I bought a Peugeot 406 from this "man". He couldn't wait to get the deal done. I did not get to drive the car and he was too interested in getting the money and getting rid of us. As I drove away i realised why he drove the car and kept the radio on. Car had a list of faults. Could not get into 5th gear, temp gauge didnt work, brakes were spongy, hand brake had to be pulled up 10 notches before it would even catch. Not to mention the little things like you had to retune the radio everytime you started the engine, key fob didnt work (although he did admit to only this fault but only once he had my money). I spoke to a mechanic who said that the car should not have been sold and that I should get rid of it asap. I called Mandi and after 3 days trying to get him we arranged for me to take the car back through to him and he would check it out. I told him I wanted my money back instead. After travelling from Glasgow to Edinburgh during rush hour traffic and numerous calls etc I got my money back in full. Although the police were involved due to his abusive behaviour and threats towards myself. Thought he could bully me and get away with talking to me like trash but he met his match with me. Silly man!!! Brought his "heavy" with him and tried to intimidate me and my brothers but I stood my ground and he had no choice. Police are now investigating him and his practices as we had it all on loudspeaker for the police to hear the abuse. Word of warning to anyone thinking of buying from this place.
Overall happy with my purchase car is running great phoned about car in the morning and drove away with car the same day
Got a great car at a great price from Direct Cars. Mandi was very helpful and allowed us to take the car for a test drive and have it checked over by our mechanic before buying it. Very happy with the service we got and would recommend to friends and family.
Bought a Ford Mondeo 04 reg from Direct Cars Edinburgh. We needed a reliable car as my 3 years old son recently got diagnosed with Cancer and we are strongly advised by the doctors to stay away from public transport. Mandy Singh or Manmohan Singh knew the situation and I despite this sold us a faulty car all the same. Problem started from very first day of the purchase and Mandy done little to acknowledge the problem. Eventually got the car in his garage with a bill of £120 to sort the problem out (this all felt very suspicious in my mind). But despite the fact the problem was meant to have been fixed the problem persisted. Took the car back to him again and this time I wanted to see his garage but he insisted to take the car to his home address where he operates his business from. he kept the car for two days and returned the car to us with problem still there. Today car wouldn't even start, so we got AA to start the car for us but AA mechanic advised that car has too many problems along with a faulty battery and gave us a report with the faults. I tried calling Mandy but he ignored me. I phoned from different phone number he answered but he was in a temple and could not talk to me. Mandy doesn't want to know us and we are out of pocket at a time when we need every penny we have. Just to add that car has took 36 litres of engine oil in 6 weeks and has done less than 2000 miles. I sent him a text message that I will contact Trading Standards and Watchdog but no response or a tiny bit of compassion. Of course he has seen this type of messages before but I will contact trading standards and watchdog 100 percent. You have been warned to stay away from Direct Cars Edinburgh (Mandy Singh/Manmohan Singh.
Mandi at Direct Cars Edinburgh was very helpful compared to all the other garages I went to enquire for a car. He went out of his way to provide extra information that we wanted and he was very professional and friendly. I bought a Peugeot 206 which was fully serviced with a years MOT and I was very happy with the condition of the car. I would definitely recommend this company as I know I would use them again in the future.
I bought a Mondeo and can not fault the car or the service I can recommend this dealer and will definatley use mandi again
I was fully satisfied with my service I received. The dealer was very helpful. Answered all the questions I needed to ask and more. Was very helpful with choosing the right car for myself. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a first car as they can be very helpful. I drove away in my Audi A3 extremely please with the service.

Would not recommend buying a car from here. Sold a faulty car to my daughter which two independent garages confirmed was faulty when bought. Keep clear of this company.
