We spoke to them on Sunday, went down the same day , test drive Monday signed the deal on our dream car Tuesday, couldn't thank Paul and his team enough for the service they provided, couldn't recommend them enough 👍
I was in contact with the dealership regards a particular car they were selling, I explained I would be coming up from London and needed as much information and a truthful description as possible, really don’t think they know the meaning of truth, they sent me a video of the car saying there’s a couple of stone chips and a slight scuff which looked nothing, after travelling nearly 5 hours by train getting to the showroom taken to the car it was a real heap it had dents torn driver seat looking at the engine you could see it had been ragged but they wanted top dollar I new the price but it was low mileage so seemed relevant, as for the used sales manager he was rude unhelpful and abrupt and a couldn’t careless attitude so if you want dishonesty and bad service these are the people for you!!!!!! Would I recommend this Ford dealership in Bury ABSOLUTELY NOT As the title says BUYER BEWARE 😡

I recently purchased a used BMW 520 from EvansHalshaw, Bury. I lived about 150 miles from their showroom and had seen on line the exact car with the exact spec that I was looking for, I didn't really want to travel about 300 miles round trip to look at a car and was anxious about spending so much money on a car without a hands on viewing and test drive. I knew that the motor trade seemed to be turning to on line buying and thought I would make further enquiries to get a better idea of how it worked. I made initial contact with the online chat with a very pleasant and extremely helpful Lady called Chandni. She thoroughly expland to me how the system worked and reassured me of how safe the system was in yhe event of any problems and offered to send me a close up, all round video of the vehicle. The video was mailed to me and with Chandni pointing the major features of the car. Chandni was very knowledgeable and professional and at the same time very friendly and helpful but not at all pushy. I already knew that this was the car I wanted and Chandni reassured me that it was completely safe and easy to buy on line and she was absolutely right. I went ahead with the purchase feeling completely happy and secure in the knowledge that my new car was going to be delivered quickly and safely. A few days later it arrived on my driveway by a charming , helpful and friendly driver called Simon who went through the car with me and answered any questions. We inspected the car together and needless to say the car was exactly as described and shown in the advert and on the video. Many Thanks to Chandni, she is a great asset to her company and to Simon. We have just driven our new car home. It’s an upgrade to a ST-Line Vignale from our previous Fiesta a Titanium model. Thanks to Archie for his patience and professionalism and we finally came to a decision and we think a good decision. It drives well and we just need to set things up to suit us and get used to the extra gadgets. Hopefully we will get many years of problem free motoring. I have had this from all the other fiesta’s (too many to count) We’ve had. Archie your a star 🤩

Took my focus RS for its annual service to Evans halshaw Bury expecting a phone call to collect. Received a phone call at 11am advising that the car was in the lifts and there now was a broken brake pipe with fluid gushing out. This was not the case when I arrived as I had driven 8 miles to bring the car and would have had no brakes ! Long story but when purchasing the car was given a 5 year manufacturer warranty which Evans halshaw now deny giving as dealer principal and salesman have left. Evans halshaw now are charging me on top of a £240 service £95 to fix the pipe that was damaged in their care. Every time my car has been in with them I have had nothing but trouble the bonnet for scratched and they have no knowledge of resolving RS problems they can only deal with standard cars. My wife has for the last 20 years purchased all her cars from them this week she switched to Land Rover I am also next week trading the RS with Porsche. They have lost loyal customers through pathetic customer service and inability to fix the vehicles they sell to you themselves . So disappointed . Going to sign off the invoice paid with dispute as tired of dealing with them and just want to cut loose now . mechanic was Simon and was backed up by service lady Karen .
