Bought a car from this company, it required £7k to make it legal and ready it for sale, I had to wait an over a week for it to be ready. Should have read the signs at that point. 8 weeks later, loads of faults. I complain and am pretty much have my honesty called into question, all I want is a working car for the £38,000 I paid. I have sent it to the main dealer to get it fixed once and for all, it will be off the road again, no call back from Elite, responses on text are "we don't do courtesy cars" on email - we spent £7k on it already".

I had a very close shave with this dealer. I paid £1000 deposit on a red 2012 Maserati Granturismo, Subject to a satisfactory pre sale report from Meridien Maserati, that I paid £352 for. The dealer assured me that the car drove beautifully and agreed to take the car 18 miles to Southampton for the inspection. The inspection highlighted some very serious and some dangerous issues with the car, with an estimated £20k to put right. I asked for a refund immediately and was told that £60 would have to be deducted for petrol which had not been asked for in advance. I received a £939 10 days later. If you’re thinking of buying the red Maserati please ensure the brakes disks and pads have been replaced from a safety point of view and that the crankcase gasket has been replaced, not just a bead of silicon wiped across it to try and stem the oil leak. The chassis plates need to be replaced, the anti roll bar bushes are worn and the power steering pump has a leak. Recently purchased an Audi S5 (57 plate) from Elite Carriage Company. Aesthetically, the car was in very good condition. Which I did say on the phone whilst trying to resolve this issue. Mechanically however, different story. The A/C never worked, I assumed at the time this would need to be re-gassed. At time of purchase, I informed the seller that I would seek an independent report of the vehicle from a specialist. Confident in the condition, he advised that it would only need a fluid and oil change which I accepted, given the cosmetic condition of the vehicle. This was not the case. I took the car in for a thorough service at the cost of £591.86 which I paid in full. The remaining £2272.97 however, I was not expecting. The seller refused to accept or acknowledge the report from the specialist. To the point that he informed me on the phone that the specialist garage had admitted the work was not required and I was paying for no reason. This was very clearly a complete lie. He would prefer the steering rack to fail and become a risk to life before it is replaced with new parts. He suggested a reconditioned part. Prolonging the fault, not removing it. Like anyone would, I refused to have second hand, cheap as chips, bodge job parts used. The other items included air con pressure sensor and Audi engine cover badge which was missing. He offered to buy the car back, which I refused, knowing full well he would sell it on to another unsuspecting buyer. The showroom was nice and the cars were nice. Staff on the other hand....... Now almost £3000 lighter on repairs the car runs like it should. Check everything before you buy from this garage. Or make sure you have a lump sum of extra cash saved up to pay for the surprises. 100% recommend getting a full independent inspection before you entertain the Elite Carriage Company.

I bought a BMW 335d XDRIVE M Sport in good faith. The car was advertised as having a good level of manufacturers factory option extras, after less than a week I realised the car didn't have these advertised extras and I complained to the dealer. Also after two days of purchase, I noticed the car had three tyres with bulges in them, I took it to a tyre company, who had to change all four as they were not road legal. Also the new number plate they fitted to the car fell off. I asked the dealer how they were going to rectify the issues but told me they wouldn't do anything. I then took it to a BMW main dealer, they inspected the car and told me it had two buckled wheels as well. I complained to the dealer and told them I wished to reject the car as part of my statutory rights, as I had lost faith in the car and the dealer. They then fobbed me off with their legal team (Who took their side).

I purchased a vehicle from Elite carriage company. They weren't the best to deal with. They didn't do a lot of things that they said they would and there were issues. Some of the issues have been resolved. We came to an agreement over the costs. They were not awful but the service could be a lot better.
