I bought a Volkswagen Polo last December from Edinburgh Car Store. When test driving I was told that the motor still needed to warm up for the heating to work. I was also told that the exhaust had been checked and that it was okay despite the fact that it was quite loud. I recently had to get both heating and exhaust repaired, clearly all faults that were there at the time of the purchase. The RAC warranty that came with the car did not cover these repairs. The dealer does not reply to my emails ( replied immediately when I was in the process of purchasing the car). Disappointing. I was not told the truth about specific questions I had about the car.

We bought a Nissan micra from Edinburgh Car Store on 30 th March 2019 He took a bad stroke on the 18 th April he will need never been be able to drive again They would not take the car back What kind of garage that has no empathy
AVOID THIS PLACE! I bought my first car from Edinburgh Car Store. A Suzuki Swift priced at £3000. I know its not a lot but I've had the car for 9 months and have now spent over a £1000 repairing it. I always use a reputable garage for repairs. The garage is owned and run by a childhood friend who is constantly trying to save me money so I rather suspect my costs could've been far higher. I was warned about using Edinburgh Car Store but thought that there's unhappy customers everywhere. Really wish I had listened now. First repair I needed was a month after owning the car and have had several since. Now as I said, 3k isn't a huge some of money but I didn't expect it to cost me so much just to keep the thing on the road in my first year of owning the car. Heard far too many poor stories now and would advise anybody to go to a trusted reputable dealer. Kicking myself for trying to support a local business.

Excellent service from the team. Tom went the extra mile! New MOT, new tyres, warranty and breakdown cover. Would highly recommend Edinburgh Car Store.

My partner and I bought a car from Edinburgh Car Store on 12th June 2017 and from 2 weeks of owning the car reported various problems with the car to Edinburgh Car Store to which the response has been little if anything. I've posted a copy of the full email I sent to them which went unanswered and now I've instructed a lawyer to recover the money and deal with the costs.

Found the Skoda I was looking for. Friendly, honest service, super value for a great car. Great after care service, always aiming to get it right for the customer. Highly recommend dealership.
