.10 asking me if I was on my way !! Couldn't believe that he expected me to turn up not knowing if the car would be there I told him I'm no longer interested and his answer was "no problem" What a way to run a business with staff like that
Contacted dealer as interested in purchasing E Class Estate. I gave all my details including all the information regarding my present car and was promised a call back. Later the same day I received a call saying that they would need to speak to the sales manager and would call me the following day. A week later I am still waiting clearly they do not want my business. I should have known better as I previously purchased a new Polo GTI from another Branch for them to only fill the engine half full of oil at the first service and despite me leaving instructions for them not to clean it they did It took them three months to resolve the issue and that was by another company completely buffing and detailing the whole car
