Such great service from everyone, car repaired then washed and hooverd and taken home nothing was too much trouble thank you so much .
Absolutely shocking what I have to say. Please read, and take caution when buying from Eden Vauxhall Reading (Portman Road). We purchased a Vauxhall Viva in January 2018 (it's a 2015 model). The mileage was good, condition near new. All was fine. After the first year we had an issue with financing - the total amount being paid was not disclosed to us but that is a separate issue. This issue relates to an issue with the car, and then Eden Vauxhall. During the 2nd week of June 2019 we had strapped our 7 month baby girl in her seat, which was then strapped in using the car seat belt (behind the Driver seat). Our 8 year old daughter was in her child seat, and strapped in behind the passenger seat. No one sits in the middle - the seat is too small, so it's never used. We drove to a National Trust site (1 hr drive total) and upon returning home we noticed our baby's seat buckle was...loose....! We inspected this, lifted up the seating and it completely came loose!! The strapping on the buckle had completely come away from the secure harness underneath. The threading that secures the straps had completely gone - but to our shock horror the middle seat Strap (which is connected to the same harness) ALSO broke away. The two straps are not connected, and not used together. They are independant. Yet BOTH straps have their threading completely gone and no longer connected to the harness - therefore two indepedant belts are not secure. Our family was out driving and this has put the fear of god into us as anything could have happened. God knows what would have happened. We checked with a couple of mechanics we know - who both felt the car might have been written off at some point due to the nature of these belts being broken. But we hadn't been informed of anything like this. So the other assessment was that this was a manufacturing or design issue. a week later as i write this i am still shocked what this fault could have meant to our family! our children! i was able to get this booked into Eden Vauxhall Reading. They did an hours diagnostics - and to the cheek of the service team, they had the audacity to imply this was our fault, that we must have done this! I couldn't believe this - they would imply we would put our family in danger for what reason!! absolutely none! this is beyond belief shocking. And even more outstanding we were being charged circa £500 to get this fixed. how dare they! We have a car that is faulty, it's a fault of the manufacturer - Eden Vauxhall want to make money from our plight and the cost of our family safety, and didn't even try to help. We have Extended Warranty with them which doesnt cover this - so I will be reviewing this to see why we even paid for it. I am taking this to Vauxhall which is protocal after this diagnostics has been completed. But this is shocking service. It was only after a year of being with Eden Vauxhall did our friends say they had purchased a car from them and the service was not good. Wish we had known before and looked on here. I would be happy to share my opinions in more depth with anyone if you have any questions - in short, i would recommened you avoid Eden Vauxhall. I will be taking my concerns to the Ombudsman and forums that people use to make informed decisions so they can hear our familys opinion of this service.

Several weeks ago I visited vauxhall Reading to purchase a vauxhall vivaro reception very pleasant introduced to Ross in sales. Felt I was not listen too as he seemed more interested in selling me what I did not want. Whole sales process took 10 mins which seems a very poor service to a customer who was about to spend up to £20000. Waited several days for call from Ross. After calling him i was informed the vehicle I wanted was still in the factory and would take approx 6 weeks for delivery he said he could not get one befor this. Contacted vauxhall Aldershot found the one I wanted immediately with delivery within the week. Very poor show Reading
4 yrs old, 40k on the clock, fully serviced over the 4 yrs. catastrophic collapse of cooling system. Eden Vauxhall Reading didn’t want to know. Not even a friendly word of advice. We got your money, go away.
I booked an appointment for my Insignia SRI down to investigate a suspension service message, i suspected a ride height sensor or something similar and wanted a quick diagnostics check on the vehicle. I waited for an hour and a half whilst Eden Vauxhall Reading had my car and was then told that some investigations needed to be done on three sensor looms, I am an electronics engineer and guarantee it doesn't take long with a multi-meter, also the fault code should have directed them to the exact sensor at fault? I call BS. They asked me to come back the next day to collect it. I received a phone call the next day from the same servicing adviser and he told me my front passenger side drive shaft had split/snapped and was leaking oil (I assumed they meant from the gearbox) this would cost me £171! and that i had a vertical accelerometer that needed to be replaced for £194! On receiving the repair report I noticed it said "O/S driveshaft boot split - grease drip", I thanked the guy for being so monumentally useless and picked up a driveshaft boot/gaiter down the road for £9! Additionally they lied about the vertical accelerometer fault being persistent as it seems that when they cleared the initial fault code it has never come back. (I also found the part online for £25) In summary, these people will rob anyone without car knowledge blind, steer clear!
Awful after sales service didn’t care wanted to charge £80 to investigate air con fault only had car 6 months no customer care whatsoever would recommend going anywhere other than here to buy your next car
Drove from Northampton to Reading today to view an Ex-Demo Mokka. I organised this appointment yesterday for today which gave them yesterday and the morning to ensure the vehicle I was going to look at was presentable. After a 2 hour drive, I was informed that refreshments are in the corner if I can help myself - all other dealers I have been too I have been made a beverage: customer service is key, I may be picky but if I am going to spend money in a dealership I expect to have some service. I was then taken outside to view the car. The car was filthy. Inside had personal belongings in including women's 'pop socks' in the drivers door, a men's roll on deodorant in the centre console, house keys and a number of personal items scattered across the back seat. I was then informed that the car has been used a member of staff for the week. There was no effort to make the car presentable or even any attempt to remove personal items. Disgusted I left after 30minutes, made an appointment on my 2 hour drive home with Range Rover Northampton and purchased a Range Rover Evoque the same day. Eden Vauxhall have missed out on a sale and has really put me off the Vauxhall brand altogether. Appalling!
Purchased a Vauxhall corsa limited edition June 15 said car was covered for scratch resistance got scratched came up with some excuse that it wasn't covered had the car for a year and a half said the clutch had gone when we questioned price 1300 bloke rattled on bout he'd just got his boiler fixed costing 300 bit different to 1300 don't you think requested supposedly broken parts another mechanic has looked at old parts and said there's nothing wrong with them. So public beware your warranty means nothing and the manager and mechanics are rude obnoxcious no customer service whatsoever let them be your last option for a car but I would not bother
*DON'T GO NEAR* Purchased a nearly new 65 plate Astra, on inspection had no damage to body work, however when I went to pick it up a week later it had a chip in the door. Staff took it away for 5 minuets and then brought it back saying it was all sorted. When I looked they has just applied some touch up paint. I expressed I wasn't happy and it wasn't satisfactory, but I was just told to jog on by the sales manager Jason Lilley. Very rude and obnoxious staff, really advise finding a different dealership.
Hi Customer Sevices Team / Mark, please note that i got my finance approved thru your company and got my car from on 7th of Feb,2014 from Eden Vauxall Reading. i was handed over the car on 7th of Feb that is Friday in the noon, i work on the same road as the dealer garage is situated. so i got the care during my lunch break finished work, parked my car at home as i went home straight after work i was off on Saturday so due to bad weather i preferred to stay inside and on Sunday 9th of Feb i had a chance to drive the car and take it to motorway as well. as i drive the car properly and on empty road, i was able to observe few problems with the car 1. Car was making a lot of noise as soon as the speed go to 45-50 or above. 2. There was a constant knocking from the front (as per my guess something was wrong with the suspension) 3. Heater / Air Conditioned fan was not working 4. Gear Box seems to stuck now and then whenever applied to first and 2nd gear
