Thank you very much Peter for all your help. Definitely the nice car salesman I've ever had. Very helpful and courteous, would highly recommend Easy buy cars to family and friends.
Purchased car after asking 101 questions. Car turned out to be a complete rust bucket and wouldn't pass mot. Returned. Easy Buy Cars said they would refund. Needless to say money is not in my account. They have car and are now ignoring my calls and texts. Going to trading standards and police to see if they can help.

Same old, same old... ...You can never trust a used car salesman. My wife (and I) bought a little Suzuki Alto 2011 from Easy Buy Car Ltd. Was told to go and take it for a test drive - all seemed OK, although the thing was running on fumes, so I couldn't take it far; didn't notice anything for the 800 meters that I drove it. Car appeared to be in pretty much good nick - we accepted the cosmetic scratches etc, etc. Upon paying a deposit, I asked about what would happen if we noticed any issues, as (I explained to Richard, the salesman and seemingly the owner's lieutenant) we were currently taking another used car salesman to court over his misgivings. Richard was an extremely engaging chap, who was there for our every question and need. There was no hard sell and we were actually left alone to view the car and discuss our options. We felt very confident with the man and felt a modicum of trust(!) I was told that if there were any problems, to take the car back and they would sort out the issues. I managed to talk him down £200, in lieu of not taking on a year's warranty) and duly paid my deposit. We returned a few days later to pay the remainder for the car and to pick it up. The owner, Peter, dealt with us. He was hung-over and professed as much. I made light of the situation, but based on past experience, I asked him again about what to do if there were any mechanical issues. He stated to bring the car back and they would either fix what was reported, or I could have my money back - no questions asked. He also stated that the car had not been MOT'd and we were to bring it back a couple of weeks later so they could take it for an MOT test. We drove away and toward the end of the 30 mile journey home, I noticed that the front brake pads were squeaking like buggery and that there was a squeal from the front right wheel when turning the steering wheel to the right, as well as a rattling sound from the underneath. Upon reaching home, I kicked myself by not previously checking the service history - only to notice it had missed a major service. The noises from the brakes and steering became increasingly worse after a few days, so I phoned the only number for Easy Buy Cars (a mobile number: 07415 518642), which was labelled on a business card of theirs, to be Peter the owner's number. However, Richard answered and I quizzed him about the issues I had found. He stated they would not be liable for the service, but if the brakes or squealing from the steering were the cause on an MOT test failure, they would have the fault(s) repaired. We agreed upon a date for me to drop the car off and a loan car would be provided. I duly made the trip to Middlesborough, whereupon Richard (Peter wasn't there) stated that it was too late in the day to MOT test the car - and I couldn't leave it there because there was no loan car due to the fact that he'd just given it away to another customer. I stated that we had agreed, but I was met with "I've just been so busy"... I returned a few days later and spoke to Richard about the noises and MOT - he said he would get the garage to look at it when it was in for MOT test. He realised that I needed a loan car and asked me if I wanted to take a Volvo, although it did not have a mirror (glass) in the left wing mirror. He asked if I'd be alright with it, to which I stated that [the police would perhaps think differently]. He stated nothing would happen, but I just looked at him to suggest that his suggestion was a bad one. We were duly provided with a different car. I was told I would receive a call when the car was ready and to report the findings of the squeaking. After a day, I phoned the mobile number in the early afternoon, which was answered by Peter, who sounded as though I had just woken him up. He stated he would get Richard to call me. After an hour, no call. Phoned the number again and spoke to Richard, who stated that the car had flown through MOT test and was ready to be picked up. I asked about the noises, to which he stated that he would contact the garage to find out; he would duly call me back in 30 mins. I called back after an hour, but Richard had completely forgotten about me (and the issue). He put me on hold whilst he phoned the garage (apparently) and returned to state that the garage had looked at the vehicle and could not detect any fault. Again, he stated Easy Buy Cars were not responsible for the brake pads. I duly returned to Easy Buy Cars a day later to pick the car up, where Richard reiterated that no fault could be detected. I noticed the brakes were the same, but the squeaking from steering to the right had gone. In addition, the rattling from underneath the car had gone. There was no record, note or otherwise in the vehicle, only the MOT test certificate. Me thinks something had been tightened back up to keep me 'schtum'.
Bought a first car for my daughter fantastic service really easy to deal with highly recommend Easy Buy Cars Ltd, thanks Pete.
In January, I bought a Subaru Impreza from Easy Buy Cars. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and up to now the car has been great, i have had no issues with it at all. It was nice and clean and in great condition and worth every penny. I have no complaints at all and I would happily recommend Easy Buy Cars.
