DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I’m writing this after enduring a full day of abuse and lies from this dealership. I bought a car online and when it arrived yesterday it was not as described. There was no sat nav or Apple car play. The wrong multimedia unit was listed. It didn’t have the original alloys as listed. There wasn’t a full service history. They didn’t complete a full service before they sold it to me. The car arrived filthy dirty on the exterior and interior. Mould was forming in the boot. A panel join was rusting and corroded. There were many notable scratches and chips which I was told it didn’t have. Most significantly there was an outstanding safety recall on the vehicle that I wasn’t notified of. The V5 was also suspicious. They said the vehicle had no previous owners and it wasn’t even owned by the dealership. I have had to contact the name listed as owner despite it saying there were no owners to see if they had even sold it to the dealership and to ensure that it wasn’t a stolen vehicle. They agreed to deliver and the driver did not stay when I started to raise concerns. He took off without me signing anything. I received a poorly written invoice which had grammatical errors and lacked any genuine information of the agreed sale and was frankly worthless. The people I have spoken to from this company have been extremely abusive and have called me a ‘stupid woman’ and told me to ‘get lost’ when I raised concerns with them. I asked for a refund and they have refused. They have threatened me repeatedly when I have said that I need to take this further. I don’t want the vehicle and have told them to collect and give me a full refund based on being mis-led by their false advertising and constant lies and deceit. There were even receipts in the car for a petrol station where they used different cards that were declined. Very suspicious. They are untrustworthy and as soon as they have your money they will ignore any issues you have and refuse to give you back your money despite our consumer rights under the 2015 act. I have stopped trying to speak to them on the phone as they are so vile. I’ve issued them with a formal letter of complaint and quoted my rights to a full refund within the 14 day period but they are still refusing. These people are fraudsters and only care about money. Happy to rip you off and then abuse you if you try to exert your rights. I’ve never been spoken to with such hostility by a man before. Under no circumstances go anywhere near these people. Protect yourselves.

This is a total rip off garage, sold me an unroadworthy vehicle. Staff are rude and aggressive, ignore any correspondence the “legal representation” they use are also as ignorant. I have lost thousands after having to scrap the dangerous vehicle they sold me. I can say it was dangerous as I had to pay for some repairs after taking it for a vehicle inspection where I was told it was too dangerous for me to drive home and park up where it had been parked since I purchased it. My complaints started the day after purchase, so no gap. Please go elsewhere stay safe. If I could give -* I really really would

It’s my turn to sling some mud so stand aside. In 2012 I bought a Direct Cars Peterborough dealership second hand car sold to me with the mileage clock reduced, so they could charge more for the car. I saw the red warning sticker on my paperwork that said the mileage was wrong unless proved right in writing! Would anyone do that I thought and ignored it. Don’t ignore stickers in RED. I only discovered this when the person I was selling the car to spotted the reduction in Milleage! of some 30,000 miles! In my paperwork when the Milleage should have increased. Don’t trust them. Check the mileage in your paperwork for reductions! I reduced the value of my car sale subsequently to a car Trader, Even he was shocked and said he couldn’t put my car on his forecourt as it was illegal trading but will use it as a handy runaround.

Absolute scam company. Fake service history, refuse to fix faults, repeatedly lie about cars. Refuse to collect the car to refund it. Please stay away at all costs. Unless you want to be robbed.

FAKE SERVICE HISTORY PAPERWORK! Avoid at all costs, picked up a VW Scorocco from them in February, still waiting to receive the service history documents as it was advertised as full service history, was told that he would have to send it out due to the car having a private plate on originally, chased it up for over two months, owner Wajid lied saying he has sent it out and that no one was in, after asking for tracking he ignored, only for him to send me a couple of pictures of a service, not even sure if it's for my car, no after sales Care he ignores your messages, the car I part exed he had up saying it had full service history which it didn't it only had service papers till 2017, so whoever bought the vw Polo KX10XVL might want to look into it. Definitely wouldn't go back not after this, and reading through other negative reviews it sounds about right. Oh and I don't believe my car i bought even has full service history, they make it up and fake the documents !
I’m so annoyed I feel robbed, car was overpriced needed two new tyres but passed the MOT, said he would do service that wasn’t done they had just reset the the service date. The guy was argumentative and rude on the phone to me, I’m having to pay out £800 now to get car fixed as “warranty” didn’t cover it I really wish I’d done my homework on this place before I bought the car, please stay clear they are untrustworthy

Terrible from start to finish. Avoid and save yourself money & stress! Where to start with these guys. I bought a pick-up truck in April from these guys as I needed a fairly quickly and there wasn't many other options for what I was specifically looking for. First off, the vehicle was filthy inside and out. This seems to be a common theme with other reviews. I had asked before travelling down from Scotland if there was any marks and chips/bumps in the car - was told no. First lie. There is chips in the paint all over the car. However, based on my circumstances and the price of the vehicle I was happy to proceed with this is it's not too much of a problem for me, which I have sorted out of my own pocket. Next issue comes from the people who work there seeming to lack a basic understanding of motor vehicles/cars in general. I was told there was two keys. When I got down there i was presented two keys (one electric, one not ... seemingly). Upon closer inspection when I got home one of the keys was not a key for the pickup's main locks and ignition - it was for the canopy. I spent weeks trying to arrange a new key with them as this promised me there was two. They tried haggling on the price of this and suggested i opted for the cheaper off-market key (which I did) but eventually managed to get this covered. Then the canopy key did not work and I needed to get this sorted out of my expenses. It was like the clearly had never looked at the car properly at all. There was a chip in the windscreen, again had to spend a great deal of time and stress trying to negotiate with them to cover this. I had not noticed this until closer inspection when I was driving home. I had to get the car valeted for 80.00 pounds as it was that disgusting, I just took this on my expenses which in hindsight I don't think is fair, but again at the time it was something I could live with given how much I liked the pick-up. Further smaller lies came advising the pick-up had reverse camera which it did not. I identified this upon picking the pick-up up from then, only managed to get 100 pounds knocked of the price for this (this barely covers any camera's and installation fees). The service post sale is the worst part. Spoke with a guy named 'Jimmy', who was rude and as previously mentioned seems to lack any understanding of cars. Jimmy was the guy who sold us the pick-up and I confidently say he has not got a scooby about cars and is rude and aggressive when confronted on some of the problems. So much so that the owner had to takeover the post sale problems half way through. The main problem has come from me being to stupid and naïve to believe the drivel that has came from both Jimmy and Adil (the owner) in relation to the battery. When we arrived to the dealership they were not expecting us so soon and they were charging the battery on the car. He said this is because they remove batteries when they are sitting in the outside lot because they have had some robberies recently. What a lot of rubbish that turned out to be. He later changed his story to they didn't charge up this battery at all and he used the pickup that I was buying to jumpstart another car! This has changed again to say that they didn't charge the pickup up at all. As we were leaving he also filled us with so doubt saying 'don't worry if the battery dies, we will replace it for you'. At this point, I wasn't left with much options but to drive the pick-up home but in hindsight I wish I had opted for by money back. I had seen previous similar reviews but stupidly thought my experience may have been different and due to the fact I was very keen to get this particular car. Fast forward to a month on and shockingly the battery has died when I have returned from a week holiday. I was in no position to wait about and had to get the AA out immediately (emergency fee included) to confirm the battery is dead and has been hanging on by a thread for some time. The chap mentioned he sees this happen a lot in this exact scenario where dodgy dealerships charge up the battery so they don't have to replace them themselves. The battery has been holding on as I was driving the car everyday but the second it has been idle for a decent amount of time it has packed in. The AA chap gave me the readings and said it was the lowest he had ever seen and the the battery was visually sulphating(leaking). The car is still in the 3 month warranty and I was given reassurances the battery would be covered. I spoke with the owner again who said he will cover it in 2 months (20/08/2022) when he's back from his holiday but will have nothing to do with the emergency fees I had to pay for someone to look at the car. I don't quite understand how I would have got the car sorted any other way. This is problems that have stemmed from their either blatant lies or complete shockingly terrible understanding of how cars and the components work. I am left without a working battery which was clearly in their knowledge at how terrible a state the battery was in. I have been very patient with them allowing them plenty of time to solve some of the issues that have come from their lies about the vehicle but they have now stopped trying to help. The time this has taken up and the stress this has caused is ridiculous. Lesson learned for me, be more patient and don't be so naïve to buy from people who have no business selling to you. Could not plead with you more to avoid this company. Terrible from start to finish. I have not been completely stupid however, as I had seen this coming to a certain degree I have recorded everything from our conversations to messages back and forth and the warranty etc. But still having to take this further causes more stress and time to a needless situation. I would suggest if you have any issues to take this forward legally and/or with your bank if possible - as I am doing at the moment.

Where do I start?! The whole process involving this company has been the most awful experience I’ve ever had. The car was delivered (driven!) to me from Peterborough to West Yorkshire by them. Upon car arrival - I checked over and was quickly pushed into a quick handover because the guy was picking up another car in my area. The car seemed ok. When the guy left I noticed a crack on my windscreen. The car was advertised with DAB and a whole other bunch of extras. There is no DAB or extras as stated. There was no parcel shelf in the car, no spare tyre, a cracked left indicator and now a crack on my windscreen. The car was absolutely filthy! Inside the car looked like a hoover had gone off because there was dust EVERYWHERE! The glove box had a previous owners nhs prescription tickets inside showing me the name, address and nhs number/details on. Random hard orange peel, kids playing cards. This car had not been cleaned before being delivered to me. I have to be honest, when I got in touch with them - they offered to pay for the spare tyre replacement and a parcel shelf. This took a few days to get my money reimbursed. They are not interested in fixing my cracked windscreen. They simple told me that I could leave it because it would be fine. His actual reply was “you can see for yourself, take to a garage and get a pressure washer on it” I literally had to get it professionally cleaned, due to covid I wanted piece of mind it had been cleaned to a high standard - the state of the inside was nasty! Upon getting it cleaned, the crack has now got worse which they are not taking responsibility for. They state on the the company’s website they pride themselves in going beyond to make customer satisfaction a main focus. Well honestly? This is the absolute worst I’ve ever been treated. They’ve said multiple times “bring the car back if your not happy” I am happy with the car, not the huge crack I’ve been left with due to them. My personal experience has been awful and I will never, ever recommend them to anyone!

This company is a shambles! My car had various damage along with missing parcel shelf. They delivered with a cracked windscreen and told me it would be fine. Refused to pay for it (even though they did it!) - crack got worse and totally unsafe, completely refused to even contribute and I even offered to pay half! Even though it wasn’t my fault. They wanted me to claim through my insurance. They’ve been an absolute s..t box of a company. All they said was “bring the car back if your not happy” to which I said many times, the cars fine - the crack isn’t. If somebody else is looking on reviews for this place with the slightest intention of going, I would run the other way and avoid these like the plague

I bought a car from these guys told it was ok to take that day. It was advertised as serviced the service light came on the day I took it home. Advertised with sat nav this didn’t work dispite me buying an SD card costing £90 I then had two tyres blow out … yes two! The tyres on this car were from 2003 and full of dry rot when I got the tyres changed they would deflate overnight because the alloys were cracked. I had to replace them costing £1200, each wheel only had 4 out of 5 wheel nuts on and it had just been through an MOT on collection??? then the ABS failed, with a service fixing this cost £420 … the dealer said they would help towards the cost to prevent me returning the car and after calling again and again and being told they will sort it I’ve given up! I had to borrow a car for work for a month after buying a new car for 8k utterly disgusting they even told me at the dealership they had to tax the car charged me £70 for doing this and didn’t tax it so I had to pay again! Steer clear of this lot absolute bunch of crooks!
