I bought a vehicle from Elm Tree Motors a few months back and when I picked the vehicle up and drove off, the gear stick came off in my hand. Although I had to take it back again it was replaced. I bought the car on the proviso that the car badge would be replaced at the rear. They ordered one and it was the wrong size. I have chased this replacement for weeks now and they have still not ordered/replaced the car badge. I have now just given up Very poor after service.
Within two months of buying this car that Elm Tree Motors promised was fully serviced and safety checked, the discs fully sheared off my wheels. Now (still less than a year before I bought the car) all of the locking wheel nuts have sheared on every wheel. Also the car still has the original Renault air filter and spark plugs despite the garage insisting a full service had been done. The car was on 104,000 miles. Who in hell thinks a car won’t need a new air filter after 100,00 miles! When I approached the dealer to ask them to resolve the issues they would not do anything despite having sold me an obviously dangerous car. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

Vehicle bought 01/09/2017. Fault reported 02/09/2017. After 7 phone calls and 3 emails still no reply. Would give Elm Tree Motors a wide berth.

Hi James, I am aware of another buyer having a similar issue with the vendor having bought a vehicle shortly after your review. If possible, could I confirm if you got this resolved?
I cant remember the guys name I dealt with but he was very helpful and got everything sorted for me. The Vauxhall I purchased through them has been decent, had a few little issues but as a whole i'm happy with how everything has been. I recommend!
