Shiny on the outside...... You are welcome to Bristol to pick up the Audi Sq5 you sold me that is back in the garage for the third time. Will be collectively around £7k of repairs and I've had it about 4 months. And you refuse to even do anything about it. This company claims customers are family and that all cars are subject to massive checks before they go out. That must be how my car had a bald tyre, no aircon gas, no oil, a major oil leak, a blown turbo and an internal water leak because there was no cover on the ecu. They did sort the bits initially but I've been now left with a £5k bill because of a blown turbo. I do not trust these people at all, they claim to be something they are not. Use at your peril. You have been warned.

Hi Shamus, We launched an investigation into your claims and could not find a record of contact with a "shamus". We keep records of every enquiry we receive and this "review" is baseless and slanderous. We pride ourselves on our transparency throughout all areas of enquiry and sale and to say otherwise simply shows that you have not had any connection with our team in regards to buying a car. "Not as clever as they think" doesn't refer to anything in particular, rendering your criticism moot and showing that this is a slam piece over an official review. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and the thousands of 5 star reviews we have received across a number of platforms is testament to that. We are very disappointed in Car Dealer Reviews in allowing rubbish like this to stand on their platform, and implore them to take this down and continue offering a professional service. Thank you. Left £100 to reserve my car and was going to pay cash. I'm then told someone else has bought the car on finance. Just thinking about their sales figures rather than their customers! Awful!

Hi Chris, Thank you for taking the time out to write this review. We always appreciate feedback to further improve all areas of our business practices. However, there are some inaccuracies with your story. Our records show you enquired on the car weeks earlier, wanting a serious reduction in price. Our vehicles are always some of the best priced in the UK and as a fixed point dealership, this was simply out of the question. However, in the time between this initial enquiry and you deciding to put your deposit down, we were fielding dozens of enquiries on that vehicle in question. We had a customer complete their finance application with this car and finance was approved. This approval usually takes a day or two to come through on the website. Our records show us noticing you had pit a deposit down, and promptly calling you to get it immediately refunded and explain the situation. To describe it as anything else is quite frankly, disingenuous. It is a shame that another customer snapped up the car during the interim, but that is what can happen hesitating on a great deal. We have made the offer to source you a car in, only for my staff to be met with accusations and rudeness. To give us a one star review over a website page updating at an inconvenient time for you is unfair, as it doesn't illustrate the high levels of customer care we pride ourselves on delivering at Emerald House of Cars. We hope you managed to find a car in the end. Misallegations aside, we would hate to see someone unable to stay mobile during lockdown. We understand your frustrations but we point blank refuse to upset our finance customer because of a Web page dispute. That is not what we do at Emerald. Thank you.
Highly recommend Emerald, Paul and the team were very patient with me and sent me photos and a walkaround vid of the car I was interested in. finance didn't work out but they found something more in my price range and it was great! sorted the finance, cleaned the car and even delivered to me too how nice! would deffo use again

BE AWARE!! AVOID AT ALL COST!! I tried to address the matter with Emerald House Of Cars correctly, however due to the way the matter has been managed it leaves me with no choice but to leave a review like this. I Purchased a GTI from themselves on the 7th July. I collected the car on the 8th July and took the car away following two days with the car I noticed a creaking/squeaking noise coming from the front I phoned on the Saturday and spoke with Paul the sales manager. I was told to ring the service centre which I did on Monday the 13th July the car was booked in for the 14th July , I took the car into them to have the hand break tightened, the engine tray tightened and also the noise inspected I took a mechanic out who acknowledged the noise and was going to inspect it. I left the car with them to be called an hour later saying we can't find anything I then go back to the garage and go to drive the car and the noise is there. I am then told to leave the car and come back later I was called a few hours later and told to collect the car, I was informed the engine mount rubber or support had cracked which I have to question how is this possible when a 100+ point check is carried out. I drove the car away and within 5 minutes the noise was still there. I then phoned again and booked the car in for another inspection on Friday the 17th July , I took another mechanic out who said yeah I can hear it.I drove the car with the noise still there and became unsatisfied with the service received. Monday the 27th July I contacted Paul and explained that I was not happy with the car or the service received therefore I would be rejecting it for a full refund. The rights I have are the consumers rights act 2015 which states within the first 30 days of the sale if a significant issue is found you have the right to return the car for a full refund. I went above what the law states and gave them two chances to rectify the issues but they have not, I have spent the last two days in communication with Emerald house of cars. Who stated they wont have the car back as the noise and other issues are not significant. I find this bizarre as loud creak/squeak coming from the front would indicate a issue this issue could be related to suspension, engine movement or the structure which to me I would say are significant to a car. 1. They sold a car to me and within two days I noticed a concerning noise to which I make them aware and they have two occasions to investigate and rectify to which they haven't managed so I'm well within my rights to return the car for a full refund. 2. The car has two easy traceable records of the mileage been clocked which is illegal and against the law. The first occasion in 2019 it went back 300 a month on which I understand mistakes happen, however the second time is when I bought the car it had an MOT carried out in June the mileage states 30,907 however I picked the car up and it had 30,800 or so on the clock this can be confirmed by the receipt and deal sheet I have from the garage. It is clear with two lots of evidence of the clock going back it doesn't add up and in a court of law would hold great power as proof. 3. Emerald House of cars also claim not to sell vehicles involved in accidents, however the car failed in 2019 due to structural fractures and failed components which would indicate crash damage. Although not on the HPI it is fairly clear to see the structure has been repaired poorly. I have given Emerald a fair chance and have operated well within my rights but they seem to think they don't need to comply with the law. Therefore I have had no choice but to start legal proceedings to take Emerald to court to get my money back on the car. I will also be making trading standards aware of this and also making VOSSA aware of the mileage issues so they can investigate the garage. I have email proof, Photographic proof and also documents from the MOT. I have not only been mis sold a car but i put 12,000 into something that doesn't justify it.

Everything from the moment you look at the cars till the end of the process it is all done professionally friendly no pressure to buy. They give you time to think sort out a deal that suits your needs . I personally would like to thank Josh who I saw first and Pete who is so helpful and really does everything to help. To Charles who sorted everything out for me even though I was a nightmare to get hold off. I would like to thank Nico who took me for a test drive and explained all the gadgets in the car. Nico is really polite and really good manners. All the staff are friendly and go out of there way for you and even get rid of unwanted salesman from other companies which I can’t thank them enough for. So once again thank you all for my fab new car and to your out of this world service
