We saw a car on Autotrader that we liked and phoned up to find out more. We spoke to Chris Atkinson who was very helpful and worked hard to get us a good deal. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Chris went above and beyond his role, and personally delivered the car to our doorstep. We are delighted with the car, and will definitely speak to Chris next time we look to change our car in the future. Thank you!

Booked car in and told what the problem was in the afternoon and that they needed to order the part which would be received the next day and fitted. Phoned next day to find out part had not come in after leaving my car with them, had to book another day off work due to having no car which I can’t complain about until I found out the part had not come in and I had to collect my car up still I fixed and a days pay gone for no reason, they said they would order another part in and call me to rebook, two weeks passed by without a call so after chasing I found out the pet had been delivered but they couldn’t fit me in now for another week. Great Service from the Service Team. I won’t be back
Evans Halshaw Ford Altrincham replaced my clutch and since then it’s never been the same, had to call RAC out as could not get car in gear , RAC found cable loose with no fittings to attach it and 5 loose bolts around the hub housing obviously left loose from clutch change. Took it in and they were sheepish and said they would have a look and it’s ok. A couple of weeks later struggling to get car in reverse they deny its their fault and found a kink in cable, and want to charge £500 oh and they did me a favour LOL they did a health check and reckon front brakes need replacing. Is it a health check or are they looking for extra work you decide! Funny whenever you take your car in there is always extra work. Funny that never happens with Audi!
Make sure the deposit you pay when buying a new car from them on finance that's it's refundable if you cancel. If you cancel they will not refund your deposit ! Also charged £30 to cancel direct debit on Service plan payments told there is no cooling off period ! Told lies and pressurised for comment!I will never go back to Evans Halshaw Ford in Altrincham again !

We were verbally promised a full tank of fuel to seal the deal on our new car. When we went to get the car we weren’t given the fuel. The manager then indirectly called my husband a liar. Then the manager said he hadn’t authorised the fuel. They will do anything for sale. We would never buy from them again! Beware of the lies!! We are still trying to resolve this. Only giving the review on issues being resolved 1 star as I can’t give Evans Halshaw Ford in Altrincham zero stars!!
Evan halshaw Ford Altrincham used cars sales team useless only care about selling cars even if it means lying to you and giving incorrect information. Purchased a Ford Focus ST was purchased in my mother in laws name due to my poor credit history was all running smoothly well so I thought😡. All details were settled ready to pick my new car up the sales lady went through everything telling me to cancel direct debit on previous vehicle which I was using as part exchange and the settlement was agreed and they would pay it , so I did as she asked however 2 weeks later from picking car up a letter turns up from previous credit company asking why I’ve cancelled DD as nothing had been paid off , so at this point I phoned Kareem and what she failed to tell us when we picked the car up is that we need to contact the credit company and get them to fax the settlement agreement over to them this was like 1 week before next payment was due on previous vehicle. So was on the phone backward and forth to credit company and EH anyways the settlement figure arrived with credit company late so we had to sort it with credit company to make sure we didnt get default for late payment against us really stressful time when meant to be enjoying the new car. Now the lying part which just tops it off whilst going through all the details we asked if V5 could go in my name as it’s my car but my mother in law was taking out the finance so it had to go in her name but they said once the new log book comes in we can change that with out adding another owner to V5 , LIE LIE LIE went in and got told sorry no we can’t do that so I’m proper pissed off mis sell a proper letter of complaint coming your way Evan halshaw don’t you worry stay clear of these they just will tell you anything to get the sale stay clear guys

This is a warning to potential customers at Evans Halshaw, Altrincham Dealership Take care not to believe a word there. When we took delivery of our new Mondeo ST line the sat nav was faulty, we took it back to let the service department take a look, That was the start of 7 months of lies threats , aggression , both physical and verbal abuse .In all my 70 years of life I have never met such an out of control individaual .never once from the sales side did we get an apology. Having disgust these issues with two principles it is obvious that Evans Halshaw positively encourage this type of aggressive selling, its all about getting the money with NO service .

About two weeks ago i visited Evens Halshaw at Altrincham with my partners elderly father to look at a suitable small car that was available for sale, the car was an 57 plate Ford Fiesta and was ideal for the requirements of my parners father , i was requested to accompany him knowing i was a mechanic to cast an eye over it and test drive the car, which i did and a newly appointed member of there staff came with us for the test drive, this member of there staff had only been with this branch for two weeks he said and he was great and very helpful, i drove the car and it was faultless with no issues, we decided to buy the car and went back to a salesman by the name of who did all the paperwork and a £200 cash deposit was taken and signed in an envelope by the salesman and one other member of staff, we were told that the car would be inspected and cleaned and that the missing radio code would be sorted out befor collection the following week, On return the following week to collect the car we were told by salesman that there was a problem with the car as on being on diagnostics to put radio code in to radio, it was showing a fault with the ABS unit and that the car could not be released at that time, and that the ABS unit would be replaced at their expence and thatas compensation for the delay they would fit the vehicle with new mats and a full tank of fuel, ( not that in my experience does a vehicle have to be plugged into diagnostics to enter a radio code!?), the balance of the outstanding amount was paid in full together with the garage arrangment fee and road fund tax paid and also the insurance had already been changed over to the new car, we were told that the car could be collected the following week, on return and without any phone call from the garage we were told on arriving to collect car that there was more wrong with the car and that it was not only the ABS unit but the control unit?? and the servo were all at fault and that the car was no longer for sale as it was a write off!!? because of the expense to repair the braking system out weighed the cost of the car, now i know from experience that the salesman was lieing to me as all of those faults were not present when i drove the car as they certainly would not all beat fault at the same time and i would have known straight away if the servo was faulty which itwas not? I then found out that the manager of this garage had not authorised the replacement cost of the ABS unit alone! there were no other issues with the car as the sales person had implied, I did not let on until i was making a complaint to the Manager that i was a mechanic and it was clear that i was being fobbed off by these staff as they were contradicting each other, the transaction had to be reversed and all monies refunded for car and fees and car tax and the deposit which then became a mission to get back as they were desputing the fact that a cash deposit was taken and as to whether or not the car tax would have to be reclaimed by ourselves!! when they taxed it!! I would advise anybody not to have any dealings with these lot dishonest and buy elsewhere.
