We rang to arrange a viewing and when we arrived the car was out front, clean trade plates on ready to view. Very polite salesman met us and showed us round the vehicle allowing us plenty of time. Test drive around the local roads and industrial estate made sure the vehicle had no nasty rattles or squeaks. Easy negotiation of a deal to suit us both. Dealer sorted out the DVLA and the Car ownership was transferred to us before we left the site. We returned to collect the following day and again it was waiting for us. A simple easy process and we would definately recommend this Car Dealer. We had looked elsewhere first but could not fault the experience with Empire Car and Van Sales.

Purchased a car in December, as it apparently hadn’t arrived yet to the business it’s self we waited a week or 2, they gave the car a valet, someone rang can’t remember his name who sold us the car, while valeting they noticed a large cigarette burn in the seat, and he said, we can wait another 2/3 days while it went to the upholsterer to sort but we said we would get the car and arrange a date where would be convenient for us to sort and bring back to be fixed, was so eager to actually get the car at the time, then when we wanted the hole fixing, the man who sold us the car had left and as it was a phone call about sending the car to the upholsterer to fix they said they couldn’t guarantee that the hole was there when we took the car!! From a week in when we bought it there was problems with it not starting, turns out to be cylinder misfires, they sorted, not long after car wouldn’t start again, different cylinder misfires, not long after loosing coolant, apparently fixed, kept coming back with coolant leak, the head gasket needed replacing but kept on trying other things to avoid doing the head, eventually they agreed to replace head, which took 4 full months, they did provide us with another car to use whilst it was being replaced which was good of them, eventually got the car back, but still coolant leaking again, sent back tried fixing. Not sure what they did but still want resolved, got the car back still leaking coolant, took car back again, not sure what they did can’t remember now, but it got fixed! Picked car up again, engine management light comes on whilst outside the garage, mechanic comes out plugs in, showing cylinder misfires again! Took car home as needed it, and came back day or so later to fix the misfire, got car back day later, all being well but 3 days later the car lost power, broke down and all the engine oil spewed all over floor, we trusted them which is why we kept on letting them try to fix but after a long 6/7 months enough was enough, which we decided to reject the vehicle through the finance company and have since got our money back, altogether the car was fixed multiple times for cylinder misfires, head gasket, timing belt, power steering , throttle body. We found that the company only could be bothered responding to calls or texts when it suited them, and most of the time “someone will call you back” which didn’t happen and only ever responded when it suited them. I have given our honest review on this company and some people should be very wary only getting a car from this place but given them a good thing is they were always willing to get the car in to the garage to be looked at, and forgot to mention our original warranty did run out and with the car being in the garage for such a long time for the new head gasket they did extend our warranty, I’m hoping this car does not get try to be fixed and sold out as it’s absolutely buggered.. seat Ibiza bocanegra 2010, we have had 8 months of hell with this car and wouldn’t want anyone else going through what we just have.
