I purchased an 11 plate Nissan Juke from Craig at Ebbsfleet. I found Craig to be very knowledgeable and approachable. The car was absolutely immaculate and well worth every penny. They gave me a fair price on my part exchange and even helped me to arrange finance on the vehicle at a great rate. 6 months later someone hit my front bumper. I contacted Craig, who put me in touch with a great body shop to get it repaired. Amazing after sales care! Highly recommended and will definitely use Ebbsfleet Specialist Cars in the future. Bought car. It had a higher than average list price but it looked immaculate. Plus dealer said they knew previous owner who had 'really looked after it'. Was told it had it had been recently given a service and fully looked over as part of the sale and got a 6 month guarantee. After purchase noticed log book did not have the recent service stamp. Told by dealer that the garage opposite serviced it. Strolled over, they had never heard of car! The dealer 'kindly' agreed to let a 'guy he knows' service it for us. He did this in his garage at the side of his house and also changed the cam belt for us. Shouldn't this already have been done with car approaching £60k? As service done 'privately' it has no stamp in the log book. After a month or so of ownership a warning light kept coming on. The one suggesting 'water mixing with oil'. Taken back a few times to be fixed by the garage who asked a business unit next door to have a look. The guy moaned about being asked to do it for free. Awkward to stand there listening to him moan away. Wasn't this part of warranty? Not me issue, don't moan at me! It kept coming on after a second attempt to fix. We were told future attempts would cost. On third attempt we left car there and I had to stump up £30! As it did not seem affect the running of the car we gave up. 6 months after purchase it needed brand new brake pads. Costly. On the low mileage it gets this suggested, to me, that they were already quite worn. 10 months after purchase the engine had an issue which cost us £1,500 to fix. Our local garage said it was valves and engine needed a partial rebuild. Unfair to blame that on the dealer, (it was 10 months later), but a VW at 70k should not have those issues? Particularly one sold as immaculate/regularly serviced etc. Was it the quality of work replacing the cam belt? Was it already an issue when purchased? I don't know. But needing to spend 1.5k 10 months after purchasing (and having paid 'top dollar') was a shock and rather upsetting. Had a few other minor issues/repairs. I really wish we had not bought the car. One year later we have spent almost 2k on it. Add that the price paid and it was a VERY bad purchase.

As the business owner I am sorry to hear of the issues with your car.My Sales Manager John is a Master Tech at a Ford Main Dealer so rest assured the work completed by him would have been completed to the highest standard. We sell over 600 cars a year and we try hard to give the best possible sales and after sales service.We try to encourage our customer to extend there warrant for a minimal cost and in this instance any failure to your valves would have been covered with no cost to yourself. Bought a Bmw which they said they had serviced prior to collecting even stamped service book and reset light. 1100 miles later car car oil level light came on so took it to Bmw to check it was ok and they told me it was in need of service as oil was very low and buy the colour and condition very old and not only done 1100 miles and had not been changed for many thousands of miles plus oil filter and air filter were very dirty. So basically they lied and never gave it a full service atall . My opinion is dodgy car sales avoid

If you want a 'special car' you need to go to a 'car specialist' and Ebbsfleet Specialist Cars will not disappoint! I searched the country for a Volvo S40 in excellent condition with low mileage. I travelled 150 miles to see the one I bought from Ebbsfleet and then a further visit by train to collect it. Was it worth it? You bet!! The service I received from Craig & John was second to none. They even sent a driver to pick me up from the train station. Their after sales care was also very impressive, I had a slight problem which was rectified with just one phone call. I would recommend anyone looking for a good used car to buy from Ebbsfleet!
