Bought a car from DRH which developed faults the next day. Had it back but no work was carried out. After numerous times getting ignored he finally had it back but this time asked me to contribute towards costs. So I’m out of pocket £1700 now. Please avoid them and don’t do same mistake as I did.

Great at first, picked the car up and then drove it 160 miles home. A few small issues but that was ok its a used car after all, then i contacted Dave about a faulty coil pack and sent him the invoice and surprise surprise he hung up on me when i called about it ( nearly 3 weeks later mind ) and won't message me back. I took the other bad reviews about DRH Cars with a pinch of salt but i really shouldn't have, go elsewhere and buy honestly.

Terrible experience from start to finish of DRH cars in Tamworth. Firstly, I was advised the car was good/clean condition throughout. It was not (delivered to Bristol so limited recourse). It took weeks and a lot of effort to rid the car of the bad smells, coupled with countless missing interior pieces. Next was an engine fault, DRH agreed to cover the cost of fixing this, he did, eventually, but this was after fobbing me off countless times. Finally, to top things all off, from the first day, DRH claimed to have left the spare key back at the office. I waited weeks, then chased, nothing but excuses. He claimed to have sent Royal Mail recorded, I asked for a copy of the tracking number, nothing. Now, 4 months later, after weekly/fortnightly chasing, not only no key, no proof it was ever sent, and refusing to chase Royal Mail, or cover the cost of having the key changed.

Wasn’t aware of previous reviews so my fault for trusting DRH Cars Tamworths word. Luckily didn’t part with any money. Left a review elsewhere and he sent me an abusive message.

In August of 2017 I purchased a 2013 Skoda Citigo from Dave Hill, DRH Cars. Although I am satisfied with the vehicle itself, several agreed items were not delivered to me as promised. This included my RAC membership (advertised in the dealership, now concluded after driving to the dealership repeatedly 2 hours drive for myself), floormats not delivered as "we always supply floormats", and an emergency jack. A few days after the delivery to my house, I noted a light lens was broken that was agreed to be fixed before delivery (An MOT failure bearing in mind the day prior it had passed ), I phoned Dave, and said he has ordered the part direct from Skoda, so I drove up to get it fitted. He then stated that "it is in his other warehouse". After 541 miles of driving to the dealership repeatedly over a large timeframe, I have given up on these false promises. For anyone thinking about buying via DRH Cars LTD, Dave Hill is a very helpful, honest and 'nothing is too much effort' in the purchase of the car after you complete the transaction, you are on your own. A learning experience.

Excellent service, no pressure to buy.Allowed to look over car in our own time. Dave is a very pleasant man to deal with. Would buy from him again. Car was deliver immaculate and given good price for our px.
