Where do i start! Jason Singh picked me up from station and said he would take me to the bank as his card machine was broken i.e. he wanted cash, we then went to view car and do test drive, car was very clean and drove well around leith at 30mph. I now realise I was vetted from the word go as asked me all sorts of question i.e. job and personal etc. bought car and when driving home at car went into limp mode and engine management light came on. I did my own diagnostic test at home and it gave me a code for turbo boost problem, phoned jason and told him all this and he wanted a garage to do test and said he would pay, I did this and the result was the same, I wanted a full refund and dove the car back to edinburgh. He wanted to keep the car and refused to refund money, he was going to get his own test done. please be aware of this dealer as the warranty he said I had was nothing

More than delighted with the car purchase from Jay edinburgh motors left the review 3 months to make sure no faults or problems occurred but yes we were right first instinct jay was a friendly genuine guy who answered all our questions and we had many as this car was for our daughter and we needed it to be safe and most important reliable bearing in mind it was a used vehicle. the condition was awesome and the drive perfect. would highly recommend edinburgh motors to any one out there looking for a used vehicle at a great price.

I would not recommend Edinburgh Motors for several reasons. I have recently sold the car I purchased from Edinburgh motors to a garage down south and the experience was like chalk and cheese. The garage was everything that this was in not.

As per Jamie above, same as my purchase. Ford focus 1.8tdci 58 plate, The car was very clean and that's where it ended. Test drove around 2 blocks in leith, not above 30 mph. On the way home a really bad vibration started at 40-55 mph. Called Jason to report I and to send on a receipt for the car.... the wheels need balanced he says .Done at my cost ... no better. This was june 16. After 6 calls still no receipt...Changed 2 front wishbones which were really bad and anti roll links , all at my cost. Changed fuel filter at ford dalkeith, mechanic said it could be the clutch causing the vibration. Fitted a new dmf clutch, no cure. £500 down the drain. Turns out a local mechanic found out it was 2 duff injectors , another £500 to finally sort the vibration..... And now after handing over the money , the next day after clocking up 120 miles gets back to Galashiels. The car fails to start.......... NOW the fuel pump has gone...... totally sick to the back teeth of all this. Absolutely NO customer service. Will not be back to Edinburgh Motors. You have been warned. Another thing, the spare key supplied was also the wrong one. Still not happy.

Seen the car advertised on Autotrader. The main car details on Autotrader were correct - mileage, age, condition, However the actual description I can only presume was a cut and paste from a different car description. Some of the details were not applicable for the car. There was mention of a 6 month AA warranty on the car, but I have not received any information regarding this so far or what it entails. When I requested the information I was advised that it would be emailed on to me. The salesperson Jay was very pleasent and always answered any queries/calls right away. As with any second hand car; check all the details in the advert when you visit, and ask about warranties etc. up front and what they do and don't include.

Hi just short and sweet purchased a car for my daughter from Jay ,very friendly pleasant to deal with young man... Car was totally as described... Better service received from him than what we recieved from the big so calledArnoldCkark buying my own car which was £14,000. Definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used vehicle in fantastic condition at a fraction of the big main dealer prices. Thanks Jay.
