If you know what’s good for you stay away from this dealer … He's full of the gift of the fab but actually talks nothing but bullshit … delivers nothing. Warranty ain’t worth the papers it’s on.. He promises the earth but don’t return calls blocks your number and money is not reimbursed for work done to faulty vehicle… Read the reviews do not buy from here …I’m Reporting him to Trading standards that’s how bad he is

Hello, I bought a car from Andy in late August and have had to return it 3 times to him to fix the problem. (Clutch related) Every time within the 3 month warranty. He returned the car from the garage saying they had found minor faults and that it was fixed. Each time All was well for about a week but then the old problems had returned.(not going into 1st or reverse). He actually had the car for a total of 6 weeks during the 3 month warranty. The car still has a major problem with the clutch and I feel he did the absolute minimum to repair it during its warranty hoping that whatever repair that had been done would last just long enough for the warranty to expire. And of course now it has!! I’ve spoken to Andy and he agreed to have another look at the car, but I told him that I do not want the car back and that I would like some money back. He said he will be in contact shortly about that. I was just wondering if you had heard anything about your situation, and have you been to the trading standards about him?
Brought a car from Andy at DK cars, what a humongous mistake!!! Steer clear if you know what’s good for you. They sell shoddy cars. Nothing but problems with the car I brought from the offset, Andy’s customer service is so shockingly bad, had to chase him constantly. He had my car back for weeks at a time doing little jobs that any other garage would have done in a day!!!! Lots needed fixing over time, most of which I did end up footing the bill for as at one point was told to go to my local garage for them to sort (After Andy had enough of the constant issues). When the work had been completed I was told that it was not actually covered by the warranty as the work was done by another garage!!!!! Was then promised payment towards the work as a good will gesture and nothing ever came of it. Yet again was me chasing for an update, in the end Andy stopped replying to me. I also found out on inspection from my local garage that the car had in-fact been involved in an accident of some kind, one that hadn’t gone through insurance as I checked. I’ve learnt a very expensive lesson and so want to warn others. DON’T buy from them, you could end up regretting it just like me

Bought a car in November few stalling problems the first weeks then week 4/5 egr valve went . Emailed not covered by warrenty . They offered a contribution as part was £350 . Never saw contribution. Didn't even get a reply but they had a copy of the invoice for claiming vat back . Nearly into 3rd month of ownership and it's going back in the machine at the garage tomorrow ! Great 👍 dreading to see what's wrong now

I bought my car from DK Cars & Vans in mid-Dec 2020, by early Jan my engine light was on. After doing a diagnostic test, it was found that my catalytic converter and oxygen sensor needed replacing. This was still within the 3 month guarantee period. The salesman strung me along and in the end it cost me an extra 660 pounds, and he simply refused to pay for it. They say you will know them by their fruit, well DK Motors and Van's, you certainly have shown your true colours, you are, liars and thieves. I have only one thing to say to you, the Bible says that when you're a thief you bring a curse upon yourself, and it will not go well with you, your families, or your business, and when you touch God's children to hurt them, you're in serious trouble. The Bible also says 'Vindication is mine says the Lord'. I have prayed that God would have mercy on you, because I wouldn't want to be in your shoes when He deals with you, for the wickedness that you have dished out to me.

Avoid DK Cars and Vans at all costs, take a witness with you to every car dealer you go to have everything in writing, pay by credit card (you are covered under the Section 75). I appreciate my review is a very long one, but it will give you a complete insight into everything relating to my experience with the corrupt DK Cars and Vans. I found DK Cars and Vans on Auto Trader. I was interested in a car they had for sale at the time Citroen C1 - LD15 FSF. Andy initially appeared as a genuine and nice person, he verbally stated that if I am unsatisfied with the vehicle upon delivery, he will give me my £200 deposit back. I had a friend who witnessed everything that Andy and I discussed. I made the deposit payment of the £200 deposit which was a huge mistake. everything went downhill few days after. Andy raised his voice several times on the phone and became verbally aggressive as time went by. During our discussion of the delivery date of the vehicle as I had to arrange a day off from work to sign for the vehicle, I let Andy pick the delivery date considering all the work that was needed for the vehicle, as outlined below. Andy reassured me that he will be able to get everything sorted out and deliver the vehicle on Wednesday 23rd of June 2021. The agreement Andy and I had verbally and in writing to have the following carried out on the vehicle: 1. Full Valet inside and out 2. Sort out any marks/scratches 3. New mats 4. Oil filter change 5. brand new battery 6. HPI report that was going to be emailed to me on the 21st of June 2021. 7. Replacement of rear wiper motor and handbook 8. Delivery of the vehicle no later than Wednesday 23rd of June 2021. 9. Check why the mirror function was not working when my phone was connected. I called Andy for the HPI check result to be emailed to me. He kept calling me by mistake throughout the week mistaking me for another customer and leaving me voice mails relating to his other customers. It was too much going back and forth and the following excuses he made up: He is out of the office, does not have access to a computer and that his colleague will email the HPI. Andy from Dk Cars and Vans called me to say that the rear wiper motor is the problem and that they are waiting for a new part to come in. He insisted on making the delivery on the 1st of July 2021. I asked him if the repair and other works were done on the vehicle, he said no, the rear wiper arm motor still requires fixing and that he was able to get a new battery for the vehicle as the battery flat on the day myself and my friend viewed the vehicle. I tried explaining to Andy my point of view where he has put myself and my employer in a difficult situation where I must ask my employer for a day off at such short notice and that I want the car fixed so that I do not have to go back and forth waiting for work to be done. I tried negotiating with Andy to have the vehicle delivered 1 week later so that it gives notice to my employer to authorise my AL and gives time for Andy to make the repairs. He refused and in an aggressive manner he said: ‘You do not understand, I am running out of space on the forecourt, and I need the car moved.’ It was apparent that he did not care the difficult position he put me in and completely ignored the fact that I wanted the vehicle fixed before delivery. Andy explained that he planned on delivering the vehicle to me and when motor delivery was made, he would drive down, collect my car, go back to his garage to make the repair then return my car to me. Bear in mind that this did not make sense because his business is located 30 miles away from me, a total of 1 hour 45-minute drive each journey. Why would anyone in their right mind make 4 journeys that is 1 hour 45-minute drive per trip? I reluctantly agreed to have the vehicle delivered to me, but I asked Andy to meet me at a local garage because I wanted a mechanic to check the vehicle. Andy again raised his voice in an inappropriate manner stating that I am wasting his time and that he is not willing to stick around for a mechanic to check the vehicle. I then said, if he does not want to proceed with the sale then he can withdraw and give me my £200 deposit back. He said I will lose my deposit regardless of if he pulls out from the sale or not, he was adamant that he will not give me my £200 and that I will have to go court to get it back, which he promised even then I won’t get my money back. Andy turned up at the garage as agreed, the mechanic had a look at the engine and battery + other aspects of the vehicle. The mechanic confirmed that the battery is not new, and the battery health was on amber. Andy clearly lied saying that it is a new battery when all he did was charge up the battery that was flat at the start, worth pointing out that I checked all the paperwork and there was no HPI check. His response was that I can do the HPI check myself, the matts he put in the car was not the correct mats for the vehicle. Based on the evidence from the mechanic’s inspection & Andy not fulfilling the contract I withdrew from the contract. Also worth mentioning, I had a family member with me, and he also became verbally aggressive with them which is also why I withdrew from the sale. Andy drove of and said I will not be getting my £200 and that I will have to go court. My witness who was present when the agreement was made with Andy, they phoned him to resolve the problem and request the money back. Andy refused and said we will have to go court; he also made a comment that I was speaking in a different language with my relative. Andy also stated that if he gets any tickets for parking on double yellow line or his loses, I would be liable to pay for this. I refused to accept liability. Why would you park in a double yellow line in the first place? It is your responsibility as the registered driver of your vehicle to park in a legal place. In conclusion, I got my money back after my witnessed emailed them with a summary, the other partner agreed to pay back. At this point, I got my bank involved and they retrieved the money back. Sadly, the Trading Standards (TS) did not lift their hand up to help me, Citizens Advice expressed that the TS would only intervene only if they want to, why they exist I don’t even know if they wouldn’t intervene and help us against dealers like DK Cars and Vans who scam people and are corrupt.

My girlfriend had bought a fiat 500 from here and was promised another set of keys and paint which never arrived which led to then blocking her number. It then had constant problems costing us in excess of £1500 after them telling her it was in perfect working order. Never buy a car from here and I wish we had read the reviews beforehand.
I brought a Ford Focus Estate from Dk Van's & Motors about a month ago now and the 3 month warranty should be printed on rice paper as it's as good as nothing. When I went to look at the car initially we agreed to have the oil/filters and cam belt changed. They changed the cam belt but not the oil, I got this confirmed by my uncle who's a mechanic. After driving home the tyre pressure monitoring warning light came on saying one of the sensors was not being found. On the mot certificate it failed the first time going through as one of the tyre sensor was broken. I thought this was fixed however it wasnt as I took to national tyres who confirmed it was broken. I also had to get the brakes changed as they were nearly spent and the one of the tyres as my uncle said it wasnt safe and shouldn't of passed the mot with a tyre in that condition. The price was fair and the service was to bad but I definitely would not buy from these again. I phoned numerous times for the issues I've mentioned to be resolved but every time I get alot of talking of how it will be sorted but nothing gets done. Overall the they sold me a car at a reasonable price but at the end of the day it shouldn't of passed the MOT it was given by dk Van's and cars and I've had to fork out to make it safe which has made the car a quite expensive. Bottom line would not recommend.
