I traveled from Scotland with my wife to collect our R32 after agreeing his asking price and a trade in price for my car. On arrival at the scrap yard ( moving to new premises soon he said) he offered me a revised reduced silly price for my car, stating he heard an unusual noise from the engine (probably it starting?),knowing I would probably accept his offer after my long journey. I of course refused his offer & asked for my £250 deposit back that he said initially was to take the car off sale. He said he would pay it into my bank later. It of course did not happen, when I phoned on my return home he told me it was non refundable & was rude! I took my car back to my dealer as it was still in warranty & they could find no fault at all, surprise, surprise! John Wayne springs to mind with these guys, please do not touch them with a barge pole, better to go to a local dealer at least you get a warranty & some come back!
I am very happy with my Seat Leon from East Lancashire Car Centre. The dealers were knowledgeable and helpful and the car was in immaculate condition. up to now I have had no issues with it at all and I have had the car since August. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

This review has been posted by the dealer himself or one of his associates. There is another review from another 'purchaser' which is also obviously from the 'stealership'. I was going to travel up to Colne in Lancashire to buy a car from this dealer but thankfully I have found this site (and others) where this dealer has been shown to be the terrible outfit that it is.
I live 270 miles away and so paid £250 to reserve a car on the understanding that I would get an RAC inspection and that the deposit would be refunded if the RAC advised me not to buy. The RAC told me not to touch it with a barge pole as had obviously been in an accident but four weeks later still no deposit. Was told by very rude man that I couldn't have it back because I hadn't seen the car and he just refused to understand that the RAC were there instead of me. I am getting Trading Standards involved now .
Well I pride my self on giving an honest review. I bought a car from East Lancashire Car Centre over 2 months ago...now they post pics on eBay and make out there a professional dealership, when in fact they work out of a hut. I would say the cars are overpriced by a large margin. My car was supposed to be valeted but hadn't been done...just a quick wash my car was also due a cambelt change. The car it's self is faultless so far and a joy to drive but due to the fact I paid more than it's worth they will not negotiate on price and that there posting photos on eBay of a professional outfit yet it's a tin hut. I would strongly advise to go else where, also the deposit are non refundable.
Stay away from East Lancashire Car Centre if you don't want to get your fingers burnt. Bloke is an absolute pain in the bum.. very nice and friendly until he got the £250 deposit from me. When I said I don't want the car he became a rude man and totally ignored me, excuses after excuses and refuses to refund me after he said he would.
If you are a car enthusiast these guys are for you! They sell some beautiful used cars at decent prices! I bought a Honda Civic Championship Edition FN2 last year from them and everything was beautiful and still is! The car had obviously been someones pride and joy and had been superbly looked after! I had cash so transaction was pretty smooth some people have complained about finance issue but in my opinion you shouldn't be buying these cars if you cannot afford them they should be bough by car lovers not wannabes!!

Guys this really sounds like the fake Adam who is the car saleman. I don't trust that this has been submitted by ELC themselves.
Drove 2.5 hours to Colne for a cupra r,it took a couple of calls to find the actual place as we were looking for somewhere like the photos, not the run down shed,I mean "showroom" alarm bells should have rang when we drove down the dusty track past a wrecked 205 that's been sat for ages, check Google Street view, took the car for a drive it seemed ok kept being asked for a deposit, was told they only buy in the best ones and this shed was temporary yet they seem to have been there for a while if they only buy the good ones why the spare bumpers and lights on top of the office i said we'd have to think about it and came away, got the AA to check the car over before parting with any money, best money spent, the 307 bhp white cupra R has had newer windscreen and door glass compared to the rest and the report said it looked as if the wings bonnet and bumper has had work, all I can say if unsure Avoid
I purchased an Audi A3 from East Lancashire Car Centre. The car is in lovely condition and was a really good price. I have had no problems up to now, fingers crossed. the dealers were very friendly and helpful. I would fully recommend this dealership.

I suspect this review was written by the dealer not buy a purchaser.... avoid this lot like the plague.
Travelled 90 miles from County Durham after arranging 5 days prior about my Interest on purchasing and test driving one of their cars. The postcode brings you outside houses, so i had to ring the salesman again and was told to wait 5 minutes until he arrived. On arrival i followed him into a back alley, nothing like the pictures on the advertisement at all! The cars are parked in a storage shack with a shutter squashed together, the excuse for this is they are moving to a new showroom but they have been using this excuse for years if you look at other reviews. The car I had enquired about and made a lot of interest about was parked at the back, and 4 cars had to be moved out of the garage to get the car out, the car was filthy inside and out, with an empty red bull can inside, and the service light was on. I was not allowed to test drive it after being told before I drove down that I could. The salesman was horrible to deal with, very pushy and rude considering the situation when you arrive. Some of the cars have been advertised for over a year and won't have got driven in that time. I would stay away from here at all costs. I went elsewhere and got a great deal same car same spec but definitely worth it! In addition the car I was interested In (and told there was 3-4 different people also very interested in it) is still for sale 7 months later.
Picked up the car from East Lancashire Car Centre with no problems at all. It was well worth the trip from Newcastle.
