Finance company paid Drive Easy Ltd for a vehicle I didn't get! Then they ran off with the finance money !!!!!!!!!!! Saying they have gone into administration. Sharks the lot of them. Messed around for 4 weeks while they would of knew this all along. God help I ever come across them again.

Bought MG TF on 6th Feb 2017 for £2k cash and was promised full service, 12 mth MOT and 3 month warranty. Sales guy at Drive Easy said I could collect the car the following weekend, then he called to say MOT guy had let him down and would now be the next week. Went to collect on 20th Feb to find still not ready. 2 weeks - paid in full - no car. I tore strip off sales guy as he kept giving me excuses. He promised I would get car on 23rd Feb 17, Went to Drive Easy as agreed and car was MOT'd as advertised but radio had disappeared. So frustrated with this garage, I took car but insisted on 6mth warranty for all the inconvenience. Well on 28th March car overheated and lost all coolant, 5 weeks of motoring, called warranty company to arrange recovery and repair only to find Drive Easy aren't trading and the warranty is just a useless piece of paper. Thanks Richard Nesbitt and Stephen James Fernie!!! Hope you enjoy my £2k while I'm off the road and looking at a hefty repair bill. Sleep soundly.
Had been looking for a used mini for my 18 year old song or several weeks and found a choice of four here of varying ages, mileages and prices, all immaculately presented. Sales staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and not in the least pushy. Test drove two cars and went for the cheaper of the two. Collected it two days later MOT'd and serviced with an excellent warranty included. My son is now the very proud owner of a very smart black 2007 Mini One for just over three grand. Thank you Alex for your help.

Glad Dale loves his car Ray, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience in dealing with us at Drive Easy.
Well were do i start with Drive Easy Ltd. Said the car would be ready in a day, yet it wasnt ready for 4 days after they said because it had problems (why put a car up that isnt anywhere near sale ready?). Anyway had the car 2 weeks and had to have 2 new front tyres as they were bulging and splitting after doing only 300 miles!! Bit of a disgrace really as the car is a family car not even for the sake of my family, they clearly use a garage that cuts corners to get cars through there MOT judging by my car. Would i use this garage again NO! Been nothing but a headache, should of bought of a backstreet dealer!!

We are disappointed that you weren't happy with your experience. It can sometimes take longer to prepare a car than we would ideally like, therefore it is unusual for our staff to commit to a exact delivery dates until the car has been MOT'd and through the workshop as until then we are cannot be certain how long getting a car prepared to our high standards will take. Regarding your comment that the cars should be prepared prior to sale that is not really possible, we advertise cars as serviced and coming with twelve months MOT. If a car were to be in stock for 6 or 8 weeks that would necessitate MOT'ing and servicing the car twice which is not really feasible. We use three separate independent MOT stations for our MOT's to spread out our workload. I strongly disagree with and I am offended by your assertion that we have some lax MOT station doing favourable MOT's, if that were possible which it isn't we could prepare cars in 10 minutes rather than the 4 days you assert it took to prepare your car. In today's world MOT stations are rigorously examined and MOT testers are personally responsible and accountable for mistakes and oversights for which they could potentially lose their livelihood. With reference to your assertion of the poor condition of your tyres, a bulge can appear on a tyre at any time, due to pot holes etc. We operate our own Drive Easy discount tyre bay here on site and would have been happy to examine this side wall cracking and if found on a recently purchased car have replaced the tyres free of charge. Where a Sales Car passes an MOT but receives an advisory on tyres brake components or any safety related item Drive Easy's policy is always to address the advisory issues by replacing the parts as listed on the MOT testers report.

This customer purchased a car from us in June 2016. he had a 6 month warranty and the additional protection afforded by the FCA under his finance agreement. In December we took a call from the customer who told us his car was displaying an anti pollution fault notice so we booked the car into our workshop for investigation on the 22nd December. The customer failed to keep this appointment with our workshop. One week later the customer drove the car to our premises unannounced with a completely different problem, the car was overheating very badly. When the car cooled sufficiently myself and one of our technicians examined the car and found it had no coolant and no oil in the car whatsoever and the engine had been overheated so severely it would need completely stripping down to ascertain the source of the problem. As this was the week between Christmas and New Year we were operating on skeleton staff and prioritising warranty and pre booked customer work. This customer was informed by telephone that there would be a considerable delay until after the holiday period before we could start work and that as the warranty had expired any repairs would be chargeable. He immediately became abusive to a member of our staff and after several warnings for his language our staff member put the phone down on him. Our staff like anyone else are entitled not to be abused in this fashion in their place of work and we have a zero tolerance policy in this respect like most organisations. The customer came to collect his car and despite being advised by one of our technicians that the vehicle should be recovered not driven to avoid any further damage the customer drove the car away. The customer subsequently contacted his finance company and was advised by them also that he was outside of his warranty period and any repairs to the car would be at his own expense. It is our view that had the car been still within the warranty period no warranty claim would have been accepted as the car engine had been driven to destruction due to its lack of oil and water and the vehicles warning systems to stop had been ignored. We don't believe we have treated this customer unfairly it is unfortunate that he has a repair bill to pay however we are in no way responsible for this.

I had same problem with the Fernies. They sold me a faulty car, they then kept the car and my money. Stay clear.
Pretty good experience with Drive Easy. I purchased a Volvo C30 from here back in July and up to now I have only had one issue which took a while to resolve but since its been repaired its been fine. The car is good vale for money and the dealers were quite helpful and friendly. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

Thanks for the review, Glad your happy with the car.
Really happy with the car! I bought a golf from here a few months ago now. The only issue with it is that one if the windows has a fault that had not yet been repaired but other than that its fine. It was clean and in good condition. The sales team were pretty helpful. Would recommend.
