I purchased a BMW 1 series from a member of staff and his mystery boss but after driving the car for a day i noticed that the heating on the car only works on the passenger now buying this car in the winter that's an issue as i'm constantly cold! After bringing this to his attention in his words he said "he's waiting to hear back from the engineer" everytime i ring for an update! Which is lies the place in the photos looks nice but its far from right! its a old rundown shed where he keeps the cars and he said "We are moving to a new place soon" looking at the other reviews on here it seems like hes been moving for a while now.. also the insurance they provide you is not free you cant test drive the car and he always turns up late! I've pretty much given up with the guy fixing the heating even though i'm supposed to have 3 months warranty.. if you want a car from these guys don't leave any stone unturned make sure everything checks out as i'm dreading to think how much this is now going to cost me. O and to top it off they didn't send my Log book for 2 months so if you pay your tax monthly like i did then the DVLA were still charging me for my old car and they refused to give me a refund i told them about this he said they forgot and told him that he needs to refund me the tax and to be fair i did get the refund from them but it took a few phones for about 2 weeks for them to send it through.

Just returned with my new car from East Lancashire Car Centre. The car was faultless on a nigh on 300 mile drive home. Got a good deal with the car and Adam who sold it to me was great, polite and efficient and held the car with a small deposit for over a week until my finances were sorted even though he could've sold the car over and over. I would buy from them again.

I’ve just last week (Jan 18) purchased an Audi A6 Avant from ELCC and I can’t fault the dealer. Ok so when I turned up the place was a little different than expected, but in a previous job working for a mobile repair company I’d seen many small lock ups similar to this so it didn’t concern me. Adam arrived shortly after me as he was ‘bringing the car from the new location’ (perhaps the only misdemeanour from them!) The car was in perfect condition having had a full vallet and a 12 month MOT just carried out. Huge spec car with many extras and lots of money just spent, complete with receipts, on its last service from previous owner to make it ‘sale ready’. I didn’t leave a holding deposit and I was allowed a test drive before returning home (30 miles away) to consider the purchase. Adam answered all phone calls and all questions, even sending me photos of all paperwork (which actually allowed me to find contact details of the previous owner, so I contacted him for peace of mind having read these reviews). I decided to purchase the car and called to leave a deposit (all payments by bank transfer), and went to collect the car a few days later. Not much wriggle room on price but the car was the cheapest for the spec out there so worth the asking. 3 month warranty paperwork received 2 days after purchase, log book received a week after. Perhaps I’ve had a good service as the car was in good shape, but GIVE THEM A CHANCE! If the car is right for you don’t let the reviews put you off. Most reviewers here are annoyed by the different than expected location, but remember this is a small dealer. With a small lock up comes low overheads and better priced cars!! Any questions happily contact me on Twitter @benish7

It shows on web page cars next to a nice white wall which u think is side of showroom, but after 4hrs drive from Scotland u notice that there is no white walls but a horrible old car lock up hidden away from anything, I actually thought my satnav took me to wrong place. Cupra k1 was the car I was purchasing and boy was I let down, and after telling them about everything that was wrong all I got in return was a load of rubbish!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!, I swapped my grey Leon fr for white cupra k1, if you read this east lanarc boys you'll know exactly who I am as we had a very calm chat on phone after refusing to help with problems with car.

So. After reading many bad. Reviews and after already putting a £500 deposit on a £19,000 2015 330d x drive m sport with 10k of factory extras I was a little worried what I was letting my self in for as the price was very good. And the car looked perfect in the detailed pictures. . But I'm so gIad I read the reviews after placing the deposit. I must admit I had a restless night but today I went to there place to hopefully collect our new car. OK the chap was a little late meeting me but had been and had a full valet done on the car. So we forgive you. The car itself is one of the cleanest I've seen. Apart from a few stone chips to the front that can be expected of the millage she's done. The car is in show room condition throughout as advertised . And after a 150 mile drive home we are over the moon with it. I'm. A bmw specialist and this car with this spec is very rare and In this condition is a dream come true. So please don't let these bad reviews prevent you from going for a look. Yes they work out an old converted mill into small industrial units and they don't have the million £ show room but look at there prices. It's all relative. So be realistic.

Was the the one with 15k miles on the clock ?
I definitely would not recommend East Lancashire Car Centre, The service I received there was the worst I had ever experienced. I bought an Audi from them and it had a lot of issues. The dealership then tell you to go somewhere and pay to find out what the issues are, then one you do they tell you that you shouldn't have done that they start ignoring your calls. Also I had to travel a hour and half to get there which made things even harder for me.

I’m the exact same I traveled from Scotland to east Lanarkshire to swap my perfectly fine seat Leon fr for Leon cupra k1, soon as I drove away the computer on dash went blank so I didn’t know how much fuel I had all the way back to Scotland... 3-4hr drive, boot doesn’t open with key, drivers door and back left now doesn’t work with key, bought it December 2016 and had first mot February 2017 but failed due to cracked back spring , oh and as driving away from purchase the break pedal vacuum hose had a leak, when I phoned to tell them all that was wrong they told me that there was nothing wrong with the car and that it was in perfect condition.... lot of rubbish, Iv just had it thru full diagnostics check and Iv got a a4 sheet of paper with everything that’s wrong with it. Please don’t buy from them as they will only tell you what you want to hear, even with the breaks situation I explained I have two young daughters so didn’t want anything bad happening and they basically told me that they wouldn’t help and that nothing was wrong with the car, I’m paying just under £10,000 for a car that thru webuyanycar.com is worth £3600, stay away from these guys.
Bought my Golf gti from East Lancashire Car Centre, excellent service from start to finish and got a better deal on my old car in part exchange than other dealers were offering, highly recommend them.

I contacted East Lancashire car Centre in regards to viewing a car (I'm 5/6 hours drive away) I asked whether to leave a deposit and was told no its ok. I queried all the other less than favourable reviews only to be told dont have high expectations of the place in which they were selling, it wasnt a high end show room. With that in mind I was still keen to purchase the car and despite pre planning with them to go and have a look, when I called on the day to advise our arrival time, I was told not to bother coming because someone was enquiring about the car on finance. I reminded them that I would be a cash sale and if the vehicle was as described they would have cash that day. I was still told no they would wait the finance out. 8 weeks later and the car is still showing as available, no deposit taken, not sold. I felt their customer service skills were non existant and felt messed around when I was really keen to purchase a car they had for sale, so I wouldnt recommend them as they dont seem interested in actually selling their cars.

I rung up & made an appointment to view an Audi A3 that the East Lancashire Car Centre had for sale, I arrived on time at the postcode given and couldn't find the dealership because there isn't one it's a run down shed which I would of never found, I had to ring this guy called Adam who arrived 35 min late because he was in the middle of moving. As previously stated in other reviews. Adam was very reluctant to let us test drive the car. He stated he would only let us drive it if we were genuine. We had travelled over 100 miles. Adam took us out in the car, still reluctant to let us test drive the car. We finally got to test drive the car, after driving a very short distance. Adam asked us to turn back, we wanted a proper test drive of the vehicle. Good job really, when we returned to the yard the gear box decided to empty all of its oil onto the floor. Adam looked under the vehicle and told us it was a loose sump plug from when it was serviced. How he could see this was beyond me, as the vehicle had an under tray fitted! I would stay away from this guy. He was willing to take nearly £8000 from us then try and drive the vehicle 100 miles back home. No shame Adam.😡

These guys should be reported to trading standards, they are making a good wage just from non refundable deposits cause believe me you'll want your money bac, read past reviews any good review will have been posted by the bro's not a genuine customer, if you have a bad experience report them they need to be stopped trading.
