Booked test drive for 1pm on a Sunday and paid a £99 refundable deposit for the car to be taken off sale. Drove 2.5 hours to go and test drive, got there and didn’t end up test driving until roughly 3pm as nobody was available... (I am almost 8 months pregnant and by this point was quite tired) even though the test drive was booked in advance, we were told they had no idea we were coming. Advertisement of car stated 47,000 miles (approx) yet the car had actually done over 60,000 miles. The sales man was polite but as he was fairly new or due to their process, everything had to be signed off by his manager Who was serving his own customers so wasn’t available when the sales man needed him, as this was a really long way of doing things we didn’t leave until gone 4:45pm that day, we did purchase the car and arranged for the car to be delivered to us, which only cost £20 for the petrol, but then I had to give the driver a lift to the nearest train station (I was supposed to be working but had I not taken him he would have been stuck over 100 miles from home) seems quite unprofessional. My main concern is that nobody had told me that the car only had one key, I asked the man who delivered the car about this and he said he would get a manager to call me and arrange for a 2nd key to be sorted out for me and this would require someone to come out to us as car keys need to be coded to the vehicle, So I have been waiting for a call and had nothing so decided to email via the contact form online as I only had an hour before I was going out, I received a phone call 4 minutes after I submitted the form which seemed rather prompt., I was told that the car was advertised with 1 key, I advised I hadn’t seen that information advertised and would have appreciated being told that the car only has one key verbally when we came to view it. I was told that they would expect me to read the advertisement before putting a deposit down (refundable, therefore had anyone have kindly told me I wouldn’t have bought the car and would have asked for my deposit to be refunded), the advertisement was taken off the internet before I got off the phone to the person who I paid the deposit to, therefore didn’t get chance to actually look at it. I was also told that I should have known it only had one key as only one key would have been given to us when we test drove it... to be honest I wouldn’t have expected them to give me two keys to test drive it. Basically they’re not holding any responsibility for this and have told me to pretty much deal with it. Shocking service, Very unorganised and completely unprofessional. Do not use This dealership unless you would like to waste your time and money on a company where you’re just a sales figure and not a valued customer.
