Absolutely horrible business to purchase a vehicle from! Of the 150+ vehicles I have purchased over the last 20 years, this business and its owner Ashley Wilding has been the single hand worst experience I’ve ever had. Purchased a Mercedes G wagon from the seller internationally to have exported out of the country. I was told the vehicle was in pristine condition and needed nothing. Many electrical items were not working, body had horrible bodywork and cracks all over in the body and paint. Absolute rubbish. Was not running and 90% of all fuel rubber lines and hoses were Completely rotten, licking, sucking in air to the system, causing it not to run. Ashley promised he would produce a UK registration/v5 Express mailed to me after having the vehicle picked up by a transport company. Five months later here I am still asking for a V5 registration and he can’t even be bothered to contact me back, and completely ignores me. I cannot transfer ownership or register the vehicle without this, and he knows this, Ashley Blames it on the DVLA that they have not yet sent him a copy, yet when I speak to the DVLA they have not received a single request for paperwork from anyone on the Vin number of the vehicle I purchased. He is flat out lying to me. Says that he would follow up with the DVLA and get back to me the next day, and this is now months later, and he has yet to do this. Ashley doesn’t care. He is more concerned with posting more vehicles on his Facebook page to advertise and scam more people. Pathetic human being! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE LIARS

Please be aware that Ashley Wilding formally Elite Motors of Preston is now changed his name to Elite Performance Vehicles Ltd. Do not buy from anything from him.
Ashley wilding is a complete crook sold me a car totally unroadworthy, never mentioned any issues in the description, didn't even have a catylic converter on after checking , told him I want my refund under the consumers act 2015 he refused so im taking him to the cleaners , reported him to the motor ombudsman then small courts claim , be careful do not buy from elite Motors preston I hope he gets sent down with big fines , dont fall for the 12 month warranty packages to it doesn't exist just a way of getting more money out of you , hes a crook all over needs locking up

Im going through exactly the same with Ashley Wilding, ive also reported him and I am in the process of taking him to court, he has 14 days to respond to my last letter, then i'm issuing the court order, he's nothing but a bully and a conman and yes he wants locking up....again
We have relocated form Australia and Ashley Wilding sold us a used audi Q7 for 6200. within 6 hours of sale we found out it was an insurance right off and the car would not start. I had to get it jump started and took to local garage who ran computor diagnostics and reset the battery, The error lights that Ashley said would disappear continued. We again rejected sale however Ashley refused saying he advertised as v car which we did not know meant insurance write off. I spent all day trying to get vehicle tax as we can't afford not to drive this car. once allowed to drive the warning light then showed check coolant before the service i was waiting for could happen. So I took again to garage and the coolant was full of water wiht no antifreeze. They ran the diagnostics again and said do not drive this car anywhere. The issues of most concern were relating to engine cooling and pressure monitoring meaning the engine is at risk of overheating, worse case fires. He did not want me driving this as could put my life at risk. Ashley refusing to refund our money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN

Hi We are having the same problem with Elite Motors of Preston ( not Garstang) bought a vehicle that was advertised as excellent condition, 8 months mot, 2.2 engine, air con, parking sensors, the list is endless and it was all false information, we've had a full check of the vehicle and the list of faults is also endless. Mr Wilding has also been abusive and threatening and trying to scare us off which i'm afraid will not happen. He is refusing to refund any monies and won't reply to any correspondence, i'm now going down the legal route and I will take him to court if needed. Im also reporting him to every motor organisation going.

Did anyone get any results with Ashley wilding ? Sold me a total wreck on oct 3rd 2023 no mention in description told me no issues when bought to find it had nothing but issues after checking , im taking him to small courts and reported him he refused for my refund back and yeah started being aggressive but he doesn't scare me , been a security guard for 16 years delt with bigger issues than this gimp who's only mouthy through a screen , but yes he's got whats coming when trading standards etc are onto him
Bought a car from here, car had major problems with it. Currently going down the legal route. 6 week Into my finance and the car is parked on my drives with advisories not to drive. Shocking garage

Bought a car from the elite car sales today. The salesman was excellent. No hard sale, was just really helpful. Everything sorted in a couple of hours including a more than fair offer for part ex for our BMW series 1. Cannot fault this purchase and how it was completed at all. Really surprised at the other negative comments as that was far from our experience. Car was spot on and as described. Would highly recommend this car dealer.
Arranged a test drive, drove 35 miles, on arrival the car was in the showroom still, I complained and was told, “come back another day” , I did get told to sit in it, like I’m 4 of course and I like pretending to drive, awful. Controlling

Did a straight swop for my Ford Focus st for a Citroen ds3. The advert says it had 1 owner and full service history. When i received the log book to find it had 2 owners and only 2 stamps in its history book. Never i will deal with Elite Motors of Garstang.

I contacted them for some details on a vehicle, said I was coming 35 miles for a test drive. When I got there the vehicle was still in the showroom, it was like a control thing. I said I’ve traveled to test drive it, was told to come back another day. Let me sit in it though, yes, thanks for that ! I’m 42 not 4 !
