Wow, I don’t really know where to start here?? I had to ask myself is it possible to receive such an awful service from a BMW center in UK and unfortunately for me yeah you can in Dick Lovett Bristol branch. I will try to sum it up in quick. We bought approved used BMW from Vertu in Bridgewater . 4 weeks later car just stopped in the middle of the road without any warning lights , we nearly avoided accident with kids in the car as car behind us couldn’t see us properly without any lights. Only thing that worked in the car was SOS phone. Lady was very helpful, explained that recovery vehicle will come and try to fix it if not they will take car to our closest BMW centre. Unfortunately to us happens to be DL Bristol. Way we were treated from centre was just so awful and beyond any standards that I can’t find words to describe it. One of the lady from the reception told my wife if you by a TV and your remote doesn’t work you won’t send your tv back . Still can’t believe she said that , I was embarrassed for her. Car had few different problems, (dead battery , faulty FEM etc) they didn’t want to investigate the car main problem unless someone authorised new batterie etc.. It was constantly me who needed to call and ask for update. Eventually had to involve BMW UK , the biggest problem was why bring car to us when bought in Vertu group, that’s how they made us feel. Especially lady called Melissa, if she isn’t at work there isn’t anyone who apparently can help. I called today ask for manger or someone lady answered to me he is in Peru on holiday. On a top of all of it when everything after 4 weeks ( hopefully) got fixed I said I come and collect my car and would like to meet Mellissa in person I have been told that she is in till 5pm and will be there , when I came to my surprise it was young gentleman on a desk but Melissa had a family emergency. Funny that l!!! She couldn’t face customer as she knew how she treated us !! BMW UK sent me an email saying that service manager Josh Cooper was taking my case , and you expect you get courtesy call etc , no way don’t be silly . It’s just beyond me that when every industry fighting for every customer, guys from Dick Lovett unfortunately don’t care at all . They even didn’t help me with finding my hire car , I had to google that myself, they could have just given me roadside assistance cover tel number and I could do it myself but no that was to much to do . Do apologise for long review however if you are buying approved used BMW and bringing it back to Dick Lovett prepare yourself for a difficult adventure. I give them 0/10 . Samir Hadzigrahic

Absolutely disgusting service. Had a car in for a bmw recall. Did the recall, killed the car, made owner wait for 1 hour in show room, explained they DIDNT have the right bmw software to Sort the car. Ended up having a courtesy car till they fixed it. They explained to was fixed, drove off the garage floor, to then have engine management lights come on. Rear light failure, drive chain fault. Admitted fault on phone, said it’s not a coincidence, booked car back in after they said they would fix it, to then be told they won’t fix it as car is old, no phone calls explaining, went back on their word. How can a car go in near perfect with their own health check to prove this, to then drive away with continuous faults! Car drove PERFECT before these conartists had the car. DO NOT USE! Avoid having any work done on your BMW with this garage. Disgusting service, will continue to try and get money back and work carried out.
Right from the first call from the sale executive in regards to my initial enquiry the service has been first class, Extremely Professional and very personable which made the whole experience faultless. Having worked in manufacturing Operations for many years ( Retired) I know full well the importance of first contact with a potential new customer! I must add Ben Ferris-Pulsford who was the sales representative for Dick Lovett was exceptional and I can only say thank you for the courtesy extended to me “Thank-You Ben” …

It would take me to long to write this review so in summary I will never buy another vehicle from BMW Cribbs Causeway Bristol (Dick Luvett) Very poor service, terrible communications, too many re-calls, huge labour costs £150 per hour (airline pilots get less) and pretty poor attitude all round.
Had my car serviced today at Dock Lovett Bristol. Ryan was very very helpful and he gave very good advice on the questions I raised.

Car went in for recall purpose. After 3 hours happened to be looking at the stock and noticed my car. Told staff member who said 'no its still on the computer' I said i would go and check staff member came with me and yes it was my car. Staff went to check yes it was finished and apologized. I went to get in to my car and there was dirty oily hand marks on armrests and steering wheel. beige carpet oily foot prints, Really not happy there was a halfhearted attempt at cleaning which I had to redo and thoroughly clean carpet when I got home. BMW sorry but never again

Travelled 400 miles to get a really good deal. I got an excellent trade in price, and bought a beautiful series 4 BMW, with a low mileage and a one owner car My wife and I, were treated very well by Hassan and the staff, who were very professional and efficient. I would like to thank you all for being so kind.

Will not attempt to summarise my experience as complicated but, suffice to say, was extremely disappointed with their response and would definitely not use Dick Lovett BMW ever again.
Car was there for an MoT. Received a call saying it would fail on rear pads and disks. I knew rear pads were low (3 ish mm) but the car is doing <1k pa at the moment so they’re still fine. Rear disks had a lip of approx 0.5mm. Service “advisor” was insistent it would fail an MOT. I asked her to put it in writing to confirm it would fail before I authorised work. This didn’t happen of course. Didn’t hear back next day, so assumed they were putting it through. Left a few messages, no return call. Called the next day and was told they were waiting for rear brakes and they service advisor was off sick. So I said I’d collect the car snd take it elsewhere. Miraculously I received a call back within 30 mins saying it had passed its MOT with the rear pads being an advisory. DL Bristol just seem to have become a disingenuous company and they’re not interested in doing what’s best for the customer, it’s just sell sell sell. If I hadn’t challenged them I wouldve had a £600+ bill. Wont ever return, why would I when I know I can’t trust what they’re saying when it comes to work required.
