Please do yourselves a favour and do not buy a car off Robert smith and e cars it is the poorest dealership I have ever have the misfortune of dealing with. The car was a low mileage mini which is in good condition but the trouble started when I paid Robert smith the owner to tax the car and he blatantly lied to me as the car had not been taxed by him. I received 3 letters from the dvla and on 3 occasions Robert assured me he had taxed it but he obviously had not and i received a fine. I told him this and he said he would put the money in my account and I still haven't received a penny!!!! And to make matters worse he told me he had serviced the car and stamped the book but I checked my oil and antifreeze to find the levels were extremely low. I took it to a garage who told me the car had not been serviced recently and was in desperate need of one. It's unbelievable how bad this company they are it's the worse customer service I have ever received.

I initially had some reservations about buying a used car and called several times with questions before driving out to have a look myself. Every time I spoke to Robert, he was very honest and forthcoming with the information I sought. I did a secondary check on the car's history and all of the information on the car's history provided by Robert was 100% accurate. When I got to the garage to have a look, I found the car I sought was immaculate, as were all the other cars there. It was a very professional environment and Robert was professional as well, not at all pushy. When I encountered difficulty both with opening hours and payment methods, Robert was flexible in helping me out. Altogether, to anybody interested in a high quality car at a fantastic value I would recommend this garage.

I purchased a car from Robert Smith some time ago and the service was A*. I explained I was travelling from North Cardiff and wanted a test drive on the BMW he had forsale. He said straight away "I will send a driver to you in the car and you can drive it back here and if it's for you then we will strick a deal". I was impressed with this gesture right away and made me feel totally at ease. The driver came, I test drove the car for 6miles and purchased at the full asking price with a MOT, Service and Valet thrown in next year free. I have since bought another car and my mum is in the process of doing the same as soon as Robert finds the car she wants. This guy could not be anymore accommodating and he is probably the best Sales person I have dealt with in my experience with buying a car. I feel people are to ready to complain and never to eager to praise great effort and work. So I would like to say Robert you have been great and I will from now buy all my cars from you and so will my family. Top service and a top guy

Traveled a 400 mile round trip to view a 2011 Volkswagen Polo S, Vehicle Registration CA61 URK. that was for sale at E Cars UK. Robert was adamant that there were no issues what so ever with the car, although once I inspected the vehicle personally I came across over spray on the fuel cap and on the drivers side rear shock absorber which showed evidence of the vehicle previously being repaired. After pointing this out to Robert he demanded I left as he had already arranged for another viewer to come and view the vehicle. After informing him that I would happily point out that the vehicle had been repaired to the new buyer he lost him temper and showed aggressive attitude which lead to him informing me he would call the police if I did not leave the premises. Stay well away from E Cars if you want my advice.

ECars UK is the poorest car dealership I have ever been to. The owner Robert Smith, is who I dealt with directly. The car broke down the night I had it with the engine management light on. After 5 trips to the garage I gave up and asked for my money back. Robert refused to give the money back stating that the car had had lots of work done. If I could rate the services at E Cars UK 0 then I would.
