After enquiries to buy a car, I asked questions and was promised photos to be emailed/sent and a return phone call within 5 minutes. This was 20 hours ago, I’ve heard nothing even after sending emails and a phone call with a promise to ring me back. I’m pleased this has happened before I parted with my money. It’s hard to find a good car trader, this obviously isn’t a good one.

Was welcomed into the dealership by Julie Jammeh. As I had decided to wait for the checks to be done, she informed me of the expected wait time. I was invited to help myself to a hot drink. Throughout the time spent waiting, Julie kept me informed of progress in a professional manner. The time spent waiting seemed to pass quite quickly. I opened a Service Plan, with Julie explaining things, as appropriate. I have also booked my MOT, with Julie advising she will also keep me up to date on progress with that. Very impressed.

I had my MOT and major service as I was on a service plan and bought the car from Evans Halshaw Hyundai Leeds. They will manage to surprise you. They broke my passenger car door handle and left my car is a state after the service. Instead of trying to correct and own up they had done this. They blamed it on me even tho no one has used the passenger door since my service. They turned around and said it was commonly on my type of car. Very laughable. I wish I never went here. Nothing but trouble. Staff talk to you vile and with no respect. And the service was just awful.

If I can give 0 rating I would. Awful, Negligent, Irresponsible and Careless are the some of the words I would use to describe Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Leeds. They called me to inform the part has arrived and that I can bring my car in, booked my appointment for Friday 9am to pickup my car at 4pm. Dropped it off at around 8.45am and was not provided with a Courtesy Car. Called them at 3.30pm to let them know I will be there in half hour to pick up my car, I was told oh wait your car is not ready as one of the part is not yet arrived. How can some one call me to tell me part has arrived and accept my car and open it up and then realise oh, not the right part. What kind of Mechanics do they have ?!. Anyway I need to pick up my son at 5 but no car, refused to provide courtesy car so I had to use a taxi. I was told car will be ready by 6 so I can pick up Saturday first thing at 8.30am. Then later on Friday got a call saying it not be ready on Friday 6 rather it will be Saturday 9.30, then I called them at 9.15 on Saturday to let them know I am coming. I was told no part has not arrived it will be 11.30 now. They rang me at 11 and told me can't do 11.30 anymore as it's incorrect part still and told me it will be Monday now and offered me finally a Courtesy Car by which time I had completed all my shopping using Taxis (as in more than one). I had to take the day off on Monday to pickup the car and again, not ready at 8.30 on Monday, then it was 9 and then it was 11.30 and finally completed and pickup my car at 12.30. I had 3 issues to resolve with the car, fixed 2 and told can't fix the other as they think everything is fine ?!! Worst dealers ever, they just want new customers and once you are a customer then forget about anything, you practically don't exist. A word of advise even after all this if you are going to use them then call 3 or 4 time to get them to check every single part and ensure it will fit your car or better yet get them to send you the part number they have so you can check yourself, after which it will be unlikely that things can go wrong but I am sure they will manage to surprise you. Evans Halshaw Vauxhall in Leeds will sell you a vehicle without the relevant information from you then demand the information. Or send you to another car manufacturer for repairs, tell you on the phone they can be done but on arrival they send you away

left a £200 deposit on a car . Told it was refundable after test drive. Car had cigarette burns on seat (not in description). Had to get my son to go to to the dealership to tell them to process the payment after they constantly ignored requests to transfer the deposit. Secondly my granddaughter had a recall on her car, she was told she could have a loan car whilst they had her car for 2 hours work needed to fix the problem. The car was dropped off , she was told there was no loan cars available , they would need it for 4 days , Left her stood in reception with no transport , taxi to get home and informed if she took her own car away , her insurance would be void . Evans Halshaw Vauxhall in Leeds is an absolute disgrace of a 'dealership'
