Told by sales staff it's seller’s market and they don't need to be competitive because they have met their sales targets for the next 2 years I don't know why they don't shut up shop and go on holiday

I don't know how this dealer can be an "Approved Land Rover" dealership. I purchased a second-hand Ranger Rover from them and paid to have the car delivered to me. When the vehicle arrived, I discovered it had several problems with it and had clearly not been inspected properly before being sent to me. The bonnet catch was aligned wrong on one side making the bonnet miss-aligned. There was overspray on a tyre. There were various scrapes and marks on the paintwork and plastic trims. The drivers side door trim was hanging off. The window tints had been badly applied with dirt between the glass and the window film. The suspension had a knocking sound on the front end. The pictures speak for themselves. I contacted the dealer at Market Rasen to be told by the sales manager “it’s not a new car”. Yes, I realise it’s not a new car but as the pictures show, should this really be an “approved used” vehicle? These faults should clearly have been rectified prior to delivery. I decided to refuse the vehicle as I had lost faith in the dealer completely. The sales manager told me I wasn’t allowed to refuse the vehicle which resulted in a big argument over the phone. It wasn’t until I sent them the small print from the contract that they finally agreed to take the vehicle back. I then had to take a day off work to drive the car back to them and get a train back home as they refused to come and collect the vehicle. Also, when I received my refund, they failed to refund me the delivery fee I paid them to have the car delivered in the first place. They have since ignored all communication from me despite several efforts for answers. I am now about £500 out of pocket and a day wasted time through no fault of my own. They have made no attempt to apologise for this and I have been made to feel like the one at fault for returning the car to them. Honestly, avoid this dealer at all costs. They are supposed to be an Approved Land Rover dealer but act like a dodgy second hand car outfit. Take your business elsewhere as I definitely will be in future!

I bought my Range rover from New in 2016 from Duckworth ,now with under 6,000 miles in 2020 i have sprung a leak .Well what i mean is somewhere on my windscreen its seal i think has gone allowing water into my lovely Range rover which is still like new till this happened.So i rang them and they want £150 to look at it and if the windscreen is become unsealed or needs replacing they want more money untold amount as they dont know till it comes in for inspection.I have stated its all over the Internet that in the case of Range rovers specially Evoques its happening everywhere .They do not care they was unhelpful rude even though i dont have any more warranty as they give three years .I do still have it under a service plan so they know my vehicle very well .So this bunch of thieves are happy to sell to a vehicle get you for as much money as possible but will not give a inch in situations that should not be happening .I have had many cars over the years and never experienced this a leaky windscreen .I even rang Land rover head office they again denied this issue and did not want to help at all ...How can a car company blame us the owner for faulty issues like a unsealed windscreen .There disgusting and there has to be a way this is stopped as i have spoken to lots of people and normally unsealed windscreen leaking might happen on a vehicle over 15 to 20 years old .This for me will stop me ever buying another Range rover as that is no way to treat anyone that is supposed to be a customer ..So people if you want a expensive car i dont suggest a Range rover as just read on the forums how bad they treat people .They are a complete let down at the worst possible time ..
Bought my range rover in october 2015 from DUCKWORTHS LANDROVER. From the start the car caused me problems when I put it in drive randomly sometimes it went backwards!! and in reverse you guessed it it sometimes went forwards!!!! I reported the fault 6 times before anyone did anything. they picked up my car on several occasions and tested it and said it was a software fault they uploaded new software and sent me on my way. The day after I got my car back after many assurances it was fit for purpose it went backwards in drive. I had my children in the car aged 11 7 & 3 nearly hitting a tractor. They were horrified!! Landover refused to do anything at first then they came to collect it. The driver from the dealership admitted he had experienced the fault. The dealership did not follow through on the manager promise to rectify it. Since then no one at land rover has helped me I am stuck with paying for a car that scares me and I barely drive this is not how I expected the land rover experience to be! I have been made ill by this car and due to several near misses with the car going in the wrong direction and almost causing accidents I ended up suffering depression and anxiety. Coupled with paying for a car that I can't drive it has all go too much. I have given land rovers head office land rover finance and the dealership 2 years to sort this and nothing!!!!!! I am now left with writing my story here there and everywhere to stop others ending up in my situation. Think long and hard before you buy a range rover the company doesn’t care about me as a customer so why should they care about you.
