Do not buy from here, I was sold a car with a faulty engine. All they do is lie all the time that includes the manager. The service manager said my children's safety was irrelevant then lied saying she didn't. Sent every back to them like they asked, they said they will change the v5 over to them to find out they haven't and are now refusing to change it even though they have it all in email. ALL THEY DO IS TELL LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Another car from this car dealership and again I am very satisfied. Thank you
My car was booked in for a service and MOT. It was cancelled 2 days before despite the booking being made several days ago. The next available slot apparently was in 3 weeks time which is useless as my MOT is due. When I explained this they could not care less! Avoid!

Highly impressed with the excellent level of customer care from Scott. Customer not the sale at the forefront. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My partner bought a Suzuki Alto from Evans Halshaw Hull. When she picked the car up it had to go straight back to have the windscreen washers sorted out, they had also added £1000 worth of extras without telling her or explaining what she was getting. Salesmen are your best mate when buying but after sales service is abysmal. We have been back several times to complain and keep getting fobbed off and lied to. One star is too much really. Their chance of repeat or referral business is zero.

I totally agree! I will never go back yo Evans Halshaw again. 5 year ago I bought a blue Ford c max. I received the v5 for a silver focus! They'd registered the wrong car to me. The salesman at the time wanted me to return it to him personally I got the feeling he was covering it up from his boss so I posted it back to the garage admin department. In July this year I bought (stupidly) an underpowered s#!? Show cotroen C3 aircross. After 7 weeks I had to ring the garage and inform them I'd not got my V5 yet and I need it because I want to change this stunned slug of a car for something with more get up and go. Their reply was that tge v5 was held up due to postal strikes and to change the car would mean I'd lose out as prices had plummeted. 3 weeks later I rang again as I'd still not got my V5. I was told by Charlie, tge salesman, that hed reapply for it and given a number to track it if didn't arrive within a few days. Lo and behold I received it approximately 4 days later. That wasn't all! Just over two weeks after having received my V5 I received no less than 18 fines from the Humber Bridge at £15 each plus £1.50 crossing toll. I have a humbertag account and had unfortunately put a wrong digit in when registering my new VRN. This meant my humbertag account wasn't recognised so my car went through he toll lane without registering and built up a backlog of fines until the Humber Bridge board could get my details from DVLA. Had Charlie registered tge car to me when he taxed it (as is usual) the Humber Bridge board would have been able to contact me sooner and the registration could have been rectified before so many fines built up! My biggest concern was that on my insurance I had ticked to confirm I was the registered owner and keeper. I am self employed and carry vulnerable adults daily in my car. If I'd had an accident and one or more of my clients had been hurt the insurance company cod have declared my insurance null and void! When I got in touch with Evans Halshaw again I asked for the sales manager and was put onto someone in his absence. (He was supposed to return my call urgently but hasn't to this day) The man I spoke to just said, let's wait and see what the Humber Bridge board says and take it from there as I told him I'd fussed up to my mistake with the VRN no and was waiting on the results of an appeal. In other words, if you don't get done, my manager need know nothing and there's no comeback on us! Had this been an isolated incident I'd not be so concerned but it seems they are totally incompetent when it comes to filling in legal documentation! Oh! And when I wanted to change the car just 3 months after purchasing it....I was expected to take a £3000 loss! AVOID THEM!
