I bought an Audi A4 6 weeks ago and it’s driving like a dream. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
Do not buy a car from here!!! Sam sold me a car he had bodged to sold knowing full well I would have a 4 year old in it. 5 months later and I’ve had constant issues. Taken it to a garage to now be told it is completely unsafe to drive and should be off the road. Dangerous and rip off garage be careful!!!!
Never buy a car from here proper back street garage went to buy a car was told the engine management light had just come on cause it’s been stood awhile & they’d fix it so put a £200 deposit down thinking all will be good but asked a mate who’s good with cars & he said check the MOT history & guess what it failed on that which he never said just that’s it’s come on now full off BS,Then when he phoned to say it’s all fixed told him I don’t want the car anymore cause I’ve checked the history & it’s no good & he said he’s taking it to the garage & all good now & then if you don’t know cars started to say yes it was this & that but all good now cause the engine management light is off yes but for how long?? Cause as I was told it’s easy for them to plug into a computer & reset it,No wonder you only get a 1 months warranty from them after that it’s yours & you have to pay to fix it, lost £200 deposit but saved myself thousands buying from here & the money I would of had to spend trying to fix the car & then looking for a new car.Do not buy from here

Sam from Eaton House Autos in response to Save your money
This is not true at all. You came to view a vehicle and before you even opened the door I told you that the EML light had come on and that if you did want to purchase the vehicle it will be sorted out before you collected it. I left you to inspect the vehicle with your father and to have a chat. You went out on a test drive and when you returned you decided that you would like to leave a deposit and told me to give you a call once it was ready for collection. I then booked the vehicle in for a diagnostic, got the work carried out and called to say your car was all ready for you. This is when you informed me that your friend told you that a machine can simply be plugged into the car and permanently turn off the EML light and you thought that was what we had done. This is a ridiculous thing to say and I can only assume that this friend has no experience with cars. You stated that you did not want to proceed with the purchase and I said ok. Then I received what I can only describe as drunken threatening text messages later on in the evening. I did not want to get into a heated argument so I replied with the contact details of the garage that had repaired the vehicle, gave you the name of the technician that carried out the work and told you to call them up to show that what I had told you was the truth. I even tried to call but you did not answer the phone and instead sent a few more drunken messages. I carried out everything I said I would so I don’t feel this is a fair review at all as you did not even end up purchasing the vehicle.
If you want to buy a car that doesn't work then go here, robbing people for a living, reported to trading standards hopefully this back street garage gets closed down again

Your right went there to look at a car & was told the engine management light had just come on cause it’s been stood awhile & just needs a good run out so was told they’d fix it so I put a £200 deposit down thinking all will be good cause I don’t know cars,So when I got home I phoned a mate who’s good with cars & he said that doesn’t just happen check the MOT history & guess what it failed on the engine management light which was never told about & as my mate said it’s easy for them to plug into a computer & the light will stay off for a few weeks & then that’s it back on, lost £200 deposit cause was told the light is off now but saved myself thousands no wonder they only give a 1 month warranty cause after that the car is your to worry about & the bills to fix it.
Sam from Eaton House Autos in response to Never ever go here
This is obviously a fake review from anonymous
I bought a Fiat 500 for my daughter from Eaton House Autos. Sam was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Sam let us have a really long test drive and was so patient with my daughter who was quite nervous about driving, we had travelled a long way and didn’t know the area. The Fiat 500 was exactly as described and I would definitely recommend this garage. I would buy a car from Eaton House Autos again, one of my other daughters is currently learning to drive and I would not hesitate to buy another car from Sam once she has passed her test.

bought a car today i been asking from day 1 does it have 2 keys with the car he kept saying yh but he lied to me key was broken and was inside the dashboard. When i phoned back to find out about the key they guy was so rude over the phone he goes u have paid £4000 wht do you expect to have 2 keys and he was lying and he put the phone down never recommend to anyone he is not trustworthy at all. will never go back again.
Staff from Eaton House Autos in response to rude manner
This is not correct at all. You came and viewed the car and there was one key. Over the next 3 days you came back each day and looked at the car again. Then you and your family started insisting I have to knock money off to which I said no each day for the 3 days. I told you what I would do to the car for you before you collected, you decided to leave a deposit and I carried out any jobs I said that I would in full. Then when you came to collect the car you and your mother told me I have to knock money off because your insurance was dearer than you anticipated. There was one key with the vehicle when you purchased it and you found a spare key in the owners manual pack. You agreed on the phone that there was one key when you purchased the vehicle also but then yourself and your mother started to give abuse on the phone that was uncalled for.
Looked around 4 garages for my son as he passed his test. All garages want is to push you to buy but not here. True they don't come up to you but that's a good thing. Found a 4dr Corsa no discount but he serviced it put new pads and disc on and put fuel in it to. I'm happy and would go back. Been 2 months and car is still like new.

Visited Eaton House Autos, saw car got fed up waiting to speak to a dealer. Decided to email and ask about service history etc. No response till third email when i asked if they can afford to ignore my custom, that provoked a response of yes we can afford it as business is booming. Did me a big favour really after reading the previous 2 reviews probably would have been a shed on wheels. Car was advertised as having dealer service history, can only assume because i asked for proof of this via my email is the reason behind the ignored emails. Lucky escape for me, their poor customer service did me a massive favour.

Sam from Eaton House Autos in response to Awful customer service
When you visited the dealership we leave people to look around and do not hassle any customers. If you have any questions or would like any keys to view cars you are given them. If I remember correctly Glen I also said to you while you were looking around if you have any questions let me know and you just gave the keys back in and left the site after viewing the car. Then you emailed me and I mistakenly did not reply. When you were threatening to leave a bad review because I was slow to reply I did ask if you could please add on to the review your emails which you sent so people could see the conversation but you have obviously declined that request. I apologised for the delay in replying to your email, which said ' I can only assume business is booming if you can afford to ignore my custom, I will spend my 5-6 grand elsewhere, adios'. I replied to this email saying that business is busy but I apologise for any inconvenience. I even offered to call you to personally apologise as you seemed to be very angry at my delayed response. The vehicle has main dealer service history stamped in the service book as advertised. Thank you for reviewing a late email reply.
Glen Foley in response to Awful customer service
My initial email to eaton house autos Hi just want to check if the car has a stamped service book and 2 keys? Also is there any movement on screen price if I have no px and a cash buyer? Thanks My 2nd email later that day Hi Just checking if car is still available as not had a response from my email yesterday, thanks. My 3rd email 36 hours later Hi, I can only assume your business is booming if you can afford to ignore my custom. No problem I will spend my 5-6 grand at another garage. Adios. Success at last my third email provoked a response from Eaton House Autos Hi glen, you assume right. I haven't had time to reply as I've only just finished work. Sorry for any inconvience. After researching reviews on the garage my response Hi no problem at all. I've read your reviews so did me a big favour. Response from Eaton House Autos For some reason you seem to be a bit upset about me not being able to reply as quickly as you would have hoped. Would you like me to call you at some point tomorrow to personally apologise to you as I do not have time for nasty emails from a customer that has not purchased a car from me nor would I want to sell a car to somebody like that. Your contact number was on your first email. Is there a time which would be convenient for you or can I call any time? Regards Mr Matthias Sent from my iPhone My response Hi not upset at all, frustrated but relieved would be more accurate. No need to call if you are so busy. Like i said you did me a favour really so no need to apologise. Response from Eaton House Autos I feel the same way, some people just have a bit of a bad attitude and think they can speak to people however they want (usually over an email). Also you were obviously looking for money knocking off of the car as your first email indicated. So you were not a potential customer as I would not have reduced the price so you would not have been able to afford my Astra. Anyway I hope you manage to find a car that is in your budget My response Im impressed you know my budget, the real reason for your lack of reply I assume is that the car does not have a stamped service book. Despite being advertised as having dealer service history. But hey I'm just a potential customer, thanks for the emails will add them to the review website. Response from Eaton House Autos Thank you for threatening me with leaving a bad review because I struggled to reply to your email. At least people will be able to see both sides of the conversation on this subject when I reply to the review with copies of all of your emails My response Hi I will save you the trouble and will be adding both mine and your email responses to the review. (Unedited) I will send you the link once it's completed. We will let your potential customers decide. My questions to you were perfectly legitimate as a cash buyer with no px to ask if there was movement on screen price. You made no response about about the service book and how many keys the car has. You are just assuming I don't have the cash. I will leave a review of the garage I do buy from and the price I pay so hopefully that will put your mind at rest about my finances. No response after this, judge for yourselves, I feel my first 2 emails were perfectly polite and legitimate. I admit the 3rd was a little sarcastic but by this time i had visited the garage, been ignored and had 2 emails ignored over 36 hours. I agree he did offer to phone me and apologise, however he called me a nasty customer in the same email! so assume it was some sort of threat that he knew my number! …...really…... I stand by my poor customer review of this garage, Mr Mattias over the course of his emails labeled me a nasty, threatening and skint! So I think I should respond to this “Eaton House Autos from my experience is a back street garage, with ignorant staff who obviously went to the same customer service training as United airlines, I would also place a bet that Mr Matthias was top student but can’t as i’m skint!!!!! Happy ending, visited a main street garage today, paid deposit and pick up my new car Friday!!!!
