Bought my fourth car from Eddie Wright never had a problem before. The car started to go wrong within a month of purchase it needs £2000 worth of work , warranty won’t cover it as that is another con and now Eddie wrights refuse to help in any way and won’t even talk about it. Taking legal advice.... AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs

Disgusted is the word I’d use here. Spoke for a few days, they even called me saying car still available to buy. After going through questions and covering over the details (I live some distance so wanted to do this on the one stop shop) no issues, or so I thought. I paid the deposit, giving the full details of how professional and big there are, that they will look after the car and me now..... only to be called 4 hours later. I’m told oh the car was sold the previous day?.?.?...... what kind of unprofessional 2 bit company is this? so big they don’t even know when they’ve a car they advertised is sold?.. scam artists, because he then wanted to try sell me another car, I only wanted that one. If I could give negative stars I would. Mark - and the set up. avoid eddie wright car supermarket like the plague.

Have used Eddie Wright cars several times in the past and recommended many friends ,however this time round let down hugely started with description of vehicle told 0 road tax then cost me 145 , told had a lady owner from new to receive log book with 5 owners ,front tyres are shockingly low but went through not ,now I have to purchase at my cost 2 new ones discracefull ,only 1 key supplied so another hundred pound cost ,worn out shock absorber currently waiting on warranty decision all this with in 5 days ,awaiting paperwork from dealer received nothing yet log book received with in 4 days so fair to say worst experience I ve had this time round and nothing like previous dealings no customer loyalty just more expense after purchase won't be returning again totally lost faith in this company for a small cost to them these problems could of been resolved and not have to be at my expense ....

All they did was lie to me for 3 months finally forcing me to rewind saying car wasn’t road worthy they have now sold it to a young family with a baby knowing that it wasn’t roadworthy for £1300 more than I paid without fixing it a shambles of a company Eddie wrong
Eddie Wrigh Car Supermarktet completely pushed my wife in to buying a car and getting finance. Marie was extremely pushy, sold us a car that she claimed would be great on fuel consumption for motorway driving, it’s not! Put us down for a completely unrealistic annual mileage saying you’ll never do that much and don’t worry you’ll not have anything to pay back later...my wife has already done three quarters of the allowance for a 48 month term in 18 months!! All the time saying this will keep your repayments down. We will never use Eddie Wright’s again, all car sales people are the same, the stereotype is still very much alive!

Bought a Mercedes car from Eddie Wrights Car Supermarket for 20k with 28k miles and paid for it to be taxed but letter rec'd from DVLA stating it was not taxed and found out EW had not taxed car, this appears to be a regular occurrence reading other reviews!! Car was advertised with FSH and was also told it had FSH on several occasions but there was no service book as it was ' on car computer '. 9 months down the line when the car engine seized up, we find out there was no FSH after all and the RAC platinum warranty that we paid £400 for (that we also took out through EW )are trying to wriggle out of paying for a new engine , around 12k! Taking further legal advice, Ombudsman and Trading Standards as we believe we were missold car and warranty as warranty should not have been sold if car did not have a FSH! Will also contact local newspaper Avoid at all costs!!

Hi Just wondering how you got on with your issue as we are going through a similar issue with Eddie Wrights we have informed the loan company and fin/ Ombus. we havnt seen our car since june.Its hard work even when you state the consumer act 2015 Kind Regards Sanchia Parry

Just bought a second car in three years from Eddie Wright best car I've ever bought car was serviced, all jobs that needed doing was done, MOT carried out all at no extra cost to myself. Picked the car up at the time that was arranged car had been valeted and well turned out. The sale's men are very friendly and helpful but only buy what you really want or need they are very good at their job and could sell ice cubes to an es'kimo. In the future when the car needs a service I will be taking it back to them although I will have to travel twenty five miles each way I know the work will be carried out to a very high standard at a very reasonable rate with twenty % of and a loan car. Would I buy another car again from them Most Definitely.

Bought a car few weeks ago. Fault occured fixed no problem. Special thanks to phil in service dept. Quality from start to finish. Will defo be coming back for my next car. Reccomend eddie wrights to everyone. Customer first all the time. Thanks again

Eddie Wright Car Supermarket are not even worth 1 star.. absolutely disgusting the way they treat there customers.. told me to insure the car I was picking up 10mins before getting so I did that.. got to the scunthorpe branch to be told I couldn't have the car yet I just paid 265 insurance upfront which I'm now out of pocket and to top that off it has been 7 days since they said they was giving my deposit back of 200pound and still haven't received my money back... shocking place would not recommend anyone to deal with these.

Sales staff thought it would be appropriate to add over £2000 of extras onto my finance. It should have been 7800 but was over 10000 instead. In addition to this the sat nav doesn’t work because of missing parts and the boot cover is also missing. They refused to do anything about it. Very poor customer service so I will never be going there again. Avoid Eddie Wright Car Supermarket at all costs!!!
