Brought a car from there and has been nothing but trouble since driving it home took it to another Evans Halshaw deal ship for its repairs under warranty it had over 8k spent on it and a total of 8 weeks in the garage since they I had to pay out just over 2k on other faults you call up and all you get is his in a meeting you will get a call back but never does same story day after day I am having to take matters further

I had a car delivered in October with 22k miles. Upon receiving the car the rear quarter panel had been in an accident and the panel was starting to separate. Reported it soon as it arrived and was told they’d get it fixed. After a while the told me they had no spaces at my local garages. So was asked to get a quote to which I 2 different once to the of the sum of £950 and I got a reply saying they could only offer £300 as it was what there bodyshop said. Alternatively I let them drive 460 miles round trip to get it repaired when there is multiple Evans halshaw dealers round me causing me even more inconvenience. the delivery driver ran it out of fuel, it arrived several hours late at 5 AM instead of the scheduled 4:30 PM, and the vehicle was poorly valeted. I had to replace a punctured tyre the day of receiving it. But no I’m getting made to have more inconvenience. This has went on for nearly 5 months now. I’ve contacted the follow up email and was passed off to the person I had been dealing with at the dealer. Even though they have stalled for 5 months they have took a fair amount of the value. Even thought the issue was reported on day 1 an is still covered under the right to reject but they like to ignore the consumer rights act 23 & 24 and do what suits them. I’ve now had to escalate this legally.

I have bought a lot of cars in the past and can safely say this branch is the worst I have had to deal with, bought a car via the internet, when it turned up there was som damage that hadn’t been disclosed, I rang the sales person and he advised they would get it sorted, signed for the car, after a few hours noticed there was faults constant appearing, the car was filthy internally, had tampons, rubbish, mud inside, it was advertised as having appleplay and reverse sensors, ended up having neither, they offered to get add ons for reversing sensors which refused to they offered to pay for appleplay instead, completely forgetting it was supposed to have both anyway, after dozens of emails to sales I ended up have to email the CEO, eventually the head of business called me, which he accused me of lying. Was rude and so unprofessional, he eventually agreed to have to car looked at by my local dealer who where amazing, friendly and professional unlike this Evans haulage branch, after 4 months still waiting for the issue last to be resolved, and the car is having more issues, emailed the help email address and was basically fobbed off, these people just do not care all they want is your money, they are all rude and unprofessional, my advise under no circumstances purchase a car from these.

Went to go look at a car and was greeted by Jack who was lovely and not at all fazed by my driving 😬 I'd arranged to pick up my new car within the following few days , but needed it sooner Marc with a c went above and beyond to make sure this was possible . Fantastic service thankyou !

EH Leeds bought my car through Carwow, Mick Jenkindon, General Manager, was very helpful and informative throughout process and always responded to emails promptly. Would highly recommend Mick and his company as they made the process seamless. Was a pleasure dealing with them.

Gave 1 star as system does not allow none! I bought our second vauxhall car in a year from them complete with servicing plan. After 3.5 years the in- car entertainment stopped working. I returned it to Evans Halshaw who could run diagnostics on it for £90 which may enable them to identify the problem. I refused as £90 with no actual solution seemed ridiculous. After years of emails back and forth with vauxhall ‘customer care’ I relented and booked it in for them to find nothing wrong with the system (in the end they waived the diagnostic fee, shame they couldn’t have seen reason 3 years ago). They can now only suggest paying £1000+ for a new head unit which might fix the problem. Vauxhall provide sub standard parts and then Evans Halshaw subject their customer to expensive trial and error because their servicing departments are not trained to actually diagnose problems unless a computer spits out the problem for them. The interior looks swanky but you can’t replace with alternative aftermarket parts because the console is a specific size trapping you into seemingly endless costs and replacement Vauxhall parts that may or may not be faulty. They can’t even estimate a date when the parts will be available because there is no date in the computer (apparently picking up the phone to find out is beyond the skill set of this organisation). My advice, buy anything else and save yourself of the hassle of dealing with this company.

What an amazing experience I had today at Evans Halshaw - Hyundai, Leeds. I called in for information and ended up booking a new car in the space of an hour or so! A life changing decision for me. I was assisted by John who was such a nice man. Very approachable, down to earth. John listened to my requirements in a car and came up with the best solution. He is very knowledgeable and I learnt so much on my visit. John really went the extra mile in the whole process. I am so very grateful for Johns support today. I am absolutely over the moon and so happy with the outcome. Thank you John and Evans Halshaw. I would definitely recommend the services and give them a 10/10.

What can I say. When I think it can’t get any worse it does. Firstly car was booked in for a new radio, 2 weeks later I got the car back, scratched up and no new radio, to be told this radio had not been ordered at all. I took the car and was told to wait for the new radio to arrive. Received a phone call a week later, asking me to bring the car back as they need the code of my existing radio in order to order the new one. Again I had to bring the car (at a booked time) back to be told there was no one to take the code right now and it would be a couple of hours wait. 4 months later the radio arrived, I was told Evans Halshaw would repair the scratches that had occurred last time it was in. When I collects the car, the low and behold the scratches were still there!! Resulting in another trip to Evans halshaw. Oh and not to mention when your booking the car in, they will ask if you want a courtesy car which is NEVER booked and they tell you when you arrive there is nothing available. Useless useless useless!! Do not go here unless you want a lot of stress. Staff are incompetent.
