I have spent the best part of £120,000 with Dick Lovetts over the last year and was treated the same way... Interesting how a so called luxury dealership in Bristol can treat it's customers. I too will be passing the warning around to people I know, who I am sure will do likewise. Dick Lovetts had my car in for a week to diagnose 8 faults. During this time apparently they could only get one fault to occur the others were basically non existent. However when I turned up to collect the car, one of the issues I had was clearly visible. The story I was given when I mentioned it was complete rubbish and basically I was being branded a complete time waster in not so many words. After collecting the car I noticed that there was oil smeared across my seats and in the door pockets/handles. There was also a fresh scuff mark on the rear wheel arch! I contacted 2 managers with my concerns but not one was prepared to contact me back, even after 2 emails were sent again!. It was only when I copied the head of business in that I received a response (funny that!) Only to be told that the dealership hand't caused the oil marks and the scratch on the side was not them, it must have been me! I didn't even have an apology, nothing! Immediately it was my fault, which seems to be this garages answer to everything. I have since applied for rejection of this vehicle as many of the faults still occur but have been told there is not justifiable reason to do so! Videoevidence, audio recording and a running log of issues but Dick Lovetts/BMW still think this isn't a valid reason to reject it. So basically the long and short of it is, avoid this dealership like the plague! They were happy me to sell me the car but anything goes wrong, they don't want to know you. I have a £90,000 car that I can't trust and do not love anymore. I just can't get over how a brand and dealership can treat it's customers and think they can get away with it, well unfortunately, on this occasion they won't be!!!
I took my car to bmw in Cribbs Causeway for a egr recall when I got there I got told it would take all day even though on the letter I received it stated two hours when I came to collect my car they had smashed to incar sat nav screen broken my radio station buttons and broken my fog light button it didn’t even seem like they were bothered I know have to wait for them to sort it all out very bad service

I was awaiting delivery of my new car which I bought from Dick Lovett BME Bristol which was delayed due to cracked windscreen found during preperation and cracked durng manufacture I was told. Upon final delivery of the new car the interior containted dust and debri plus some saftey goggles in the footwell from the fitting of the new screen. The car had not been cleaned after the screen was fitted. I rang the dealer on the Saurday politely explaining the situation and was told somebody would get back to me on Monday. It is now Friday and after further left messages nobody has bothered to ring me back. The customer service is terrible unless it involves a sale, will not deal with this company again.
We purchased a car from Dick Lovett BMW in Bristol, our sales man (Liam Downer) treated us from start to finish with amazing customer service, he is a credit to the company, & we traveled over 300 miles to buy the car & wouldnt hesitate to do the same again if n when we decide to upgrade our car.

3 months ago we attended the dealership with regard to getting a new car and was dealt with by Tracy Stevens who was extremely helpful and kept us informed on a regular basis on all aspects of our order. Yesterday we took delivery of the new car which is amazing. If you are thinking of getting a new BMW I can highly recommend this dealership and Tracy who was very professional whilst at the same time was friendly, welcoming and attentive to our every need for which we thank her very very much, and we recommend the complimentary coffee it's delicious. This is my company car, never rated BMW until I had mine, due to the excellent customer experience today, will definitely be having another BMW - its the most reliable car, never let me down, (important when your a woman driver), and more importantly after my customer experience today, its a must for all us ladies, your treated like a person, Thank You Cameron Ramsey, you've made my day!
