Went here to potentially test drive car but don’t think I will bother, didnt get good vibe from the place guy called Andy seems a bit passive aggressive , vast majority of reviews cant be wrong if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck eh??

Bought a very tidy car , had a test drive and had a couple of concerns which were taken care of for delivery, I am happy with the car and deal.

I visited dunway cars and put a deposit down to test drive a car as this could not be done without the deposit also the guy was totally unhelpful and aggressive which put me off slightly. When test driving the car I told him I wasn't interested and I want my deposit back and he went berserk and started shouting at me and told me I was lucky to get my deposit back very aggressively. Very very rude man.

I had to give this seller 1 star to post this feedback otherwise I would have given a zero rating. I wish I had looked at all the negative reviews prior to purchase. These cars are a bit cheaper for a reason. The car I purchased in Feb 23 was not ready on the collection day as a number of outstanding issues previously agreed were not fixed. I ended up having to go back to this garage a number of times which was very stressful in itself as I was made to feel like nuisance and unwelcome. Aftersales is non existent and dangerous should you have a problem with the car. Indeed, I encountered verbal aggression from Andy, the owner when I took the car back with clutch issues. He proceeded to drive the car at around 80mph on 30mph country road, which was terrifying. He was continually shouting and was confrontationally that there was nothing wrong with the car. I did have one last tel conversation with Andy regarding another issue, but again he was abusive on the phone, so much so, I had to hang up. On the sale of purchase, I was given a 3 month (Plan 2) warranty booklet provided by Momentum Care so I gave them a call to claim on the policy. However, they required a product number as they're number plate search for my car could not be found on their system. No such product number was ever provided to me by Dunway car sales at any time. In the end I had to make my own private arrangements. I thought that this local sales outlet would have provided me with a local professional service, but unfortunately, I received the exact opposite. So if you are looking for a good quality after service this is probably not the right choice for you.

Bought a Renault clio july 2021 car came with a years mot . Got mot done it failed miserably, as very surprised as it had a clean bill of health on the mot given from 2021. It turns out the subframe has excessive corrosion. I've done less than 2000 miles in a year . The mot guy said there is no way this happened over a year . I have now reported this to Trade and Standards and have reported the Mot centre to the DVSA . Keep clear from the mot company that is being used Burnett and Co. just a couple of doors up from dunwsy cars . Very dodgy .

Completed transaction with Andy who made process easy and to my complete satisfaction. Generally used car firms are on a hiding to nothing, however, I found Andy and his company to be completely honest and focused on customer satisfaction.

Bought a Ford kuga in March. The day we bought it, it needed a new fan belt. And wheels rebalanced He sprayed the belt with wd40 which he shouldn't of done it needs to stay dry. Within 3 month it needed a new clutch and flywheel, and a service. And to top it off the CV joint needs replacing, the break pads need replacing, the break calipers are fused on so they need replacing and the hand break needs replacing. I paid 3800 for this car 6 month ago and ive spent around 2000 fixing it. 100% wouldn't buy from him again. Absolute con artist. Don't know how his business is still going

Bought a lovely wee fiesta from here. Arranged a viewing, car was immaculate and staff were very friendly and informative, the whole process was very easy from start to finish. They took care of everything for me. Had the car a few months now and its been great!
