If you are unfortunate enough to end up purchasing a car from this sham of a company, I feel sorry for you. I purchased one from them on the 21st of May 2023 and 2 weeks to the day the clutch went (I totally understand wear and tear and it was just unfortunate) but this was the start of a NIGHTMARE! After they used my warranty to get the car fixed which they shouldn’t of done within the first 30 days of purchase, what I didn’t know was this apparently took away my rights to reject the vehicle in the future if need be. After getting the clutch replaced the gear box started crunching and black smoke was billowing from the exhaust. Under CRA I rejected the vehicle but DCC and the finance company REFUSED MY REJECTION. Matt (the after sales) thinks you will just shut up and go away. But after getting the financial ombudsman involved because I KNOW MY RIGHTS!!! this car is now back with them after 7 months of fight with all my monthly payments back, plus 8% interest and £100 for the stress! If you find yourself in the same position with them, stick to your guns and screw them over like they do to us! PS they also sell stolen cars! Please see previous reviews on here and google. I've had the misfortune to have dealings with this car dealer, car supplied had no car jack or any tools to undo wheels, I discovered this when getting a puncture. 6 weeks into agreement and 1,600 miles on breaks started to grind, upon inspection disk need replacing, then 2 weeks on, sonar sensors fail, these issues was raised with dealer who wanted photographs, what would I need extra breaks or disc. And then told I need to pay for the sensors to be fixed, was supplied with warranty company details, unfortunately that wouldn't cover the issues or my time and cost for work absence, I paid for the delivery of car and would of expected for the car to be recovered and returned after fixed, after all the car is still within warranty.

I bought a BMW 320D Msport from them, the car was low mileage, in excellent condition, and a great deal! George made it very simple to arrange my part-exchange vehicle and Danny was also very helpful, they gave me an excellent deal for my part-exchange and within a few days I was driving my new car! Didnt even have to travel anywhere as they brought the car to me and collected my part-exchange. Even paid off my outstanding balance witihn a matter of 2 days of receiving the car leaving me without the hassle of having to pay 2 finance payments whilst waiting for settlement to clear like some dealerships. It was a hassle free experience and I would look there first when looking for my next vehicle.

I bought a Golf from DCC back in March. It was my first real big purchase as a 25 year old, after owning cheaper runaround cars previously. DCC were really great in explaining all the products including GAP insurance, warranty and just detailing the car buying experience for me. Gideon was a big help and sent me a video of the car as I live a good 2 hour drive away. The video was detailed and showed me everything I needed. I also spoke to Danny a few times and he was a big help too. As the car was nearing 50,000 miles, a new cambelt would have cost me £550 at a VW dealership but DCC changed it and put my mind at ease. A lovely touch. (For the cynics, I checked the cambelt housing afterwards and the bolts looked new). Only negatives from the experience was that the cup holders in the back seats hadn't been cleaned properly and had a brown mark, from a coffee maybe. This came out after a wipe. Also, the Dart Charge crossing wasn't paid in time so I got a Penalty Charge Notice about 2 weeks later. I didn't bother contacting them as it only cost me £2.50 to pay it because it was within 2 weeks. Overall though, the car is immaculate and I'm loving it! I'd definitely go back to DCC and recommend people to have a chat with them if they're thinking about buying a car.

We came browsing to the Southampton branch and from the first welcome to the moment we left, the customer service and the professionalism of Gideon and Dan was impeccable. It took me almost 3 months, yes 3 months to get my deposit back on a car I decided to not purchase after the test drive. The car had been sold to someone else after a couple of weeks and still my deposit had not been returned. After countless phone calls with the "someone will ring you back" - funnily no one did.... I think they were annoyed I decided to not purchase the car in the end to be honest with you but the complete lack of customer service in trying to help me resolve the problem was completely nonexistent. I think if your problem does not earn them commission they don't give a damn. I won't name the sales person I dealt with but they never ever rang me back after always saying they would. They and the accounts team plucked a random date out of thin air and told me the payment was returned on that day - I told them I have checked with my bank on several occasions and the payment is not there. After losing faith in them solving this problem they had made I decided to contact my bank and get the ball rolling with having them stepping in and claiming the money on my behalf. After almost 3 months of stress and frustration I EVENTUALLY have now received the payment. This negatively impacted me on purchasing the car I eventually bought from somewhere else as I needed this money to put toward it. I'm so glad I went elsewhere with a company I have trust and faith in that if anything goes wrong they will be supportive.

Do not trust this company We bought a car from the Durley site six weeks ago We were were told by the manager Richard Godsen that it had two keys and the second was at the other office so would be sent on to us After many phone calls and promises the key has not arrived We wouldn’t be too bothered if it was just the cost of replacing the key, we are more concerned about the fact that someone has it and we may need to change the locks on the car

I arranged a test drive with Richard, gave details of a PX, was told about their 12 mth free warranty (lie) and was suggested to place a deposit (£100 refundable) as to not have a wasted journey (traveling over from the Isle of Wight). Great. Tried to make contact again, never got through to Richard or had any call returned. Day of the test drive I was met by a colleague of Richard (Wanye), who hadn't had any information from Richard other than 'he's buying the car'. I gave Wanye the info I had already given Richard and was asked to be just 20 minutes for the test drive (something to hide?). Upon returning was told about the 6 mth warranty (so 12 was a lie) and when I said I would need to think about it (didn't trust them at this point) was bluntly questioned with "so you're not buying the car?!". I had never said I was buying or asked to place a deposit, it had been suggested. A week later and no refund. Had a very rude call from the owner who hang up on me when I asked for my money. Not sure 'Richard' exists. Since bought the same car from a dealer that was honest. Cowboys
