Felt welcome upon arrival, the customer service was excellent, no fuss.
Absolute shambles of a business. Sold a faulty and unsafe vehicle. Evasive sneaky and not to be trusted. I only gave them 1 star as there wasn't an option to give zero. If you ever find yourself looking at this dealer, turnaround and run very fast
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE!!! They knowingly sell faulty cars Their attitude/customer service is disgusting Collin, the so called manager can only be described as a fraud If you purchase a car from this garage and in the very likely case you discover that its faulty, please please get trading standards involved. Thanks to them we won our 4 month long dispute against them in regards to requesting a full refund. Please DO NOT!!! waste your time even considering to step foot in this garage.
Absolutely do not recommend this place at all. Paid a £100 deposit for a car, I was told the deposit is refundable if I don’t buy the car. If they told me it was not refundable I would have never paid them. Anyway, gave them the deposit, but didn’t end up buying the car. Asked for the deposit back, and the boss Colin is refusing to give it back. I explained, it’s £100 it doesn’t just grow on trees, I’m a single mother, I apologised many times for not buying the car (explained that I did not receive a loan from the bank) and they are ignoring every single email I send them. Whenever I try calling, I’m always told the boss will call me back, and I’ve never had a call back from him. I now had to get a lawyer, who sent them a letter over 2 weeks ago, and still not heard anything so means they are still refusing to pay me back MY money. So I guess I will see them in court!🙂 disgusting place, the way they treat customers is absolutely vile. Avoid this place at all cost! They hardly sell any cars, and that tells you a lot about their business doesn’t it?!

Good service so we thought Car gear box not right day after got it he tried doing something with it but still no good Never been so frightened driving a car Citizen advised get refund but garage not interested Have lost, £1500 ,due to having to find another one

All smiles while you’re buying…. I bought a Corsa from them February 2021, apparently it came with a Full Service, Service Booked stamped. Within a week, the Emissions light came on and I had to return it to sort it out. Colin told me it needed a new sensor and they would fit it the next day. A few weeks later the car was spluttering, I was busy so took it to a trusted Garage. Found out not only that the sensor was just ‘reset’ and not replaced it desparetely needed a Service! I paid to have a full service. Colin’s Father said he was cross as he had been short changed by the guys who service their cars as he had paid them to service my car. I pointed out that my service book had a Dunelm stamp in my service book. Then Colin stood on my door step and looked me in the eye and told me my car was fixed. Now the 3 months warranty has expired and yet again the Emissions light has come back on, so now going back to my trusted garage. If I had the time, money and energy I would talk to our family solicitor. Completely disgusting

Viewed a vauxhall corsa in August 2020. The exhaust was blown. We were told all repairs would be done and a service. When we collected we were told the exhaust was ok. Approximately 5 months later had to have a complete exhaust fitted as this company bodged it up with welding. Would never recommend or buy another car from thrse

I recently purchased a Smart Car from Durham Car Sales, purchase was ok, although I was promised a call from them regarding collection which I did not get. A week after I got the car the exhaust became loose, it was corroded and needed to be replaced. Kevin was very good at arranging order of a new exhaust from the main dealer, the exhaust was fitted within a few days. But.... When the exhaust came loose it melted a semi-circle out of the lower valence of the car, this was very noticeable, however Dunelm Cars refused to replace the rear valance. I actually replaced the valence myself at a cost of £67. I feel that it is poor that Dunelm Cars would not replace the valence, I was actually told that I was lucky to get the exhaust replaced as it wss not covered by the 3 month warranty. As a result of this I would not recommend Dunelm Cars and we are currently looking at replacing my wife's car but will not be considering Dunelm Cars. I was also told that the car would be valeted, it may have had a run over with a vacuum but the dog hairs from the previous owner were still all over the car.
