Purchased my car from Eden Vauxhall Branksome on Saturday 1/09/18 and I got it home and noticed the under engine cover had fallen off and was being held on by barely anything. I took it back up and they sorted it then I've noticed now they glued in 1 of the vanity mirrors on the sun visor so that's fallen off now. And I was told I had navi 600 but found out I've only navi 500. And I've also got a headlight that's all misted up inside.

Horrendous experience with Eden Vauxhall Branksome. I feel it necessary to report my bad experience so far to someone. My problems with my vehicle above began nov 17, I bought the car from Eden fareham and contacted them as one that’s where I bought it from and two they said that all of my parts were interchangeable with the Vauxhall antara so I phoned up and they booked me in. Upon taking my car to them (which was at a big cost in itself) they asked me why I had brought it to them In the first instance, I said it was because you told me to, it was no secret from my part that my car was a Chevrolet but they insisted that I wouldn’t have been told that as it’s branksome Eden that specialises in Chevrolet. I refused to pay more money to transfer the vehicle myself but after some discussion Eden fareham agreed to arrange for the car to be transported to Eden branksome. Now, as I reported to Eden on its arrival, the symptoms of my problem were as follows: the car struggled to start up initially and when it did I had an engine warning light on, and then when I was on the motorway or any slight incline a performance reduction engine warning light came on and I struggled to get the car up to 60mph, I could clear it temporarily by dropping into neutral and then into gear again but it came back after a while, this then culminated in the engine failing to start at all, that’s when I had to get the car to fareham Eden. Anyway I explained all of that to branksome Eden. After some time they contacted me and reported the problem was the intake manifold and the battery, which came to a total cost of £1380 (along with other work the total cost was in the region of £2200, the rest of the Work I have no issue with) having spent some time trying to arrange funding I finally paid off and collected my vehicle February 2018. No one hour from the garage on the journey home the car presented the same, exactly the same problem, to which I pulled over instantly and contacted Eden branksome. They told me I couldn’t bring it straight back as they were booked up. So they gave me a date to bring the car back and as that day approached I tried to start the car and once again exactly the same problem as before, I couldn’t start it. I called the aa out again and within 25 mins the aa man had said it was either the fuel high pressure pump, the injectors or the computer not telling them to fire. They couldn’t resolve it roadside at my address so they said they’d recover it however my policy would only do up to 10 miles and branksome was too far away, the aa driver said that Eden should come to collect the car as they hadn’t fixed the original issue, branksome refused but eventually said that if I got it to Eden fareham they would internally transfer it to branksome again as before. This took place and then I was contacted and told that it was most likely the high pressure pump and that it would be sent to be tested, after some time passed again I got another email saying that an engineering company was unable to test the pump and sent it back, they then suggested that they believed the problem to be the fuel rail sensor but Chevrolet didn’t just do sensors they only did the whole assembly so they went to the engineering company to source a sensor. Since then they have received a sensor, fitted tested it and it wasn’t that either. My issue is, the original fee for the intake manifold and the battery which I was told was the problem was paid for, why do I still now have a broken vehicle after having paid all of that cash which resolved absolutely nothing. And the list of causes is still going on, am I now expected to pay for every single possibility until I have a whole new engine in my car? The point is that the technicians working on my car at branksome clearly have no idea what my problem is and are changing every part that the diagnostic tool chucks them, I generally wouldn’t have a problem with that if the first time around resolved my issue. I am currently now looking at yet another huge bill because of other possible causes to my problems, is that how it should be? You guess and I’ll pay? I feel very let down by this experience, I have been driving since 2009 and every vehicle I have bought has been from Eden fareham, all I can say is if this isn’t resolved satisfactorily I will never ever use Eden motor group again and further more I would advise all of my family, friends both military and civilian to avoid your garages and sales centres like the plague. Insistently I am struggling financially which the garage are aware of and the funding I secured to pay off the bill from branksome was from two military charities.

Bought a new car like others a while back and I have had nothing but problems with the company since. No matter how many times I bring up these concerns. Eden Vauxhall Branksome are never interested. My most recent. I called early to book my service and MOT so I could get a courtesy car. On arrival I was told the booking has been cancelled and they are now fully booked... Also on top of this they changed my mobile number. After bringing this up as a concern, the staff could not tell me why this had happened and said "maybe it was just a system glitch" (yet prior to that, he told me someone had cancelled it and left their initials but he did not know who this was). I was then spoken to like I was in the wrong. They finally decided they might be able to fit me in if they got the chance (oh how very kind of you Eden, massive favour that, I'm sorry that I let you mess up my booking). I was never given a warranty extension document check with my service (as I suspect they done the bare minimum) and since then I still have not had confirmation the warranty has been extended as per previous years (which is the only reason I had it serviced through them). I wanted to complain but they wouldn't have it, so I asked for the manager to call me back, but I got nothing. So I called again and spoke to the so called Customer Service Manager. He was as useful as a Chocolate Teapot and was not interested in my concerns. I was told anyone that could look into the matter was all on holiday, so they'll look into it when they back. There's never any urgency to rectify serious issues, just want people through the door and rip them off. They always seem to make an effort to call me and attempt to sell me new cars. But when it comes to complaints and general helpfulness, they're always far to busy to help. This is just my latest of a long issue list with this company. I would not recommend this company at all. Even if they were the only company left selling cars. Overall, quick and happy to sell you a car, but not interested in any aftercare beyond that. I know others that have had similar issues, so be warned. (3 weeks down the line, I am still awaiting their excuses and reasons why they're right and it was actually all my fault.....)

50 mile trip on back of AA truck to get car to Eden in Branksome. Call received confirming car fixed following full diagnostic testing. Settled bill, left Eden Branksome, car broke down with same fault within 400 yards of leaving, Next day, call received car confirmed as fixed following full diagnostic results, picked and and broke down within 15 miles following pick up, then told it is down to me to get the car back to Branksome, 15 miles away. The website makes great virtues of exceptional service, not sure how this is defined by Eden and what poor service would be, I will not be returning, ever.

I bought a new corsa 1.4 energy last year, after 2 weeks the engine management light came on and stayed on. I called them straight away and they said the earliest I could take it in for them to sort the problem was 2 weeks time, no way was I going to drive it around with light for 2 weeks, so I took it in that afternoon and insisted they sorted it out, which they did. When I brought the car I was told the first 2 services were free as part of the deal, I called yesterday to book the 1st service and someone was supposed to contact me back to book it in, guess what they haven't bothered. They are very helpful until they have got your money, bad after sales service. I Should have bought a ford.

Brought my car brand new from Eden Vauxhall in 2012, the car came with a lifetime warranty. In the 5years I have had nothing but problems from both Eden branches. The last straw was in March/April 2017 when my car was in for repair. The front wing was damaged 4 speakers were blown after the member of staff blared the music. They took the car home used it to ferry staff between branches & another member of staff was using his mobile while driving. Mr Pott's is attuided to my complaint is "we can do what we like with your car while in our care", "what's your issue" & "I wish we never gave you the VIP treatment". Needless to Mr Potts had a few choice words said to him and he has now banned me all Eden dealerships.

I have brought 2 new cars from Vauxhall (Poole, Dorset) and the second car I brought was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I would get messages on my mobile asking for me to ring them so they can take my mobile number as they don’t have it. I would get meeting reminders although I had never arranged a meeting with them. I would go over with my paperwork ie drivers licence, log book and they would say they haven’t seen them and I would need to go again. They made many mistakes when I ordered my car, for example the interior was completely different from what I requested. They couldn’t get the system to work to provide me with insurance for the cross over period between receiving my new car and trading in my old one so I had to arrange and pay for this my self. This is to name only a few of the problems I had amongst many more issues... it was endless problems. To try and rectify the problems they said they would fill my new car up with petrol when I come to collect it and they would give me two free services. Well the car wasn’t full when I came to collect it. I took my car in for services and shortly after I received emails from the warranty department to say my warranty is no longer running as my car hasn’t been serviced. When ever I call to speak to someone I either get another number or email to contact or someone will get back to me which they never do. I paid what most people would consider a lot of money for a new car as I wanted reassurance and reliability of a new car. It has been more stress and upset than what a second hand car would be. I wouldn’t mind some of the human errors if I felt Eden Vauxhall Branksome were sorry but they didn’t seem to care and not once did I get any sort of an apology.

My experience of Vauxhall Eden Branksome is very poor, I found them rude and arrogant I had my car in for the Zafira safety recall. It felt like we were taking up their valuable time. With the recall being very serious there attitude was unsatisfactory my next new car will be a kia, avoid find another vauxhall dealer.

Dave T in response to Safety recall

Eden Vauxhall are only interested in you until they have got your money, it does not matter who you email or call they will never get back to you. We brought your new car from them last year, it was the 1st and last time we will be using them, does anyone use them again? Bad show Eden Branksome.
